House Sitting in Canterwood

Katiana did a wonderful job sitting our 2 big dogs and our chickens, and managing our sustainable homestead. Communication was excellent, she was flexible when the schedule changed last minute, and the house was immaculate when we returned.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would for Jennifer! She was absolutely incredible with my two pups! They loved her immediately upon first meeting her. She is always immediately responsive to any communication. She overloaded me with videos and pictures of my pups, which I absolutely adored! I will have no hesitation to use Jennifer’s services again!

Christina is an amazing sitter! She takes the time to meet with you if in person there are any changes to the care plan and makes notes to be sure everything your furry friends need will be taken care of. I can tell how much my animals enjoy her, especially the day or two after she leaves when they vocalize how little they think I am doing for them 🙄😂. I will be rebooking for sure!

Megan was outstanding! She took a last minute overnight booking to take care of our cats and feed our chickens. I couldn’t have been more pleased with her timeliness and communication from the meet and greet to her keeping me informed throughout her stay. Most importantly, our cats were well cared for - she really connected with them.

Megan was amazing! She was able to look after our 3 dogs last minute after our buddy who was suppose to look after them fell ill. She was very communicative and sent lots of photos. We are incredibly thankful for her help!

Anne did a wonderful job house sitting and loving on our little rescue mutt Ziggy. She kept me well informed with updates and pictures, and Ziggy looked so happy and well cared for. Anne went above and beyond to make sure all of Ziggy's needs were met. I have a feeling that Anne gave Ziggy more attention and walks than I would have when I'm home! We will definitely hire her again and again.

Melissa is incredible. I felt so much trust in her with my girls on a long trip and they took to get instantly. She took great care of them and my home and gave me lots of updates. Will happily use her services again!

Mollie is absolute GOLD! She has done an excellent job house sitting for us and has been very flexible to drop in on short notice to take care of our dog Abby. We are thrilled that Abby has a new best friend!

Hannah was amazing with Chief! She took very good care of him while he was scared and anxious. I would highly recommend Hannah for any dog sitting! She sent pictures every day and made sure to keep us updated on how he was doing!

This was my first Rover experience in almost 10 years. Our 16yo terrier just wasn’t a great fit at her kennel anymore so we connected with Keleia. Trusting someone you don’t know with your home and pet is a big ask and she did just great. Keleia is calm and quiet and I think our dog Shelby appreciated that energy. Jerry took great care of my 9 year old lab Oakley, and Baby Huck (puppy) as well as our house and yard. I loved how he took the dogs to the beach and spent time with them outdoors. Jerry is professional and communicates clearly. He exceeded our expectations.

Teagan has been, without a doubt, the most kind, attentive, and supportive dog and cat sitter we have ever had. From the very beginning, she took the time to truly understand each of our animals and their individual personalities, routines, and needs. Her knowledge and experience in pet care were immediately evident and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Our dog struggles with anxiety and separation issues, and Teagan went above and beyond to make sure she felt safe, comfortable, and cared for. She approached her needs with patience, compassion, and confidence, which made a world of difference for her—and for us. She was also incredibly attentive to our cats, ensuring they were well cared for and comfortable throughout her time with them. One of the things we appreciated most was her consistent communication. Teagan kept us regularly updated with messages and check-ins, letting us know how our animals were doing and reassuring us that they were in great hands. It was clear that she genuinely cares about the well-being of the animals she looks after. We felt completely confident leaving our pets in Teagan’s care and would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a trustworthy, knowledgeable, and compassionate pet sitter. We truly cannot say enough good things about her.

Bri and Jamal were fantastic with our senior dog. They took great care of her. They left our house as clean as it was before and we could not recommend them more.

We went on vacation and so did our 2 dogs! I was very excited to leave my dogs with Khaytlen because I instantly liked Khaytlen after the initial meet and greet and was really excited for our dogs to establish a relationship with someone as impressive as Khaytlen. They had the most fun boarding! Our dogs were so happy with her. We constantly had communication and updates and she treated them like her own. My younger dog Xolo (4) needed a strong confident leader because of his personality and his reactivity and she trained with him everyday he was with her. I’ve never seen him so comfortable with someone outside our family. Her knowledge and experience with dominant dog breeds is extremely valuable and helpful. My older dog Cujo (11) needed company and affection and she of course delivered as well as lots of stimulation for both him and Xolo. I have nothing but good things to say and I have absolutely no feedback whatsoever or regrets.

We can highly recommend Mimi and David for excellent cat care and house sitting. Our two cats are a bit aloof, but Mimi & David managed to bond with The Boys. The cats were healthy & happy when we returned. They managed a few visits from home & garden helpers while we were away. Our home was bright and clean upon our return. We appreciated their updates on the cats, including photos. Many thanks to them for the care & attention they gave our cats & our home.

Brooklyn is absolutely amazing! She is very responsive and was prompt to the meet and greet. I loved that she had reviewed our animals prior to and came informed. Right away both me and our animals were at ease with her. Maverick is our anxious one and came right in and up to her!! While we were gone, great communication. We were so thankful for her care. I’m hoping she’s our new go to pet sitter!

Jasmine and Brandt were amazing and really treated our dogs like they were their own. They cuddled with them, went outside and played, picked up all dog poop, even slept with them. They were perfect. Even with our dog that has cancer, they made sure he had all his medication on time. Our dogs were very happy.

Maria did a fantastic job watching Oliver for the first time. He was clearly well cared for and happy when we returned. She also took great care of our home, leaving everything just as we left it. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible and thoughtful pet sitter.

Erica was the best. She was calm and sweet with our two excitable Labradoodles and communicated well during the evening. Our Doodles loved her! She was sensitive to their needs and followed our instructions well. It was New Years Eve and it can be loud around our house so we were glad to have her with our “Girls. Will definitely have her again.
