Dog Boarding in Ruckersville

Bertie and family are such a blessing for me! This is the second visit for Athena at Bertie’s and the next one is already booked. Can’t say enough!

Cynthia was wonderful! She has a nice fenced yard with agility equipment that my dog loved to play on with her daughter, and she also took my dog out for long walks, including to a dog park. She has a very sweet dog and Rufus seemed right at home with her family.

Aly was wonderful with our super anxious little pooch. She welcomed her into her home like one of her own and made her feel safe and loved. She even attempted to clean those crusty little things from around our dog's eyes. I couldn't ask for a more kind and patient sitter.

I have been so grateful for the love and care Jesse, Emily, and their sweet girls gave to Doc while I was away. The daily photos, news about his activities, and assurance that he was thriving helped me feel more relaxed on my vacation. Doc was clearly very happy and well cared for. I highly recommend Jesse and Emily as pet sitters!

Svitlana was so sweet with our new rescue. I felt like Skye was in great hands. Svitlana kept us informed of Skye’s day. We can highly recommend Svitlana!

Paula took excellent care of Ollie during our week away and was a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive to all of my communications and followed up quickly as well.

Paige was very calm and caring with my three pups. She gave me updates on their behaviors regularly. All appeared to have been well cared for. I would definitely use her as my sitter again.

Heather was a fantastic host for Sally the Sheepadoodle. In fact, we were afraid that Sally wasn't going to want to come home after all the attention and love from Heather and Co. Super responsive, flexible, attentive -- and great action shots of the pup! No doubt Sally can't wait to go over there again!

Millie enjoyed her time with Kara and her family. She was very accommodating with my last minute request and made me feel very comfortable leaving millie with her for the long weekend. She sent me pics and kept me updated and Millie is excited to go back and stay :)

Hope was the best sitter for our pup! I definitely will be re-booking in the future. We got ton of updates and photos of our dog while we were away and she was very flexible and understanding with pick up/drop off times.

Our girl was well taken care of and arrived back home happy and relaxed. Wonderful family.

James was friendly and flexible. Right away we felt comfortable leaving our Penny with him. He sent pictures to us so we knew she was happy and getting attention just like she would at home. We will definitely use James again.

Michael and his wife are very lovely and kind people. They were sure to ask lots of questions to better make our pup the most comfortable during the over the weekend stay at their home.

Omg words are just not enough…..Mark and Daniel were amazing sitters for my boys. They were so sweet and took extra care of my dogs. Their home was so nice and ready for the season dog friendly. Riley was excellent! Drop off and pick up was a breeze. She communicated well and provided lots of good updates and pictures of Hank's stay. Highly recommend!

We so appreciate the great care Ava took of sam (dog) and exxie (cat). They came back healthy and happy, and seemed to be so comfortable with Ava, which is big for our animals that spend all their time with us. Im so grateful for the trust we were able to have with her to be able to just enjoy our vacation worry free.

We have no worries about our nervous little dog when Rebecca is taking care of him! He has a blast with her dogs. We're happy that he's happy when we're away.

Jani and Paul were such a delight! Wimby had a great time with the other dogs and was incredibly well cared for! We can’t wait to visit with them again!
