Dog Boarding in Idylwood

Sam was a wonderful Dogsitter for Jax! Jax stayed with Sam for 2 weeks and was happy and content there. Sam sent pics and texts to keep me up to date on how Jax was doing so I wouldn’t worry. Jax and Sam’s dog Happy got along well too! Sam was easy to communicate with and flexible on my drop off/pick up times. Will definitely use Sam again as a sitter!

Ron and his family took in our pup and instantly made her feel like part of the family. She enjoyed multiple walks every day and got to explore some beautiful wooded areas. And lots of play time with the family and their dog made for a perfect stay.

Musa was really great with my dog Otis and sent me several photos of him while I was away looking right at home. I would definitely hire Musa again without any hesitation.

Christine is extremely competent and professional. She boarded our dog, Jax, while we were away for several days. She picked up and dropped off Jax at the times we agreed upon. She sent pictures of Jax, so we felt assured he was enjoying his stay. Christine let us know we could leave Jax with her again, and we certainly will.

Nina did a wonderful job as usual with my dog - she sent lots of updates and pictures everyday and Penny seemed like she had a great time with Nina’s family and the other dogs! I’m so grateful to have found a boarder that Penny is comfortable with as she tends to be afraid of people, but I think she looks forward to her stays with Nina and I would 100% recommend her to anyone.

Katie Is our new go-to Rover!!!   What an unexpected surprise.  From the moment I met her I relaxed because I knew my dogs would be in good hands.  Upon meeting you can tell that she is a good, kind person. Katie was kind, loving and gentle with my Keira and Bridget.  She gave them their medication, and eye drops. She walked them and it's obvious they had lots of affection and attention. She also went to our home and took care of our bird and fed the fish in our pond. I recommend her whole heartedly!!

We are so grateful that Han was available for our January trip to see family. The visit would not have been possible without her patience and flexibility as our return trip was delayed by the snowstorm in DC. Was nice to see our dog having a good time in the snow on walks with Han. Thank you!

Karen is absolutely amazing with our 2 chihuahuas. She walks them everyday, sends lots of pictures, and gives them lots of love. She’s watched our dogs a couple times now and I will only have her sit for us from now on.

Highly responsive and accommodating. She sent us few photos for our dog during his stay. We ran late for pick up due to bad weather and she was assuring and accommodating. Highly recommend will bring our doggo back again.

Sara and her family were AMAZING. They totally understood our quirky pups and loved on them like their own. They got so much exercise, cuddles, and love -- it really made our trip away so much more at-ease. We got daily updates and photos and the dogs were clearly having the best time. Their yard is ideal for frisbee and running, and they allowed us to set up our giant crates downstairs with no problem. They were truly the BEST sitters I've ever left our dogs with! We cannot thank them enough!

Kate did a great job taking care of Lily! She was really flexible and accommodating with our booking and provided lots of updates and pictures!

Jie was responsive to all our questions before we booked and did a great job taking care of our 22-pound cava poo during our trip. She sent us pictures throughout his stay and even dropped him off when we got back. We would love to use her again to watch him.

ABSOLUTE SUPERB HOSTS!!! I had to suddenly leave out of town for an urgent matter. Sharon & Hyen Tyae responded quickly to my reservation request, and we confirmed a very last minute booking within just four hours notice of drop-off time. I felt a bit nervous about leaving my pups with strangers without even a prior meet and greet, but any worries were immediately dissolved when I met Sharon and Hyen Tyae and saw how calm and welcoming they were with my pups. Within just minutes after driving away, I was sent the cutest video of my pups excitedly exploring their house! The video and picture updates continued throughout the stay, and I have to add that Sharon has a talent for photography and her pictures were beautiful!!! I could see that my pups were relaxed, happy, and being loved on! I was a little worried that they may not want to come home! The attention to details, great communications, and the high level of care that Sharon and Hyen Tyae provide is simply exceptional!!! Highly recommend!!!

Nadine was just amazing! She took care of our anxious pup with love and patience, did her best to keep her comfortable. She was very communicative and sent me daily updates with lots of photos, which I really loved. Thanks, Nadine!!

This was our first time using Rover, and we were nervous to have someone watch our dogs Peanut and Biscotti while we were out of town. To ease our worries, Benjamin allowed us to have a meet and greet at his house prior to booking, and our dogs seemed to love open, big, and clean his house was. We decided to book him and we don’t regret it. Benjamin sent us photos of them everyday, and they seemed to have adapted well- Biscotti cuddling with people, and Peanut making his claim on Benjamin’s couch! When we picked them up they looked well and happy, just as we had left them. We were very happy with our first Rover experience. Thank you Benjamin!

Suzi is fantastic, and sent frequent updates to me including photos and texts. The photos showed that Hyuna loved her stay with Suzi! I can tell she made my anxious puppy feel comfortable and welcomed. I am excited to have found someone who is very reliable and someone I can turn to whenever I need to travel.

Evo had a great time with Sheyanna! She's very experienced with dogs, including larger dogs, so he was definitely in good hands. Shey sent us updates every day, and her fenced backyard was a huge plus!

Bethany took great care of our pup, Coco. We got pictures and stories everyday and Coco got lots of outside time, cuddles, and socialization. We could tell it would be a great experience from the moment we arrived and she let Coco settle in on her own in the yard before bringing her inside. Bethany understands what pups, and their owners, need!

Khushi had an amazing time and was extremely pampered and taken extra care of (even provided a bath and special treatment for her skin allergies). Best experience ever.
