Dog Boarding in Salem

Sam and her family kept my two pups Ollie and Tilley and they LOVED her! They played in the fenced yard, played with her pup Sadie (who is super sweet), had some homemade treats and got snuggles from her and her children. I HIGHLY recommend Sam! Thank you for taking care of my fur babies! Jen L

Shannon was great! I was nervous because we’ve never used a dog-sitting site, but had to due to our friend having a last-minute emergency. Shannon took great care of our 15-year-old Jack Russell during the week we were gone and sent us pictures and updates. It was great to find a home where our dog wouldn’t have to be crated. We definitely recommend Shannon!

Buns loved her stay with Emily. She made some new friends, and had a great time running around and playing in her backyard. Emily was also great about sending updates and pictures. Buns would definitely stay with Emily again next time she is in Roanoke!

Pebbles gets as excited to see Henry and Cheryle at their home as she does when she is returning to our home...so I think she really likes them!

John is a total gem! He took such good care of Zeus and sent me text/picture updates frequently, which was much appreciated. He was thorough and asked plenty of questions to make sure he kept up with Zeus's normal routine as much as possible, and he always checked with me before doing anything like taking him somewhere. It's quite obvious that he loves dogs and I felt totally comfortable leaving mine with him. I would absolutely have him dogsit for me again next time I'm out of town. Thank you so much, John!

Marah is literally the best sitter. She is so kind and loving with our dogs: we are crazy poodle people and don’t leave our dogs with anyone, and we are always comfortable leaving them with her. She responds immediately, and is always home with them. We don’t have to worry about them getting into trouble and she sends pictures of them playing outside with her dogs every day so we feel comfortable when we are away from them! Would recommend her to anybody, any time!! She even gave our dogs Christmas presents!!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We have had sitters come to our home before to take care of Ryker but we have never dropped him of any where. So I was nervous to say the least. Theresa was so kind, attentive, communicative, and inviting with my whole family and Ryker. She was patient with me when I stayed a little longer at drop off, she never made me feel rushed or unwanted. Ryker is a very hyper anxious dog in the beginning and she remained calm and reassuring that he would do great. She sent me pictures almost immediately after I got home showing me they were snuggled on the couch. We were going away to visit family and go to a wedding she sent updates and photos just the perfect amount of times in the day so I didn’t feel overwhelmed but still had a great sense of what he was doing and how he was doing. We came in late from our road trip and she couldn’t have been more understanding and kind about it. Driving home now and I know Ryker already misses her house. I will definitely use her in the future and highly recommend others to book her as well.

So kind and kept us up to date on our boys shenanigans. Fred was so happy when we picked him and I could tell he really liked being there with them.

Rebecca was great. She was available last minute. She sent me several pictures and updates of my pup while she had him. She took him on a lot of walks. He was worn out when he came home.

McKenanne was absolutely wonderful! She was able to accommodate our last-minute booking request without any issues. Lily was clearly very well taken care of and looked so happy in all the pictures we received. Communication was excellent—we really appreciated the daily updates. Highly recommended, and we would definitely book with her again!

I can’t say enough good things about Donna! She took such amazing care of my two precious pups, treating them like her own. From regular updates to extra cuddles, I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such loving hands. Lawdy was great! I had a last minute cancellation before vacation and she was quick to help me out! Periodic updates and pictures. Would use her again!

Dave was fantastic! He was very accommodating and I felt comfortable leaving a young high energy dog with him. I would definitely recommend Dave!

Crystal was very flexible with our schedule which changed on the day of drop off and again on the pickup day, so fairly last minute. Crystal was very responsive, and our Anna did great in her care. We would definitely take our dog back to her again.

The absolute best people to watch the dogs! They are so friendly! My dog automatically took to them. They have a great home with a fenced in yard for the dogs to roam and play. Sent frequent photos and videos which I absolutely appreciated. Im sure my dog probably wants to move in with them, she thought she was in Vegas there. Very Highly recommended!

Pamela and Mark did a wonderful job keeping our sweet 6 month old puppy. She had so much fun playing with the other puppies. Crosbie became a little frightened at night in her crate, so they put her crate in their bedroom with their puppy so she would feel secure. They also have a beautiful home with lots of land for the dogs to take long walks. She came home in great spirits and they were excellent at sending lots of pictures and communicating with us. I would highly recommend them!

Gretchen was excellent with Prince and very communicative throughout the week Prince stayed with her. Prince is not used to being boarded and Gretchen was very patient with his adjustment period. We greatly appreciated how she treated Prince as if he was her own and he will most definitely be back when we need boarding service in the future!

Michele was great! Good communication, plenty of updates and photos, and also very friendly. She was very patient and understanding with my dog’s eating habits and the instructions I gave her. Sophie seemed very happy and healthy when I picked her up. My best Rover experience so far by a lot!

They took such good care of our boy while we were gone for a week! Plenty of pictures sent too. We hope to keep using them in the future for other trips!
