House Sitting in Sandston

Our first time using Rover. Saw Mallory had fantastic reviews so we decided to go with her. From the meet and greet to us returning from our trip, everything was great! Our pets took to her right away, she sent pics and updates throughout her stay, and our home was great when we returned. We will definitely be using Mallory again for future travels. We highly recommend her!

Alex was amazing. Our cats loved spending the week with Alex and they were great at sending cute pictures of the cats. We will ask Alex to watch the cats in the future.

Camryn took care of our dog and two cats. She kept them fed, happy, and healthy during our short trip. We were glad to know they were in good hands.

Charlotte is the absolute best. My dog is obsessed with her! She went above and beyond to make sure I had great updates & took my baby to the vet when she wasn’t feeling well. Riley was great! Responded to all messages quickly, sent photo updates and even video of my pups playing. Left our home clean just like no one had been there. Highly recommend Riley. Hoping to use her services again in the future!

Zuki (our whippet) got off leash while Victor was walking her, so I would recommend another dog walker if you have a sighthound or your dog pulls on the leash.

Kaycey was awesome! I had a work event and my sitter canceled on me at the last moment. But Kaycey saved the day and my pup was taken care of on a Saturday with such short notice! This was my first time using Rover or having a sitter and it was a great experience. Kaycey was professional and made me feel at ease while I was away. Thank you! 🐾

Sara was wonderful! She housesat and watched our 2 dogs and hedgehog for 6 nights. She was very communicative and sent pictures daily, which was a huge peace of mind. I will definitely book with Sara again!

I left home in a rush when my mom suddenly fell ill and went into hospice. Vijay rallied in 24 hours and stayed with Ace for 9 days. I had so much going on with my mom - it was great to know that Ace was with his new BFF Vijay and I didn't have to worry about him. Vijay took him to two puppy classes that I would have missed, had him microchipped for me, and took him to a vet appointment that I scheduled before I knew I'd be out of town. Not only is she great with Ace, but she's a kind, compassionate person who is flexible and remains calm when things (like my canceled flight to Charlottesville due to the snow storm!) change at the last minute. I can't imagine having anyone else stay with Ace!

Keith was highly communicative and flexible throughout our two weeks away! Our pup can be a handful sometimes but he was more than happy to cater to her needs and give us updates throughout his stay. We’re so happy we found Keith!

Alex was wonderful I had a wedding and needed to book someone last second. My dogs loved him. He was very nice, polite and responsive. I will definitely keep using Alex as a dog sitter whenever I go out of town.

Collete is great!!!! 10/10 I book with them every time. I've got two cats and two dogs and they handle it all easily. My place is always cleaned up when I get back and all the furbabies are so happy. Def recommend

Eddie was so sweet! He had his hands full with my two crazy dogs. Whippet mix and pitbull. Total different personalities. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our babies!

Prior to sitting, Christine did a meet and greet with my dog to make sure everyone felt comfortable. She also sent me daily photos and fun updates about how things were going, which was perfect. Every message I sent got a speedy response along the way. Once I arrived home, everything was spotless, too. Overall, I’d highly recommend Christine for any and all pet sitting needs!

Brittney house sat and stayed with our dog and cat for four nights, and she truly did an exceptional job from start to finish. She was incredibly attentive, responsible, and kind, and it was clear how much care she put into making sure our pets were happy and comfortable while we were away. She continuously kept us up to date with thoughtful messages and plenty of photos, which gave us complete peace of mind. When we returned, the house was even cleaner than when we left it, which speaks volumes about how thorough and respectful she is.
