House Sitting in Midway Mills

Our pets absolutely love Jordan!! Jordan took amazing care of our 2 labs, 1 schichon, and 2 outside cats. Our small, nervous, anti-social schichon was charmed almost immediately. She was in Jordan's lap and sleeping with her on the very first day. It usually takes this pup a week (or more) to warm up to someone she doesn't know. We were thrilled they all got along so well! Jordan was amazing about communication; she checked in daily with pictures of our pets. Jordan's care and attention put us at ease our entire vacation! When we got home, we had a clean house and clean sheets. We will definitely be scheduling our vacations around Jordan's calendar! Thank you so much Jordan <3

Tina is the absolute best rover we have ever had!! We were out of the country when our dog sitter had to cancel unexpectedly. We were extremely nervous about finding someone last minute that we trusted for our two dogs that we love like our children, PLUS with the threat of a massive snowstorm. Tina had last minute availability and we were able to book with her promptly. She took care of our puppies as if they were her own, sent lots of videos and pictures, and gave us lots of updates to put us at ease. She was even able to identify some health things that might be going on with our senior dog & our allergy-affected 2 year old dog, which we will have looked at when we get home. Tina is a wonderful person and rover. She really cares about animals, and is understanding and patient. Having two dogs can be a lot, especially with a senior dog and a puppy. In all honesty, I usually have so much anxiety about leaving our dogs with anyone and sometimes cannot relax on vacation. This was not the case with Tina. I felt fully confident and trusted her completely. We hope to book with her whenever we need to leave town from now on! And our girls seemed so happy and loved her, too!

We needed a petsitter to stay at our house while we were away for 8 days. This was our first trip away from our dogs (rescues adopted in December and January). One dog takes a little while to warm up to new people (and she acts like she might eat them until she gets used to them). The other dog is VERY ENERGETIC and tends to get into trouble if left unsupervised for extended amounts of time. I read through Rover reviews for petsitters who would stay at house and James had excellent reviews even from owners with difficult dogs. We really appreciated him coming to our house not once but twice. for everyone to get more comfortable with each other before our trip. The "slow to warm up to new people" dog adopted James as her new parent and the rambunctious dog was renamed "Crazy" by him. (I think he means it in an endearing way?). Anyway, we were very happy w/ James and all not hesitate to used him again!

Megan stayed with my two kitties for a few days over Christmas. I will 100% be asking her to watch my girls again. She was went above and beyond, sending me pics and updates frequently. She ensured that Lemon and Pepper were cared for. Pepper likes to hide sometimes during mealtimes, but Megan made sure that Pepper didn’t miss a meal, which I so appreciate! I couldn’t recommend her enough! Thank you so much again, Megan!

Star provided a calming and nurturing stay with Douglas. He is a new pet, a rescue with reactive tendencies who needs a lot of attention and patience. That's exactly what he got from her, and I came home to a very happy boy. I am delighted in the care she took of my home while staying. The insights she shared were a welcomed "second pair of eyes" in helping to better understand and support my dog. We have booked her for another stay soon.

David was really lovely. It was my first experience using a house sitter instead of boarding as I had always felt a bit uneasy about it, but David was very reassuring and put me at ease. He took great care of my dog while I was gone and she seemed to have really liked him; the first night I came home, she went to the guest room where he had stayed instead of my room and was sniffing and looking around like she was looking for him. I would definitely recommend him for anyone!
