Dog Boarding in Ames Lake

Sarah took amazing care of our puppy Simba while we were away for 10 days. She caught and addressed some surprise medical needs that popped up during his stay, and constantly kept us in the loop about his health. Simba loved his stay we could tell from the daily pictures from Sarah that he had lots of fun. We will absolutely be reaching back out to Sarah the next time we need to board Simba!

Great experience for Hazel as usual. Besides being lovingly cared for she is learning the idea of playing with another dog! Enrichment bonus!

My two dogs stayed with Ariana for the weekend and they came back home happy and tired :) I loved getting pictures of them playing with the other dogs, was a nice reminder that they were doing just fine while we were away. I'm super glad we found Ariana!

Kellie was so nice and welcoming to us. She opened up her house to our two golden retrievers and treated them as family. We received daily updates via text and she sent videos of the dogs playing. We will definitely be using Kellie in the future.

Lisa is the best ever! She takes our dog on the most exciting adventures, socializes her with other dogs and people, and most importantly gives her all the love and attention she deserves. My dog even came back home washed and smelling amazing. If you’re looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter, I highly recommend Lisa!

Kevin’s family were wonderful hosts for my little Jack Russell. They sent the cutest pictures or videos every day and I could tell my dog was having a great time. I was worried he wouldn’t want to come home with me!

Patricia has been a wonderful care taker for my dog, Bear! She was very good about sending lots of pictures and updates during his stay. I would highly recommend booking with her if you want a loving home for your pup while you’re away.

Chris is amazing! He gave us daily updates, and sometimes multiple updates in a day. I could tell that our dog was well taken care of, and treated like a family member. We will definitely be using him again to watch our dog for us!

We wouldn’t be able to travel for a month if Riitta were not there to look after Bebe. She is an amazing person and cares for each dog individually. Bebe is looking forward to seeing her again.

Helen was very professional but also personable, especially since I didn't follow instructions, she was still very amiable (don't just read what Rover.com sends via txt message, you need to read the whole message from Helen for instructions at rover.com). My family felt that Jagger was taken care of and Helen sent texts and a picture while we were away. Thank you!

Karen was great with looking after Charlie and making him feel welcome in her home! Also I made an error with date for collecting Jim and she graciously made no issue with having him and extra day. Would highly recommend and will definitely use her again for Charlie!

Leah and Kenneth did a great job of dogsitting our 4-yr old doodle. They were friendly, quick to respond, and shared cute pics of our pooch to help us feel confident that he was in good hands. They have a beautiful home, yard and neighborhood. I would totally recommend them and use their services again. Thank you for taking care of my baby during our weekend getaway.

Yo-Ju was amazing! She sent me pictures everyday of my doggies and told me about their days. She was kind and patient with them. My senior dogs had an amazing time. I would recommend her to anyone who needs to have their doggies watched and cared for.

This was our first experience with a Rover sitter -- and fortunately we were lucky to have Yuting watch our canine family member for a few days! She was very prompt with responding to our questions and inquiries, and is very friendly, kind. and flexible. She sent daily pictures of our dog; gave him daily walks; and I'm sure he thoroughly enjoyed his stay with her! He looked very happy and comfortable in all of his pictures:) We would definitely use Yuting again and recommend her services.

Sherry and her family did an amazing job dog sitting our poodle terrier mix. We have always used boarding services in formal settings like PetSmart and were a bit nervous about leaving Georgie with a family we did not know. We are so happy we chose to take a chance with Sherry. She provided pictures of Georgie living his best life in her home :) Georgie was the only dog in her home and he was allowed on the bed and couch like he is in our home. To top it off, Sherry came to our home to pick up and drop off Georgie and was on time and communicative. We would definitely book a stay for Georgie again with Sherry (if she’s willing to deal with his annoying barking at rabbits again!)

Melissa was great! She was able to accommodate both our pups last minute which we reeeaaallllyyyyy appreciated. On top of that, seemed like Mackenzie and Sammy were having a blast! I loved all the pics and communication coming through. I will definitely be back :) thanks Melissa!
