Dog Boarding in Wares Crossroads

Nathan went above and beyond taking care of our 2 dogs while celebrating a wedding weekend states away! We had 0 concerns thanks to the many pictures and great communication! Highly recommend and will definitely use again when an occasion arrives.

Charissa is kind, prompt and very professional, I recommend her wholeheartedly! I was skeptical about using this app, and had previous issues with boarding my dog at overnight grooming salons in Charlottesville. My dog has separation anxiety and is a lap dog, so being in a cage with little to no attention doesn't work very well. I felt way more comfortable with having him in a loving home with space to run/walk and be monitored, and Charissa provided just that. She was able to send pictures and constant updates on his behavior, which is something you wont find in a typical boarding establishment. With previous boarders, I had to pay just to have him go for extra walks or be played with, and my dog always came back with stomach issues from eating other dogs food! There was no issue with my dogs behavior or stomach, after we picked him up. Charissa has a great set up with a large front and back yard and gated sections, so multiple dogs can be in her home securely and there are no issues with separation, at any time. This is great for disabled or older dogs who require less mobility. I would hope you give Charissa a try, you and your fur baby will not regret it!

Katina and Cheryl are great! We left our 1yo dog with them during the holiday break and they took great care of her. We received daily communication and they have a great place for the puppies.

Frodo was a happy boy when he came out with Amber. I had the impression that he would be happy to stay with her or come with me. This was the first time we have put Frodo with someone rather than have someone come to the house so I was very concerned about how it would go. He seemed to like the situation and was not starved for attention. I am very happy that Frodo was happy! I will be using Amber again to keep him.

Denise is great! Coco had the time of her life and is so worn out. ??? We loved the daily updates on how she was doing and what she was up to.

Praveen is literally the best when it comes to pet care! My dogs were not just taken care of—they were pampered, spoiled, and treated like VIPs. He made sure they were comfy, happy, and showered with attention. I swear they had their own little vacation while I was away! If you’re looking for someone who genuinely loves animals and treats them like family, Praveen is your guy. 10/10 recommend!

Larissa was so responsive and made sure I stayed updated on my little guy’s entire visit, I am definitely using her when I have to go out of town! He had a blast and he’s definitely gonna miss the furry friends he made :)

Molly loves spending time with Lindsay! She has been with her for longer periods of time this month and is learning new tricks and commands. Although it’s hard being away from Molly, I know she’s very well taken care of so I can travel for work without any worries at all.

I felt very comfortable leaving my dogs with Heather. It was apparent that she takes the care of your pet very seriously. She made it clear that our dogs would be part of her family during their stay. She sent pictures and was very timely in her responses. She made sure she understood their care and gave me updates. I would highly recommend her.

This was Dolly’s 1st Rover visit with Jesse, and we are very pleased and comfortable with Jesse’s care, pictures and communication with us throughout the 7 day visit. We initiated our reservation with a meet & greet with Jesse, and she answered every question/concern very well. We left with confidence that Dolly would be well kept, and after this visit, Jesse is our Go To Rover for future reservations with Rover. Thank you Jesse❣️

Robin is awesome! We received lots of photos and videos of our puppy throughout his stay which put our minds at ease since this was our first time leaving him with someone. He was just how we left him when we picked him up: happy, healthy and full of energy! Thanks Robin, We have found our doggy daycare!

Jessica (and family) is amazing! Our little puppy, Oliver, had an absolute blast! He loves people and other dogs, so it was perfect for him. He got tons of playtime and snuggles. Jessica made sure to keep us up to date on how he was doing and sent tons of pictures and videos. She's our go to for not just boarding but puppy daycare too.

Zach was great with Bella and Bodhi. He responded quickly to my daily check in’s and sent pics of our pups as well! They’re not used to being away from us but we could tell they were happy with Zach. Knowing Bella and Bodhi were in good hands allowed us to relax during our vacay! We’ll definitely book with Zach again when the time comes!!!

We went through a few different sitters before we found Warren and his family. Our 18 month puppy can be a lot to handle but they always welcome him with open arms. He is definitely part of the family when there and we won’t use anyone else.

Our Corgi had a great time staying with Laura and her pups. She has a large fenced in property and our little guy returned home good and tired from playing with her dogs. Will definitely contact Laura next time he needs looking after!

I couldn't have asked for a better person to keep my puppy! She provided pictures throughout the visit assuring he was fine. This was my first time using Rover, I chose a winner in Crystal. 10 out 10 recommend Crystal!!

Aly was fantastic from the very start of our communication to after we picked up our Oreo from her care. She was very responsive to any correspondence, offered a visit to her home ahead of our departure to make sure Oreo was comfortable and that the relationship would be a good fit for all and exceeded all of our expectations for his care. She promised consistent communication and daily photos, which she did throughout his 7 day stay with Aly and her family. Her home and her arrangement was perfect for us and we feel we have found a friend and a loving caretaker to give us peace of mind that our Oreo is safe and sound in our absence. She quickly welcomed him into her family and gave him a home away from home. All of our requests and expectations were met and she exceeded a 5-star rating! Thank you Aly and family!!!
