Dog Boarding in Woodvale

Our dogs, Coco and Jonah, stayed with Abby and her family for two weeks in July 2024. They were comfortable and well cared for. While we were gone, temperatures outside were excessive and they were kept inside a lot, although they did go outside and had freedom in the back yard. She has a very secure fence. We were a little concerned that they would be with her over July 4th, since Jonah especially is terrified of the fireworks. Abby gave them their anxiety meds for that, and for some thunder storms that came through, along with extra attention and they did fine. She sent us several pictures showing them to be the couch potatoes that they are, getting along well with her family. I'm sure they were spoiled and comfortable, and would not hesitate to leave them with Abby in the future.

I absolutely love this family! Super friendly! Very welcoming! Took such good care of my girl! And let joy even herd their goats! I most definitely would recommend them! We can’t wait for out next trip!!! Thank you!

Dylan and Alex are amazing!!! My furbaby was so comfortable with them! My boy is really shy but from the picture updates I received you wouldn’t know it! They treated him like their own and they actually got him to eat and that’s a chore in itself. I had to change my pick up time and they were so flexible and accommodating for me. My baby was very happy with them. Myles will definitely be back! Thank you Dylan and Alex!!

Again, another pleasant experience! I left my pups with Jay for our weekly vacation. This was their longest stay to date. Jay made sure she sent lots of pics and kept me informed each day. You can tell she really loves what she does. Thanks again!

Tracey is a genuine and caring pet sitter. This was my first time having a sitter for my precious fur baby and she made me feel so comfortable. She updated me throughout the day and sent me pics. He was always so happy like he was having an extended play date. Beau will definitely be back to visit and I highly recommend her services.

Tate had a great time with John and all the dogs he watched thoses days. They all got along.. and he has a great set up for the dogs. I was a peace with Tate staying there. I'm very well please and you can tell he cares and loves each dog that comes in his home..

We love "Aunt" Bethany! She always communicates in a timely manner and constantly sends pics and videos of my fur baby when he is having the best time in her care!

Adam and Amanda made sure our very shy dog had a good experience while she was at their home for an extended stay. Our dog was happy and healthy when we picked her up. They also allowed us to pick her up late in the evening after our flight. It’s obvious that their whole family loves dogs.

He was very patient with Tucker who is shy and nervous around everyone new. During his stay Tucker had some fleas on him and volunteered and bathes him twice which goes beyond what most would do. Great care of my rescue pet and to say I had to book him last minute I would give him a 6 out of 5 if I could.

This was my second time using the rover app and first time having my pup boarded through the app. The experience could not have been any better. Charlotte sent updates, photos, and videos everyday and made my pup, who is very shy, feel right at home. If you are new to the rover app and are looking for a person who will truly look after your dog like they are their own, Charlotte is the perfect choice.

My husband and I visited Richmond this past weekend for our anniversary and wanted a dog sitter that was close by to where we were staying. We found Angela through her great reviews on Rover, and were so happy we chose her to watch our dog, Mallie, for the weekend! She sent a ton of updates throughout Mallie's stay, lots of photos of their walks, snuggle time, and playing, and let us know if she had any questions regarding Mallie's care. My husband and I were so happy that we left Mallie with such a caring sitter and we will absolutely be booking Angela again for future trips to Richmond.

Mariah was amazing. She helped me out in a pinch and provided a fun, safe space for my pup. Bonus: she only lives 5 min away. Definitely recommend and will book again!

Lisa was phenomenal with my big goof. Consistent communication and plenty of pictures. Paid thorough attention to special instructions and asked plenty of questions to ensure a smooth transition. Klaus spent a week in her home boarding. Although Klaus is super docile and low maintenance, a 170lb dog takes confidence and professionalism to manage. She has both and more. HIGHLY recommend and will use again. Don't hesitate with Lisa. She is great!!!

Last min booking saved my travel plans. Then my a catrostrophic thing happened while I was traveling and Abreya helped me by keeping my dog an extra day. Knowing my fur baby was safe and comfortable with her was the only thing that kept me going. I will be a repeat customer for sure

Raye was an absolutely wonderful sitter! She was super thorough--sent lots of pictures, went over instructions with me, and showed me around her place before I dropped off my pup. I would absolutely recommend her, especially for first-time Rover users!
