Cat Sitting in Dumfries

Samantha was absolutely incredible with my cat Cleo this weekend. She always texted with updates and provided so many pictures and videos. I felt so much peace knowing that my cat was well loved while I was gone.

Really helpful with a last minute drop in visit for my cat! She seems to make Molly feel very safe and comfortable even though she’s a nervous cat. Caitlin provided great updates!

Since I was not comfortable leaving my 1 year old cat and 18 year old cat home alone while I went on vacation, Rover.com was the solution I needed to put my mind at ease! Janet came over a few weeks before I went out of town to meet me and my kitties to make sure we were a good match. Right off the bat I knew it was going to work without hesitation! We made a visitation schedule and I let her know what I needed her to do at each visit including giving one of my kitties medication. After I left for vacation, she came over as agreed and even sent me updates and pictures of my babies so that I could see how they were doing! It was obvious that she really cared for my kitties! What surprised me the most was that my elder cat, who is scared of everyone, actually let Janet finally pet her at her last visit! I would highly recommend Janet to anyone in need of a pet sitter! I know that I definitely enjoyed my vacation more knowing that Janet was checking in on my kitties when I couldn't! Thank you for your excellent service and the kindness you showed to my babies while I was away...it meant the world to me!

Dominique did a terrific job again of taking care of my cat. She was patient with his standoffishness and let him dictate the terms of their encounters. She went above and beyond my expectations of a sitter.

Hana took excellent care of our senior kitty, Rue, while we were away. Rue requires medication twice a day, which isn’t always easy, but Hana made sure she got everything she needed right on time. She also sent thoughtful updates every day, which gave us so much peace of mind. We highly recommend Hana and would absolutely book with her again!

Stephen was super accommodating and sweet to my picky cat, even going as far as to hand feed him to get him to eat, as well as getting him to take his supplements. Definitely will book again!

Leaving Huxley, my precious fur baby, is always tough because he’s not just a cat to me—he’s family. But Stefanie made everything so easy and worry-free! She did daily home drop-ins for nearly a week while I was away, and I felt completely comfortable the entire time. Stefanie didn’t just take amazing care of Huxley—she also treated our home with such respect and consideration. It’s a huge deal to find someone you trust to enter your space while you’re gone, and Stefanie exceeded every expectation. Her updates were thorough, reassuring, and filled with adorable photos of Huxley looking happy and relaxed. You could tell he adored her! If you need a reliable, caring, and detail-oriented sitter who will love your pet (and respect your home) like their own, Stefanie is the one. My kitty Sebastian has found a friend for life! Michele was amazing--best pet sitter ever. She made sure Sebastian had plenty of food and water, changed his litter box everyday and sent us fantastic photos and videos of him everyday. Couldn't ask for anything more. I would highly recommend Michele for any pet setting you might need--we will definitely be using her again!
