Dog Boarding in McCarthys Corner

Connie and her dog Oliver were fantastic in taking care of our dog Sayla during our recent trip to Myrtle Beach. We normally take Sayla on our trips to our condo but didn’t think it was in her best interest because of the heat and restrictions on pet access to the beach during the summer months. Our normal PetVacay host was out of town and we were lucky enough to find Connie who lives just two blocks from us. Connie kept us posted everyday with pictures of all the great activities Sayla was participating in with Oliver such as playtime in the big back yard, evening playtime in the house, and a trip to the new walking trails in Fredericksburg. Larissa was Excellent with our boy, Dallas!!! From the moment I dropped him off, Larissa was kind and gentle with our dog. She was patient and let him get acclimated to her before I left. During his stay, Larissa sent photos and reassured us that he was with a loving sitter. She even gave Dallas a goodbye gift treat bag when he left. Larissa was awesome and I hope to use her services again in the future!!!!

Amber did such an amazing job dogsitting my pup, Mochi! I reached out for a short-notice request and she was super accommodating. She also sent pictures and provided updates each day. I felt so comfortable leaving my pup with her and I will definitely use her services again. Amber is an excellent choice if you need someone to look after your dog!

Iris did such an amazing job with Benji. She’s able to handle him since he’s such a hyperactive dog. She updated me very often with pictures and videos and Benji truly had a great time!

Absolutely stellar experience with Gabby! She watched my two dogs Ziggy & Bella countless times and I couldn't be happier. Reliable, caring, and always goes the extra mile to ensure my pets are comfortable and well taken care of. My dogs adore Gabby, and I have complete peace of mind whenever they are in her care. Hannah has done a great job with Sparky! He was happy with her care I can tell?. I have got updates every day, few times a day, and was really good to know he was doing OK! It has been few years now since I have to let him with a sitter, and I was nervous a little. But they both did excellent job?! Thank you so much Hannah, and we will stay in touch! ???

Eldeen and her family watched our La La for the 2nd time. She keeps us updated through photos or video. Our dog is older and just likes to chill and she acknowledges that but also gives her the sunshine she loves and an occasional romp outside. I don't worry when she's there. She'll have us a repeat bookers for as long as she wants!

Lisa was friendly with really good communication. Lady had a great time and we were totally comfortable knowing Lisa was watching our dog. We will use Lisa again.

My boys were so happy (and exhausted) after coming home from a weekend with Rocky (Ligia). I couldn’t have asked for a better response from them! They are both anxious boys, so the fact that they both came home with big puppy smiles filled my heart. We had full trust in Rocky and her fam to take care of my boys when we were out of state and knew she would be able to handle any emergency that might arise. My boys can be divas, but she handled their needs perfectly. Thank you for loving my babies like your own!

Jessica has watched my dog twice now and I’m so glad I was able to find her on Rover. She’s super accommodating and my dog always comes home happy! Highly recommend Jessica to anyone in need of a sitter.

Chewie loves staying with Traci. She gets plenty of love and exercise. Always seems so happy when we arrive to pick her up and we love to get photos of her during her stay.

Fantastic place for our Cooper to be while we took a week’s vacation. I don’t think he wanted to come home! Great communication and lots of updates. Will definitely be sending our pup again!

Our Corgi had a great time staying with Laura and her pups. She has a large fenced in property and our little guy returned home good and tired from playing with her dogs. Will definitely contact Laura next time he needs looking after!

Warren and Ashlee were outstanding pet sitters! We could tell our dogs were loved the entire time and the pictures Warren and Ashlee sent us proved they had a great time. We will definitely keep using Warren and Ashlee because we know they will show our dogs just as much attention and love as we do!!!

Every single picture and update you sent brightened my day and reassured me that he was happy, loved, and having a great time. Your home felt so warm and welcoming, and your little helpers were absolutely fantastic! When Denzel came home, he was all smiles—so relaxed, happy, and full of appreciation. He didn’t look the least bit stressed or exhausted, which truly made my heart sing. You clearly showered him with love and attention, and it means the world to me. This booking was a shot in the dark but WE WERE LUCKY!!! Julie, her husband, and children pitch-in with this farm-style boarding. My dog integrated surprisingly fast with the other dogs, running and playing freely outside on the farm. When she wanted to, she came in to eat, drink, and sleep. I have found my forever-boarder/dog sitter. She is truly special, gives plenty of feedback throughout the day, and LOVES DOGS! :)

Maria was a pleasure to work with. She was flexible with her schedule, has an obvious passion for dogs, and offers her beautiful home and backyard. Highly recommended.
