House Sitting in Earlysville

After our first Rover sitter said they couldn’t do it. We were panicked to find a replacement. I am so glad I ran across Dakota and Rover. Took excellent care of both dogs and also the house. Any future trips will definitely get Dakota to watch our two dogs for us. Highly highly recommend.

Tessa did a wonderful job taking care of my dog and kitten while we were away. I almost never leave my fur babies in the care of a stranger, but she made me feel at ease while I was away. She was responsive and sent photos and updates. My dog Zuko looked so happy in the photos! She was also a very respectful guest in our home. She ran the dishwasher, took out the trash, and stripped the sheets before she left. I will definitely be hiring her again in the future!

Kayla was willing and gracious enough to watch my 2 dogs and my cat at short notice. I absolutely loved that she sent a picture of my skittish rescue dog sitting on her lap. I would so pleased and I would request her again in a second.

Mary was great with our cat Monty! She was very communicative and spent lots of time with him over the 7 days she sat for us. The house was immaculate when we got back. Would 100% recommend her

We were so lucky to have Emily stay in our home over Thanksgiving to take care of our dog, Goose, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. She was warm, responsible, and immediately attentive to Goose’s routine and quirks. Throughout the stay, she sent thoughtful updates and adorable photos—Goose clearly adored her. She kept him on his feeding and walking schedule, gave him plenty of playtime and snuggles, and treated him like he was her own. Goose can’t wait to see her again!

Madelyn was great! She dog sat my two pups over a long weekend. They were in great hands and I was so comfortable with her in our house. She kept me informed throughout the whole time. I highly recommend her!

Abby was absolutely wonderful! She made us feel so reassured and confident that our pets were receiving the BEST care! She took time to come meet our girls before the booking, got to know their personalities and let them get familiar with her. She is an absolute gem! We will definitely be calling her again!!

Nathan was so flexible letting us add an additional night. Frequent videos and updates of our dogs. Our very energetic lab was left very tired after a fun weekend with Nathan!

Tess was amazing! Our dog is very sweet but high energy and Tess stayed in our home to care for her for 6 days. She was very responsive and our dog seemed to really enjoy spending the week with her. Definitely recommend!

We took a chance on Piper after reading her great reviews and we are so glad we did. She stayed at our home for the weekend and took care of our sheltie and cat. Our animals loved having her around and she followed our instructions with meds and feeding times and cleaned up the dog poops in the yard as we had requested. Our cat demands attention and Piper gave her and our dog plenty of love as evidenced by all the pictures Piper sent. She reported several times daily on how the animals were doing. She put our minds at ease. Piper left the house clean and tidy. We have full confidence in Piper and are so glad we found her. We will definitely use her services again.

Amanda is absolutely amazing! This is the first time I used Rover. Amanda was very communicative and sent photos each day. I will definitely use her again as a house sitter on our next trip. She even washed the sheets! The house was spotless. My dog was taken care of well the entire time we were gone.

Our pets absolutely love Jordan!! Jordan took amazing care of our 2 labs, 1 schichon, and 2 outside cats. Our small, nervous, anti-social schichon was charmed almost immediately. She was in Jordan's lap and sleeping with her on the very first day. It usually takes this pup a week (or more) to warm up to someone she doesn't know. We were thrilled they all got along so well! Jordan was amazing about communication; she checked in daily with pictures of our pets. Jordan's care and attention put us at ease our entire vacation! When we got home, we had a clean house and clean sheets. We will definitely be scheduling our vacations around Jordan's calendar! Thank you so much Jordan <3

Star provided a calming and nurturing stay with Douglas. He is a new pet, a rescue with reactive tendencies who needs a lot of attention and patience. That's exactly what he got from her, and I came home to a very happy boy. I am delighted in the care she took of my home while staying. The insights she shared were a welcomed "second pair of eyes" in helping to better understand and support my dog. We have booked her for another stay soon.
