Dog Boarding in Nokesville

Chaoran responded quickly. She was flexible when my daughter had a medical emergency. She took such wonderful care of our puppy; we knew that our puppy was having a wonderful time with someone who loves animals. She sent daily updates with photos.

When one plans a vacation for the family, it’s not perfect unless the dog sitter is excellent. Darnell is top notch! This was our first experience with Darnell. We have other sitter’s but I wanted to find someone closer to our home. From my first outreach to our last communication, our family knew our two-year-old Golden Retriever was in the best of care! Our initial visit at Darnell’s home was well-organized and attentive. Let’s just say our Golden boy was super happy to explore and to meet his dogs. Darnell was nice and he was thorough asking questions that put us immediately at ease. Darnell provided quick responses to any of my outreaches and always included a daily script of our Golden’s well-being and his often playful/goofy moments. He included daily photos as well ;) Our Golden arrived at Darnell’s being treated with a double-ear infection, but that was no problem. Darnell gave our boy his daily meds, and he came home in tip top shape. In truth, his coat was super soft, well brushed, clean and he smells great!!! I was impressed! Our animals become a member of the family and I must say that leaving one’s pup with a stranger is hard…period. Darnell did everything right and good. He’s a five star Rover sitter, but more importantly he’s become our friend. Thank you, Darnell. We appreciate all you did for our boy so we could enjoy our vacation. Not only will I continue to board our Golden Retriever at Darnell’s home, but will refer our friends to him.

Caroline and her family love dogs and took very good care of Elroy. Flexible with pickup and drop off time, prompt in respondance and keep me updated during the stay. Highly recommended. Will definitely rebook with them.

Stephen and his family are awesome at what they do. It’s very clear they care so much about the dogs they watch, taking the time to learn about all their quirks and routines. Frankie had such a lovely time with them and got to go on car rides everyday. She was also starting a new oral medication and Stephen made sure to update me on whether she was taking them. They sent SO many cute pictures which made my day every time and eased any anxiety I had about being apart. We would definitely have them watch Frankie again 🙂

Maria communicated very well before and throughout our dog’s stay with her. She sent pictures and updates during the stay, which was great! Dustie had a fun time with Maria, we’ll definitely have Dustie stay with her again!

Winnie had a wonderful stay and was clearly well-cared for while I was away. Jamie and Mike provided great communication and made me feel completely at ease. I highly recommend their services and will definitely be booking with them again!

Rachel is the sweetest, friendliest, most accommodating and thoughtful Rover neighbor we have. I'm so thankful to Rachel for loving on our pup, and always being so kind and helpful. Thank you Rachel!

We could not imagine a better experience than what Leslie provided. She provided thorough updates about the dogs, and lots of photos and pictures showing the fun activities they did each day. We would be so lucky to have the dogs in her care during our next travel. Thank you, Leslie!

Stacie provided wonderful care for our 4.5 month puppy. It was our first time boarding Muffin upon a friend’s recommendation and we were nothing but pleased. Stacie was very accommodating of our conflicting schedules on the pick up day and even helped drop our puppy off at my neighbour’s house so he didn’t need to be boarded at 2 different places. She shared pictures & updates all the while and provided a home away from home for our puppy. We’ll definitely board Muffin with Stacie in the future.

Absolutely excellent. This is our first time using Rover and first time with Heather, and we couldn't be happier with the whole experience from start to finish. In the past, when we couldn't take Ewok with us on vacation and didn't know about the Rover service, we would leave him with a kennel-style boarding company, pay for "play time" and "exercise" and we would never feel fully satisfied with the experience, Ewok seemed unhappy. We are so happy we found Rover, and through it, Heather. Heather is amazing (so is her adorable puggle, China). She had complete control of the situation at our first meet and greet when we were still unsure of this new option for Ewok. She asked all the right questions, made all the right accommodations, and worked wonders to assure us that Ewok would be safe and loved by dog lovers for the week we were out. She put our minds at ease, and she kept our minds at ease with not only pics of Ewok relaxing comfortably, but news of his growing relationship with China! We came to pick him up a week later and he was so full of pep, showing us his new favorite toys, drinking water from a bowl we said he would never drink from, and just hanging out. Heather is tremendously knowledgeable about dogs, and it shows in the wonderful service she provides her canine clients.

Barry and Cheryl took fantastic care of my 10year old little dog for 10 nights. I never was worried about my pet for a moment knowing the love and care that he was getting.

Jim did a great job taking care of Nick. He took Nick out for walks several times a day, which Nick loved. Nick normally is upset when we leave him with someone else, but he was fine this time. We will leave Nick with Jim again in future!

John and his wife were incredible lifesavers, stepping in to host my dog, Willa, last-minute over Thanksgiving weekend. Despite the chaos of holiday traffic causing a major delay in our drop-off time, they were incredibly accommodating and understanding. They kept me updated throughout Willa’s stay with regular photos and status updates, and they even sent her home with a sweet goodbye card. Knowing Willa was in such caring and capable hands gave me some much needed peace of mind. We’ll absolutely be returning next time we’re in the area!

Dana was great, she provided several updates each day throughout the weekend and we can tell he was well taken care of! We will definitely reach out to Dana again next time we need someone to watch Enzo.

Rebecca is awesome and does a great job! I completely trust her. My elderly dog loves her time with Rebecca and her two pups! Would definitely book with her again.

Catherine and her family took great care of Andy. This time he stayed with them for a very long time. Finn and Andy get along well. Catherine took care of Andys allergies and sensitive tummy. So glad to have found the

Heather took great care of Bull. She was great at keeping us updated daily with pictures and Bull was a very happy pup at Heather's house. I would recommend her to others and would board Bull again with Heather.

Corey took great care of our pups; they obviously loved being there. He has great walking and sniffing places for walks by the house. He sent lots of great pictures. We would board with him again.

Austin and Michaela are great!! We got updates on how the pups were doing throughout the day. Our pups had a great time and look forward to returning!! Thank you!

Taylor is a kind, sweet and generous dog enthusiast who took great care of our two male french bulldogs (one of which was an 8mo old puppy). Taylor provided frequent (multiple times a day) pictures and text updates. She has a backyard and the boys had as much of a vacation as we did! Thanks so much Taylor!
