Dog Boarding in Rapidan

Nathan took great care of Oakley and kept me in the loop throughout his stay with pictures and updates on how Oakley was doing! Will definitely book with him again!

Cynthia was wonderful! She has a nice fenced yard with agility equipment that my dog loved to play on with her daughter, and she also took my dog out for long walks, including to a dog park. She has a very sweet dog and Rufus seemed right at home with her family.

Jon and Stephanie did a wonderful job taking care of our baby! Penny is spoiled with the run of the house and plenty of outdoor time. I highly recommend Jon and Stephanie for your fur baby.

Always a great experience with Charity. She cares for our pets as though they were her own. My pup loves going for a visit and I never worry about him there. Thanks Charity!

It is such a blessing knowing that I can leave my girl with someone that cares. I had a last minute important event and while Amber was willing to accept her, she was still careful to meet her and find if she would be a good fit with her other dogs before accepting, and I cannot stress how much I appreciate that. Cori took great care of Chester and Luna! Luna was very nervous the entire weekend as this was the first time she was being watched by someone other than family and Cori gave her a bit more TLC to ensure she was calm and relaxed until I picked her up. Will definitely be rebooking in the future! Thank you, Cori!!

Our dog, Lucy, always has such a great time at Fran’s house! She loves the attention she gets! Fran and her family are such a great hosts! We know that Lucy will be in the best care! Thank you Fran!

Paula was great with our dog, Zoe. We had a bad experience at a kennel a little over a year ago and we have been slowly resocializing Zoe with other dogs since then. Paula knew how to supervise her with the other dogs in the house so that Zoe got prolonged exposure and play time with them. Paula was very responsive any time I contacted her. We will definitely be repeat customers!

Did an amazing job, my dog was eager to go back from the meet and greet. She sent updates and pictures while we were gone. Honestly never had to worry about my dog which is a nice feeling while you’re away. Will continue to use in the future.

Charissa and Alex are absolutely amazing! While I was nervous at first to leave my super anxious, under-socialized dog who had only ever been boarded a couple times in the past, they were wonderful with her! She was with them for 7 days and Charissa and Alex both worked hard with her on leash manners, house manners/rules, socialization and ways to decrease her anxiety. I am now able to take her out in public more without her becoming overly anxious as she seems more confident in herself and with letting me take the lead. I can now walk her without her actually walking me and pulling me everywhere. I can walk her without her reacting to everything and anyone in our path. She’s more calm in our home and asks to initiate playtime by bringing a toy to me and waiting and to to go outside by barking by the door and them sitting and waiting for it to be opened. The difference in her after one week with them is incredible. We will be returning for more training and using them for some daycare days as well as boarding needs in the future. I can’t recommend Charissa, Alex and Poindexter Park enough!

Scott and Sara took Maxx in with little notice and became fast friends. They sent pictures and kept me notified of their adventures. Scott and Sara are the best and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

What began with one dog, soon became three! Heidi was willing and able to book us last minute accommodating our request. We really appreciate being able to leave them in the home of a loving family. I have every assurance that they were provided affection and protection.

Tanine, took my reservation at the very last moment, my text messages were immediately received and answered in record time. Photos of my “fur ball” displayed her playfulness, enjoyment, and relaxation. Her family welcomed Kiara in with open arms. I look forward to utilizing her services again!!! Excellent care!!!

This was our first Rover experience and first time boarding our 4 month old pup. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and we can't wait to bring Tank back the next time we need a place for him! Thank you, Diana!!

This was my first time using Svitlana and it was a wonderful experience. She was so kind and loving toward Chloe. I appreciated the texts and photos of Chloe. It was comforting to see how happy she was with Svitlana and I'm already booked to use her again.

My two dogs Brady & Zoey enjoyed their stay at Andrea's house they were happy and cheerful when we picked them up! They were so tired from all the playing that they slept all day! We will be using her again in the future!
