House Sitting in Fox Island

Megan was amazing! She was able to look after our 3 dogs last minute after our buddy who was suppose to look after them fell ill. She was very communicative and sent lots of photos. We are incredibly thankful for her help!

Christina is an amazing sitter! She takes the time to meet with you if in person there are any changes to the care plan and makes notes to be sure everything your furry friends need will be taken care of. I can tell how much my animals enjoy her, especially the day or two after she leaves when they vocalize how little they think I am doing for them 🙄😂. I will be rebooking for sure!

Megan was outstanding! She took a last minute overnight booking to take care of our cats and feed our chickens. I couldn’t have been more pleased with her timeliness and communication from the meet and greet to her keeping me informed throughout her stay. Most importantly, our cats were well cared for - she really connected with them.

Brooklyn was terrific. My dogs adored her from our first meet and greet to the weekend she stayed with them. She sent pictures several times a day and I was confident that they were well cared for. I'll definitely re-book with her!

We are so incredibly lucky to have found Dawn. She has taken such great care of M&M for the past year that we have known her. I know that when we leave town they are in the best of hands. We would highly recommend Dawn if you are looking for someone who will love your pets as much as you do.

I can’t thank Halston enough for the incredible care he provided to our two senior mini poodles while house-sitting. It's never easy leaving older dogs, especially with their specific routines, dietary needs, and medications — but Halston handled everything with patience, passion, compassion, and professionalism. From our very first meet and greet, there was instant mutual trust. Halston was punctual, communicative, and consistently kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. His background as a veteran truly showed in his sense of responsibility and reliability. I trusted him completely — not just with my dogs, but also with my home. Everything was spotless when I returned, and exactly as I left it. I’ll absolutely have Halston back again. He’s a dependable, thoughtful sitter who treated my pups (and my house) like his own. Highly recommend — and please support our veterans!

Sierra was wonderful. Very communicative, timely and the 2 dogs and the cat all definitely loved her. The dogs and cat were well taken care of, she administered medicine to one of the dogs as needed, and walked them within the schedule we requested. Sierra is an obvious pet lover and someone you can trust. She stayed in our home and it was clean and well cared for upon our return. Highly recommend booking with Sierra.

Anna is incredible! Rey can be a little anxious and Anna was so sweet with her, spent so much time cuddling and outside with her and even took her on an outing to Home Depot! Anna gave frequent check ins and pictures, so it was always clear how Rey was doing, and I got to see firsthand what a great weekend she had. Anna was so conscientious and even cleaned up for us which was absolutely above and beyond. I couldn't recommend her more and will be using her again!

Stephanie was absolutely incredible with our anxious/nervous border collie mix and super social cat. Stephanie gave us detailed updates everyday with lots of pictures. It was such a a relief to be able to go on our two-week honeymoon abroad and know that they were in such great hands. We will definitely book with Stephanie again in the future!

Erica was the best. She was calm and sweet with our two excitable Labradoodles and communicated well during the evening. Our Doodles loved her! She was sensitive to their needs and followed our instructions well. It was New Years Eve and it can be loud around our house so we were glad to have her with our “Girls. Will definitely have her again.

I scheduled a meet and greet 6 weeks prior to my 2 week vacation that Brieanna initially forgot about and I totally understand mistakes happen so we rescheduled for another day where Brieanna arrived early. She asked great clarifying questions and seemed to understand the details around the cat’s needs. I was confident after our meet and greet my cats and home would be in good hands. I scheduled the booking to start between 6-6:30pm as I understand Brieanna has a day job. She informed me 10 minutes to 6pm the start date of the house sitting booking that she would be arriving after 9pm and she ultimately arrived at 11pm that night and I received a photo the next morning. There was a miscommunication around timing on my end at first but once that was cleared up, Brieanna was great with letting me know when she’d be away outside of her day job schedule. It seems some of her scheduled events occur weekly so having that knowledge when booking/at the meet and greet would have been beneficial but otherwise she wasn’t away for extended periods of time. She provided a daily update with photos which was the perfect frequency for me. The final day of the visit was scheduled to conclude at 8am but I wasn’t going to be home until the following day. Brieanna reached out to see if I’d need her to stay an extra night until I arrived back home but Booch and Tiggs were totally okay going a day by themselves. She still spent extra time with the girls that evening and tidying up the house. In the notes I left, I requested that the lock box on the front door be removed upon arrival but she didn’t inform me that she wasn’t able to get the lockbox off until the day of departure. I didn’t want the lockbox on the door for the duration of our vacation for safety and security purposes so I would have liked that Brieanna asked for insight on removing the lock box at the start of the booking. I recommend to be very clear with pet care and home instructions to avoid any miscommunication. I booked a house-sitter vs drop in’s for this vacation as 30 minute visits for longer vacations in the past seemed to stress my cats out. Upon arriving home, Booch and Tiggs were very cuddly and affectionate quickly vs in the past with only drop in’s, they’ve been super standoff-ish for a day or so. Brieanna’s presence gave the cats a routine, regular human contact and attention. Thank you, Brieanna for taking care of the girls and our home and for providing regular updates and photos!

Adam was fantastic. He took great care of my two dogs and sent lots of pictures and updates the whole time we were gone. We will absolutely book with him again!

Maria did a fantastic job watching Oliver for the first time. He was clearly well cared for and happy when we returned. She also took great care of our home, leaving everything just as we left it. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible and thoughtful pet sitter.
