Dog Boarding in Old Somerset

Paula took good care of my dog, Baymax, who happened to have a runny tummy during his stay. My dog has long hair, so you can imagine how messy that gets when he has loose stool :( Paula made sure to get him all clean so he didn’t feel bad. I really appreciated her help and thoughtfulness!

Aly was wonderful with our super anxious little pooch. She welcomed her into her home like one of her own and made her feel safe and loved. She even attempted to clean those crusty little things from around our dog's eyes. I couldn't ask for a more kind and patient sitter.

Katina M. was awesome! She sent pictures or videos of my beagle Ellie every day, and this helped me enormously while we were separated. And despite Ellie’s separation anxiety I never once felt concerned that she was not receiving plenty of love and attention. We had an altogether great experience with Katina, highly recommended.

I can’t thank and recommend Svitlana enough! My dog is high energy pup Svitlana handled her like a charm. Every photo she sent of Ruby clearly showed that she was at ease in their home and having a great time. Five star recommend!

Our goldendoodle, Sophie, loved her stay with Penny! She was very easy to communicate with and clearly cared for her dogs and Sophie very much!

Jesse, Emily and their wonderful daughters took excellent care of our elderly hound Rosie, and really made her feel part of the family! They were also kind and accommodating when our plane was delayed and we had to push up the pickup date.

Julia is the best dog sitter I've ever come across! She is so capable of handling my 100lb American bulldog with ease. I have tried a few other sitters before coming across Julia but I was afraid to leave him too long because he is so big, and although gentle, people are sometimes scared of him and don't see past his appearance to the loving and sweet disposition underneath. However, when I leave him with Julia, I know that she knows who he really is! She is so sensitive to the dogs and the dog parents needs and she is always willing to work around crazy schedules. Our flight was delayed three hours and she got up at midnight to hand him off to us. She really is the most caring and dependable dog sitter and boarder in Charlottesville!

Hillary did a wonderful job with our pup! She walked us through everything she would need and gave us timely updates throughout our dog's stay with her and her family. Whenever we asked a specific question she was quick to respond and detailed. Would definitely board our pup with her again!

Caitlin and her wonderful helpers spoiled both our little guys. The dogs had a fantastic time during their week long stay and really developed a bond with Caitlin and friends. They made sure the dogs were well loved in our absence and gave them tons of love and play time. During our next vacation, Jasper and Callahan will be having a vacation of their own with Caitlin.

Jessica (and family) is amazing! Our little puppy, Oliver, had an absolute blast! He loves people and other dogs, so it was perfect for him. He got tons of playtime and snuggles. Jessica made sure to keep us up to date on how he was doing and sent tons of pictures and videos. She's our go to for not just boarding but puppy daycare too.

Highly recommend and hope to work with Reuben again! My golden retriever was well taken care of and got to play with Reubens adorable grate Dane. Reuben sent pictures, was very communicative and accommodating. Thank you again!!

Our dog had a great time staying with Hope! Hope was very communicative, sent cute pictures, and I could tell my dog had a nice time staying with her—he is an older dog and can sometimes have a hard time when his routine is disrupted, but when we picked him up he was super calm and happy as a clam!

Charissa is wonderful. I have left my dog Rowan with her twice now and I love her services! She takes pictures and then adds them to the pets profile and has an amazing setup to help socialize dogs safely. I would recommend her services to anyone who needed somewhere to board their dog! She’s very knowledgeable and can handle all types of dogs. She’s great!

Charity is so caring, capable and compassionate with all the animals she cares for and my pup Finn is just happy to get to be part of her part time family now and then. I completely trust her to take care of him as I would. Thank you Charity!

Nathan's service was excellent. He watched my basset while I was hospitalized for a week, and I never had a concern. Nathan himself is a joy to work with, and my hound came home happy for the experience.

Nails, and her husband,, beautiful daughter or wonderful. They treated my dog lovingly, gave him a wonderful bedroom and his little companion to sleep in and they seemed happy and relaxed when I picked him up they’re very fine people think.

He was absolutely amazing with Teddy! I was always on loop through videos and messages. I am glad my dog now has gained more confidence as well.

We feel so lucky to have found Heather and her family to watch our dogs. It is always stressful to find a new sitter and Heather was able to make us more comfortable at every stage. She provided a kind and warm atmosphere for our dogs, that let us know they were in good hands. She did an amazing job of communicating and sharing updates on how our pups were doing that helped put us at ease during our time away. And the best feeling of all is when you get to pick up your dogs to find them both happy and exhausted. Thank you Heather!
