Dog Boarding in Powhatan

Christine and Matthew were amazing caretakers for my pup while I was on vacation. My pup had recently had TPLO surgery, so she had many special needs. Christine and Matthew were not frightened about those and their home was perfect for her needs. There are no distractions in their home (such as young children or other pets) and they only take one animal at a time. Their home is clean and pet friendly. I got text messages every day (sometimes more than once daily) with pictures to let me know how my baby was doing. I highly recommend them! They were very easy to communicate with from start to finish. When my pup came home, all of her things were nearly packed and Christine didn’t even roll her eyes with my 5 pages of typed instructions!

Courtney was an excellent sitter for my senior schnauzer. She kept me updated and sent me pics of him daily. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her for your fur baby day care!

Knox had a great time staying with Falen. Knox is quite demanding and Falen was able to accommodate all of Knox's request. He likes to sleep in the bed and to wake up early. Not a problem for Falen. Knox came home and needed two days to recover from all of the fun he had with Falen.

Donna's exceptional care for our little guy, Peeta, was truly remarkable. She kept us updated with regular check-ins, pictures, and updates before and during Peeta’s stay. Despite unforeseen travel complications, Donna went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and ensure Peeta's well-being. Since returning home, it's evident that he received an abundance of love and attention. We wholeheartedly recommend Donna and will definitely choose her for Peeta's future boarding needs.

Marketa was amazing! I was getting married and we needed a last minute sitter and she accepted within 20 minutes of me contacted her! She also accepted with only 48 hours in advance. She was so good about taking pictures of my sweet pup and she was so sweet with her. If you live in forest or Lynchburg I 100% recommend Marketa!

Can’t recommend Maggie enough! She was incredibly kind and flexible. My pup had a wonderful time, and she sent me numerous pictures and updates. I will be using Maggie again!

She is so nice and very accommodating. My puppy enjoyed her time with her.

Joleen was great and friendly. Allow us to come before to make sure the pets would be okay at her home. She also send me pictures of them and how they were doing. I would definitely book with her again.

Bella was well taken care of. We received pictures every day, which gives you peace of mind. I think she's missing the fun of playing with the other dogs and kitties. Any questions asked were replied to quickly. A great family. Everything was well organized to avoid any misunderstandings. I would definitely recommend and plan on keeping them for future needs.

Thalita and her family are so sweet with my Bodhi. Her daughter calls my pup “my-Bodhi” Bodhi always comes back happy and tired from play and cuddles from the little ones. Thalita is very conscientious about my guidelines for Bodhi. She lets me know if he’s doing well and I get photo updates during the stay. All these little things make me feel comfortable about my choice to overnight board with her family. ❤️

Maddie was very communicative and provided top notch care!

Hershey just spent over two weeks at the farm. The farm and all that comes with it is such a perfect place for her to socialize with the family, pets, and farm animals! She had never met a cow before! Holly and family took Hershey in and cared for her like she was their own. I felt perfectly at ease knowing she was in good hands while we were on the west coast. Received great photos and a video as well. Will definitely book future visits.

Took such great care of our dog and was very flexible! She sent multiple pictures and we knew she was having fun with their family!! Would definitely recommend and book with them again!!
