Cat Sitting in Navy Yard City

Natascha took wonderful care of our two cats while we were away and kept us updated with pictures every day. She even noticed some issues with our snake and chinchilla and was happy to take care of those for us so we didn’t have to bother our neighbor. It meant a lot knowing someone dependable was there to check in on them.

Katherine did an exceptional job taking care of my two cats. One takes medication and can be fussy, she was able to get her to take her meds. When there were questions, the communication was prompt. Thanks again!

Karin is amazing! She is incredibly detail-oriented and great with our mature cat! Karin helped take care of many things around the house too, going above and beyond! It was a wonderful experience working with Karin!

Kaylie was absolutely wonderful with our older cat. She stopped in on him for a little over a week, giving him snuggles and helping him feel a little less lonely. We can’t thank her enough for taking such good care of him.

Anna’s help in caring for my cat was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’d never hired a pet sitter before, but she’ll be my go-to from now on. My cat is extremely social and I was concerned he’d be lonely while I was away for several weeks. Anna spent lots of time giving him attention and play. My cat also compulsively scratches himself, and with me gone he kicked it up a notch and tore through the skin. Anna had no problem giving him his pills and cleaning the wound. Additionally, she fed and kept an eye on our fish. She is an absolute saint: professional, communicative, and a lovely human to boot. Hire her!

To say Solace did a great job is an understatement. We booked Solace to look after our cat, Bear, for three check-ins while we were out of state. She was very flexible with regards to times and always responded quickly to our texts. Each time she dropped in to check on Bear, we'd not only receive 8 pictures, but a nice summary of the visit, how much he ate and drank, what they did, and the general state in the house, including checking to make sure his litter box was clean. I'm really impressed by how thorough Solace was with each check-in, and we really appreciated the detailed summaries of each visit. Furthermore, on our way home, we had a small panic when we believed that Bear had been trapped in a room. When we asked Solace to check on him for us, she responded immediately that she would do so as soon as she could. That's definitely going above and beyond for us, and we couldn't thank her enough. I highly recommend Solace for any pet-sitting service you need.

Valerie did an excellent job watching our senior cat who requires medication in our home. As well as ensuring our other younger, scaredy cat was safe, and taken care of as well. Wonderful communication and care. We are looking forward to booking with her again soon!

Kimberly went above and beyond my expectations or my additional requests.Im a 1st time user of Rover, and in fact have never had a cat/pet-sitter before. Kimberly got back to my inquiry within 15 minutes, and was able to help me with less than 12 hours notice. Upon my request, I asked if she could come by the house so I could leave her all my (insane and overly protectiveness) notes. We had initially agreed to 30 min drop-ins everyday, but after I met her I asked if she could do 2 visits a day, which she was able to accommodate my worry for leaving my cat alone. Kimberly provided photos of my cat EVERY VISIT and messaged me every time I needed to check-in (for my sanity). I had interior cameras set up and could honestly look in when I was curious, but she was amazing and meeting all my cats needs. Her interaction, and updates showed me that aside from me, and including my daughter, my cat seemed to love her almost as much as me! My cat was even following her out every visit the last few days! Kimberly loved my cat, and even fed the outdoor birds & squirrels in my absence since they are my cats TV entertainment throughout the days. ***Note: I didn't even return to a "present" from my cat! I can't recommend Kimberly enough!!! It was the BEST experience for both me and my cat! She will be there as much as you need her to, even on Christmas Day and evening!!! ❤️

Victoria was amazing! My animals were well attended, the food bowls rinsed and in the dishwasher, the litter cleaned. All instructions were followed and beyond. I will definitely have Victoria back again!
