House Sitting in Crystal Springs

Max was super responsive and sent me frequent updates on my pup, including pics! I felt confident and comfortable that she would take care of my pup and home well.

We never have to worry when our dog and home are being cared for by Anna. We couldn’t be more grateful for her. Amazing sitter and our dog adores her!

Gabby did a perfect job of watching our house and our two kitties who are less than a year old. She regularly sent pictures and updates, and asked questions when appropriate. This was the first sitter I have booked through Rover, so I was a little nervous before I met her, but I never once felt like I had to wonder how the kitties were doing while we were away. We will definitely be returning customers for our next trip.

Katherine was awesome! She took very good care of our furry baby and our home while we were gone. Will definitely hire her again!

Evan was perfect. From the moment I met him I felt 100% at ease leaving my family of 4 with him for a week. He sent me photos and updates on all the animals throughout my trip. His communication was thoughtful and his responses were almost immediate any time I reached out to him. He clearly loves animals and gets how stressful it is to leave them. One of my dogs had some tricky medication needs and I can tell she was well taken care of on that front and has improved in the week that I was gone. I was most concerned that my animals would seem anxious when I returned because I have never left them before but they are as chill as can be and not traumatized in the slightest. It is obvious that Evan took really good care of them. Additionally, my house looked exactly like it did when I left. No small feat when watching four animals. It was really nice to come home to a clean house. Evan even bought some extra food when we ran out (apparently I had miscalculated), so I didn’t have to run to the store the minute I got back from my trip which was a huge relief after traveling for 9 hours. I highly recommend Evan!

Penny was an absolute godsend this weekend. She took marvelous care of our puppy who is recovering from a broken leg and is on several medications. Her calming effect on Kobe, experience working with many children and her training as a veterinary assistant put us at ease enough to leave him home while we took an important trip. Penny communicated quickly and clearly through out the process and it was clear she cared very much about our sweet puppy. We highly recommend Penny and are incredibly grateful to her!

Melissa was wonderful with our very shy elderly pup Lulu. She worked very hard to develop a calm and trusting environment to get our old girl out of her shell. Lulu was very happy to see us when we arrived home, settled nicely and showed no signs of stress from our 5 day absence. We are so pleased with Melissa’s interaction with us and Lulu that we have scheduled her again and will plan our future vacations around Melissa’s schedule. Thank you Melissa!

Peggy is awesome! Lola was hesitant to meet a new person but with Peggy’s patience and love, Lola found a new human to love. Peggy was great in letting us know how it’s going, sending us pictures and making us feel comfortable all the way around. You will be lucky to have Peggy watch your pet!

Babies were happy and well taken care of as always. Jordan sent pictures and updates regularly and managed our cat’s craziness even though he was being especially energetic this weekend!

Valerie did a great job house sitting with my dog! She’s older, has medication and anxiety and I felt very comfortable being gone for the weekend knowing she was taken care of. Would definitely recommend Valerie!

Jacob was amazing with my pups!! They instantly took a liking to him (though they are usually wary of strangers). He was communicative, patient and trustworthy. I am definitely going to try to have him as our regular sitter. He is the BEST!!

She did an amazing job with our puppers! They can be difficult to handle but she did it with ease and a smile on her face! Her attention to care and love of animal was evident and we will be hiring her again!

Adam was great at watching my two bassets and cat! One of the biggest things for me that mattered was communication. He was quick to respond and send updates. I got daily pictures and updates on how my pets were doing and even on their walks. Also, I really appreciated that Adam was willing to meet with me, and meet my dogs and cat, twice before I went on my trip. He really put my mind at ease knowing the person I would be leaving alone with my pets in my home. He also put forth a lot of effort to work with my one dog who is very nervous around anyone new, to include leaving treats in her bed. While Adam stayed in my home, he was tidy and didn't leave a mess. Overall, it was a pleasure doing business with Adam and I wouldn't hesitate to contact him for any future trips I may take without my pets.
