House Sitting in West McLean

Our cat is super shy and tends to hide or leave the house when visitors come. Kayly must be a soft walker/talker because she was able take two photos of him with eyes open,but chill. Those photos really improved my level of chill as well

Elizabeth was great with house sitting my 2 dogs. She was attentive and informative through out our entire trip. My 15 yr pom who is stand-offish warmed up sooner than I thought she would. We are very happy with all she did for my pups and we look forward to having her stay with them again.

Kevin was an absolute dream as a house and dog sitter. I felt so comfortable leaving my dog Maggie with him and he did an amazing job taking care of her while we were gone for 10 days. He communicated frequently, with plenty of pictures of her, which eased my anxiety. He went out of his way to make sure she was comfortable, cared for and happy. I’d highly recommend him, and he has become my first choice for watching her in the future when we go away.

Renee took excellent care of our dog, fish, plants and house for a 2+ week trip we took. She went above and beyond looking after our house and having it and a washed and brushed dog ready for our return! We appreciated the photos she sent to keep us updated on our dog.

Danielle did a great job caring for our 12-year-old Weimaraner. She took our baby on multiple walks per day, communicated with us daily, and respected all our house rules. She was caring and trustworthy. Our pup enjoyed her time with Danielle. Highly recommended.

Jennifer was fantastic, once again. She took great care of Chase and was very communicative.

Lilly was a great house-sitter for our two dogs. She was a wonderful communicator and sent frequent updates. We will definitely use Lilly again in the future!

Our experience with Juan was excellent. He spent quality time with our cat, Simba, ensuring he was fed on schedule, the litter box was kept clean, and Simba got plenty of playtime. He was very flexible with our expectations and extremely attentive. His regular updates, along with photos and videos, gave us great peace of mind. We would absolutely book him again and highly recommend him.

I would absolutely hire Karachi again. The dogs were happy and calm when I got home which is a very good indicator for my two dogs. The house was in excellent shape and she even did the sheets.

Rosemary was great with our pets. She watched them during the winter storm and had great communication throughout the weekend. Even had flexibility when our flight back was iffy. Both our cat and dog took to her right away, and were happy and well taken care of when we got back. We really appreciated Rosemary and would book again!

This was our first experience with Rover. Erica visited Dougal at our house before we left for vacation to get acquainted and familiarize herself with everything. During our overseas trip Erica provided us with periodic updates and photographs of Dougal who looked happy and content (I think he enjoyed the attention). The house was clean and tidy when we returned and Erica had put out the recycling. Dougal was happy and excited to see us. Based on our experience we recommend Erica and look forward to connecting with her again the next time we are away from home and need a house/dog sitter. Thank you Erica!

At the outset of our two week trip, we were worried that our almost 15 year old mixed breed would decline in health and perhaps need vet care. All part of the natural aging process, but we were concerned. Jane was a fantastic caregiver for Dora, attending to her needs and medications, providing companionship, and keeping her safe in a contained part of the house. I’m sure it wasn’t easy, sort of caring for an invalid in a way, but Dora was in great health and good spirits when we returned home. She and Jane bonded so well that we’re not sure how much Dora missed us - which was a good thing. We really appreciated Jane’s attentive care, giving us peace of mind while we were away.
