Doggy Day Care in Orcas

We were so lucky to find such a great couple on Orcas Island to watch our sweet older dog. How do I know they were the best? When they come back for a second evening, our dog was so happy to see them. They were on-time, trustworthy and we can't recommend them highly enough.

We dropped our dog Judy off with Nick and Rebbecca early Friday morning so we could go whale watching, and they were fantastic from start to finish. They were super friendly and clearly experienced with dogs, which helped us feel at ease right away. The best part? Nick brought Judy to meet us at the ferry terminal when we returned—it was such a thoughtful gesture and saved us a long drive back to our cabin. Judy was happy and worn out from a great day of play and care. Highly recommend!

Kelsey was kind and extremely accommodating with fantastic communication. Very experienced with large dogs and a calm, quiet, friendly environment provided. Wonderful service provided!

Jack loved Roxanne! He has a good case of separation anxiety and Roxanne was able to calm him. By the 3rd day he was jumping out of the car to run to her door. Jack and I are lucky to have found her. He'll be back soon to play!

Very flexible with me for a last minute booking and seemed to take good care of my boy!

Chelsey is awesome and always so accommodating. My pup LOVES her! Chelsey is great at taking him to do fun things that we would do. We always know he is on great hands with her!

Kris and family is very accommodating. Kris is very calm and seems to know dogs quite well. We will schedule more visits with her for Skipper!

As an admittedly overprotective fur mom, leaving my dog Penny with someone new was something I never imagined I’d feel truly comfortable with. After moving to Victoria from Saskatchewan, I needed a sitter I could fully trust — and I am so grateful I found Monica and Bruno. They are such a warm, caring couple who treat Penny like their own. When we pull up to their home, Penny’s tail starts wagging and she runs straight to their front door, excited to see them — which brings me so much peace. Throughout the day, I always receive updates and photos, and it’s obvious she’s relaxed, happy, and well looked after. Monica and Bruno have gone above and beyond for Penny, and I feel completely confident leaving her in their care. If you’re looking for reliable, thoughtful, loving sitters, I can’t recommend them enough. Penny adores them — and so do we!

Super easy to communicate with and has an amazing area for the dogs! Stanley came home every day super tired and would be jumping in the car excited to get out every morning!

Virginia helped us out in a pinch. She and her family were very good to Licorice, he was relaxed and not at all anxious when we picked him up.

Another great day of care with Olivia! She is so thoughtful in sending pictures and making sure my dog has a fun time. He has severe separation anxiety and I when he's with Olivia I I get a little worry break!

Katy and Rachelle are excellent in their communication. They are very helpful, pleasant and accommodating. Tater, their 13 year old Corgi, is so sweet & mellow and he is great companion for our four year old Dachshund.

5 stars from Dixie! Kathryn was easy to communicate with, considerate of Dixie's needs, and shared photos/updates during the day. She had a great time hanging out with Carl and walking around the neighborhood. It sounds like he was a great influence on our socially unsure dog. Dixie was at ease from the beginning in Kathryn's home- even though Dix was happy to see me when I picked her up she wasn't in a rush to leave. Now she's crashed on her bed, a sure indication of the fun she had.

Love Tannis and so does Peach! She has taken a very short time to relax and be herself with Tannis and Bubba despite her separation anxiety. She comes home happy and worn out from the adventures which are perfect for her little dog needs. Highly recommend.

Rachel is the best!!! So great to know my little guy is in great hands!
