Dog Boarding in Hurt

We really enjoyed working with Tiffany. She was very accommodating and sent pictures of our two dogs. She responded quickly to messages and even gave some special care to our yorkiepoo when she was nervous. We would highly recommend her services for anyone who wants a kind and loving sitter for pets!

Jody's home was a great place for my dog to be overnight; she has a number of well behaved animals including the most adorable baby goat I have ever seen. So in addition to the quality care he received from Jody, I know that he had the opportunity to socialize which is something he has sorely needed ever since his best friend recently moved away. It is clear that Jody makes her Rover commitments her top priority, and I recommend her highly.

Fantastic sitters! Took Misha pretty last minute and we felt so good about him being there with Emily and Donnie. Emily is so friendly, courteous and kept us updated while we were away. I know Misha would love to visit again! Thank you!

Cheyenne and her family were very welcoming and flexible. She sent pictures of Finn and he looked relaxed and happy. He tends to get anxious when left so it was nice to see him interacting.

Cortney was sooo nice and accommodating. You can tell she really likes animals. Even the neighbors dog comes over to her house cuz s/he knows it’s a house of love. My Cockapoo had the best time at her house playing with the other 2 dogs she was sitting for (or maybe they were hers?) either way- I would definately have Cortney take care of Mochi again.

Ruffles normally have anxiety when we leave him & this was Coco's first time away from us. During the meet and greet, we could already tell that both our dogs were comfortable with Brenda and the environment. Knowing that our dogs are well cared for gave us the peace of mind and allowed us to relax during our vacation. Thank you Brenda for the great care and love extended to our dogs. We could tell that they had a good time with you!

Layna did an excellent job pet sitting our two dogs for 11 days. Although young, she is very mature! One of our dogs is special needs (blind), and the other is VERY high energy. Despite these extra challenges, she gave them wonderful care. She even sent updates and some pictures to us to let us know how they were doing. We highly recommend Layna and plan to use her in the future for our pet sitting needs!

We really enjoyed Kari and her family and Kinsey and a great time with them. She also loved playing with Kari’s little puppy Daphne. We are so excited we found someone we feel comfortable leaving our baby with and we know she will always be well cared for and loved 🥰

Charlie and Ben very much enjoyed their stay with Chantal during my wedding week in Lynchburg! Charlie was a little hesitant at first (as is his usual), but became glued to Chantal very quickly; two peas in a pod! I love that Chantal's home is off the road a bit, and in a neighborhood where the homes sit on decent sized land. Her home is open, and has a screened in porch perfect for naps in the sun. Once Charlie adjusted, I was able to relax and enjoy my festivities knowing my fur babies were in very good hands! If im ever back in Lynchburg needing doggy care, I wouldn't hesitate to call on Chantal again!

She was amazing taking care of my dog Alpen as he got lots of love, exercise and time around humans! Shout out to Joleen for being able to dog sit on short notice!

Not exaggerating - Alliyah was an absolute angel! This was our pup Lucy's first time away from home for more than one night, and Alliyah did everything to make her feel comfortable and cared for. She sent us thorough updates and pictures throughout Lucy's stay, and was flexible with us when our travel plans changed at the end of our trip. When we reunited with Lucy, she got excited to see us again for about 2 minutes and then was her normal dog self - a great sign that she was doing just fine without us for a week! Plus she was tuckered out from all the playtime she got, and I can tell she already misses the new friends she made. Alliyah made us feel so at ease, which has alleviated a lot of stress about the summer travel we have planned now that we have such a wonderful family to watch Lucy for us when the time comes.

Emily was great and was extremely communicative and quick with responses for any and all of my questions. After we did our initial meet and greet I knew my pup was going to be in great hands. Emily was very understanding and flexible with last minute changes in my work schedule and changes in my booking. She will be my first choice in the future to watch my dog again, and I have recommended her to my coworkers already and I recommend her for anyone who is looking for a sitter. Thank you Emily for looking after Buddy!

Aquilla was great with our dog Bella. She accepted our dog right into her home and lived on her while we were gone for 5 days. We will def. use her again.

We were very satisfied with our experience. Wendy sent pics and text daily to keep us in touch with Bella and Bandit. She walked them daily even though they have a fenced in yard. They received lots of love and attention. I even referred my Facebook friends to River.com

I left my energetic 1.5 year old boxer mix with Falen for the first time, and he had the time of his life! He came home tired and happy :) Falen sent pictures and was very quick to respond throughout his stay.

Carla and her family were so good to Snickers! He came home happy and maybe a tad bit sad to leave behind his new friends! Carla was great at sending updates and spoiling him! We are so thankful we found someone to love on Snickers when we can’t!

They were very flexible during the holidays, and their two dogs were very sweet. Would bring my dog back.

Marketa was very responsive and took great care of our pup. She was kind and communicative. She took great care of him and he came home safe, happy and tired. Would definitely book again.
