Dog Boarding in Whitlock Estates

My husband and I visited Richmond this past weekend for our anniversary and wanted a dog sitter that was close by to where we were staying. We found Angela through her great reviews on Rover, and were so happy we chose her to watch our dog, Mallie, for the weekend! She sent a ton of updates throughout Mallie's stay, lots of photos of their walks, snuggle time, and playing, and let us know if she had any questions regarding Mallie's care. My husband and I were so happy that we left Mallie with such a caring sitter and we will absolutely be booking Angela again for future trips to Richmond.

Raye was an absolutely wonderful sitter! She was super thorough--sent lots of pictures, went over instructions with me, and showed me around her place before I dropped off my pup. I would absolutely recommend her, especially for first-time Rover users!

Jay was very nice and accommodating. I received frequent communication throughout the stay including pics and videos. You can tell she enjoys taking care of your pet. I'll definitely use her again.

Jonathan sent great pics and videos of Bunji playing and running; eating and bleary eyed. B had a great time w Jonathan and his dogs. He came home tired which is great, as he is high energy. Walks and play with dogs are his favorite things. Thank you Jonathan for your kind care.

Matt is AMAZING!!! My dog had the best time at his place, where he has everything doggy proof and a nice backyard for the dogs to play! He also sends amazing updates and pictures! My dog will for sure be a regular with Matt! Thank you again Matt!!! :)

Tate had a great time with John and all the dogs he watched thoses days. They all got along.. and he has a great set up for the dogs. I was a peace with Tate staying there. I'm very well please and you can tell he cares and loves each dog that comes in his home..

Dorothy was a phenomenal sitter! She sent photos of my dog every day and was responsive to any questions I had. Sookie came back happy and tired- which was a huge relief for me.

As a Rover user, I encountered a challenge in finding a pet sitter with a clean and suitable space for my pet. However, I was fortunate to come across Sarah, who not only has a lovely home but also possesses excellent interpersonal skills. She, along with her adorable baby, warmly welcomed my cat Roxxy into their family. Throughout Roxxy's stay, Sarah sent me pictures of her, which was greatly appreciated.

Michelle is our go-to sitter in Richmond. She is absolutely the best and sends so many pics and updates when we’re away and miss our pup! Moose loves being there with her dog, Milo who is such a good boy!

We recently board Mia with Hilary for the first time while we went out of town for the weekend. We were worried to leave Mia since she's such a high energy pup with slight separation anxiety. During our meet & greet, Mia enjoys the big fenced yard and we went through all caring details. This really made us feel a lot more secure about going out of town. Hilary took great care of Mia during her stay! We receive picture & massage updates to reassure us Mia is being well taken care of. Mia was really happy in all picture updates. We both think the price is very reasonable and a considerable value for the high quality service we received. Highly recommended!

Donetta was amazing in her care for my senior dog Chrissy. She was very knowledgeable about her medical condition, she understood the level of attention that my dog would need, and she regularly kept me posted on what her activities were. I had no worries about my dog’s safety, and I was even able to relax while I was away. When I picked her up, she was relaxed and content. I would gladly recommend Donetta’s services, especially if you have a senior, or a pup with health issues. She’s so accommodating and so pleasant, and I will absolutely be using her again. My dog Babe is a fairly sensitive and emotional dog. I was really worried that she would wear on the sitterys patience. Babe had such a great time with Amber and her family. Amber was very attentive and responsive to my texts as well as super accommodating of my time constraints. I would absolutely recommend Amber to anyone who is looking for a responsible, considerate, attentive sitter for their fur baby.

I was very nervous about being away from Baby Jax for the first but Spoiled Pups made it worry free. They keep you very informed and in the loop throughout the day with your babies. There is no other place Jax will ever stay when I have to be away. Thanks for making our first experience a memorable one.

Shay and her family were amazing sitters for my dog, Eloise. They checked in daily with details about the day and photos of the different activities they did with her. I know they showed her tons of love and care; I never had to worry a bit. I knew my pup was in great hands the whole time I was out of town!

Alex was so great with my senior pup. She’s a bit particular with her feeding needs and is hard of hearing, and she accommodated to her so well. I received daily pictures and updates about how my girl was doing, and get very comfortable that my dog was in great hands!

Our dogs, Coco and Jonah, stayed with Abby and her family for two weeks in July 2024. They were comfortable and well cared for. While we were gone, temperatures outside were excessive and they were kept inside a lot, although they did go outside and had freedom in the back yard. She has a very secure fence. We were a little concerned that they would be with her over July 4th, since Jonah especially is terrified of the fireworks. Abby gave them their anxiety meds for that, and for some thunder storms that came through, along with extra attention and they did fine. She sent us several pictures showing them to be the couch potatoes that they are, getting along well with her family. I'm sure they were spoiled and comfortable, and would not hesitate to leave them with Abby in the future.

Fantastic experience! Arlo was well taken care of and Nicole sent several pictures and videos of him while we were away. She is great with dogs and he was very comfortable with her. Will definitely use again!

I felt so comfortable and welcomed as soon as I dropped off my two fur babies. During our time away Jennifer was so wonderful at sending pictures of them doing what they do best playing and lounging. Thank you so much Jennifer for taking such good care of my babies. We are definitely going to be repeat customers and are excited to vacation more in the future knowing that I have a safe and fun place for my dogs to stay. My sweet Buttercup stayed with Amy a little over 2 weeks which is the longest I’ve ever been without her. I felt very comfortable being away from the meet and greet, daily picture and video updates, and my girl seeming like she wasn’t ready to leave upon pick up. She appeared to have such a great time and made tons of furry friends. I definitely would 10/10 recommend!
