Mark and Daniel were INCREDIBLE! They took excellent care of our dog and communicated daily with sweet updates. They went above and beyond when our travel plans were impacted by weather and stayed flexible and communicative throughout. And pick up and drop off weee east and smooth. We will definitely be booking with them for future dog sitting needs!

Katina M. was awesome! She sent pictures or videos of my beagle Ellie every day, and this helped me enormously while we were separated. And despite Ellie’s separation anxiety I never once felt concerned that she was not receiving plenty of love and attention. We had an altogether great experience with Katina, highly recommended.

I couldn’t be happier with this family! They took such sweet care of Piper and treated her like their own. I received plenty of photo updates, which gave me total peace of mind, and it was clear she was getting so much love and attention. I’ll absolutely be booking with them again and will be recommending them to any friends who need a caring, reliable dog sitter!

Simply amazing. Best rover ever bar none. Took care of my elderly dog while out of state. When my dog got sick, she could have said “i didnt sign up for this” and requested we return and take our dog. Instead, she volunteered to take my dog to the vet twice to make sure he had the care he needed while we were states away. Excellent with communication, we would have been in a precarious situation with most everyone else. Cant thank her enough. Highly recommended!!!

I couldn’t ask for someone better to watch my Luna. I had to go out of the country and leaving your baby with someone with little contact takes a lot of trust. She also had to deal with pick ups and drop offs with someone other than me. She was awesome with Luna and I felt completely safe leaving her there. Thank you Alexandra for taking care of my Luna!

I had Paula board my dog Cocoa Bean for a couple days while my wife and I were out of town. Paula was super responsive and did great with Cocoa Bean too. I highly recommend her to anyone in this area looking for a rover.

I have been so grateful for the love and care Jesse, Emily, and their sweet girls gave to Doc while I was away. The daily photos, news about his activities, and assurance that he was thriving helped me feel more relaxed on my vacation. Doc was clearly very happy and well cared for. I highly recommend Jesse and Emily as pet sitters!

Debbie is wonderful! They have a HUGE yard for dogs to play in. They love dogs and treated ours like one of their own. About a 30 minute drive from Charlottesville to give your dog a farm vacation! Worth the drive.

Robin was very responsive, had a great facility, and exuded warmth and love for pups! I'm pretty sure our boy is looking forward to spending time with her and his friends again <3

Lindy was very organized and responsive to texts. She clearly wanted my dog to have an excellent experience and was communicative with me about my dog’s needs.

Tamara was wonderful with buddy…helped him learn to use a leash and helped him with his house training. I felt very comfortable with her watching him. I’ll definitely use her again if I need a sitter! Thanks!

Seemed great with my dog! Kept me updated and was even able to keep her for a little longer last minute because of some travel issues.

Svitlana was so sweet with our new rescue. I felt like Skye was in great hands. Svitlana kept us informed of Skye’s day. We can highly recommend Svitlana!

This morning, I picked up my floof, Miss Delta. She was skeptical about coming home with me because she loved her time with Nadia so much. All day long, my dog kept giving me the side eye and saying things like: “Nadia would have let me stay outside longer.” And “Nadia would let me play in my own personal doggy pool.” And finally “Is that all the cheese I get? Nadia would give me more.” At that point I told Miss Delta if she loved Nadia so much she could go live there. My dog asked me if I was driving or if she had to walk. So, that backfired. In the end I had to promise Delta she could stay with Nadia every time we left town and she seems satisfied…for now. She did ask me to start planning another trip. Miss Delta absolutely loved her stay and so did I. I received plenty of updates and pictures. She was also so patient with Delta that first day when she was struggling to be away from home for the first time. I highly recommend Nadia (and so does my floof.)

This was my first time using a pet sitter, so I was a little nervous — but Ava completely put me at ease! From the start, she was so friendly, excited, and genuinely caring toward my furry baby. Her communication was amazing — she always responded quickly and sent daily photos and updates, which made me feel so comfortable. Ava is reliable, flexible, and super accommodating, and you can really tell she loves what she does. My pup was happy, well cared for, and clearly loved spending time with her. I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience — I’ll definitely be booking Ava again!!

Oscar was well cared for by Hillary and her family. We could tell that Oscar was well loved there. Hillary sent photos and updates while Oscar was there. Looking forward to using Hilary again to care for our pup when we need to travel. Thank you so much!

This was our first time boarding our dog through Rover. And we are beyond HAPPY and impressed with Zach. He is very knowledgeable and his whole demeanor and attitude put my worries at ease. Zach kept communicating through text, videos and pictures to let us see how Mercy was doing with him while we were away. We plan on using Zach every time we need to board our dog if he is available. I would give him 10 stars if it were possible. Having someone not only watching your dog but making sure she was comfortable and able to enjoy her stay while there with him was great.
