Doggy Day Care in Orcas

We were so lucky to find such a great couple on Orcas Island to watch our sweet older dog. How do I know they were the best? When they come back for a second evening, our dog was so happy to see them. They were on-time, trustworthy and we can't recommend them highly enough.

Nick and Rebecca were great! They were communicative and also accommodating. My husband and I dropped our doggo off for the day for daycare while we were exploring Orcas Island and I received multiple updates during my dog’s stay. Their dog is also a sweetheart and got along well with our dog. If we were local we would book with Nick and Rebecca again, but if you’re visiting the island and need someone to watch your fur baby I definitely recommend Nick and Rebecca!

Beth was so wonderful w/ our pup! She was kind to accommodate last minute request for daycare for our pup & very knowledgeable. She was professional & caring & prompt to reply. So pleased she suggested dogs meeting up before the stay together to ensure good vibes & happy dogs on both sides. Would definitely recommend her services if you need help with your furry friends while you visit the island & we will most definitely request her services in the future.

My dog Hudson gets so excited to go to Kelsey’s, it makes me so happy to see that he’s treated so well and enjoys his time. I never worry when he’s with Kelsey!

After an initial meet and greet, Dill couldn't get out of the cart fast enough when I took him for his 1st full day of doggy day care. Because of his age, Dill needs some extra care and Roxanne went above and beyond to meet his needs. This was most important to me . He does require extra patience, like, a doggy diaper when he goes in the house because he dribbles, and then it needs to be taken off when he's outside. This is just one of the extra maintenance things he needs but Roxanne doesn't mind at all. She's patient with his slow and stubborn ways. She's got a wonderful yard for play and she sent me pics and even a video of Dill playing like nothing I've seen in a long time! I'm so thankful I've found Roxanne!

Very flexible with me for a last minute booking and seemed to take good care of my boy!

Ginger had a great time with Holly and her pack! Holly sent great photos and is very easy to communicate with. We look forward to having Ginger over again soon!

Chelsey was very flexible with my schedule and school. Peaches was always so excited to see her! She was well taken care of over the semester!

Virginia and her family are lovely, warm and flexible. Timber is happy when I drop her and pick her up. A wonderful resource for a rescue with severe separation anxiety.

Kris and family is very accommodating. Kris is very calm and seems to know dogs quite well. We will schedule more visits with her for Skipper!

Our 2 small doggos stayed with Nicole & Cody for the day, and they seemed to have a great time! I scoured Rover and other sites for someone I could trust to take care of my little babies and I feel like we’ve struck gold with Nicole and Cody. They are true pet people with a great home setup to care for your animals! We’ll definitely book again!

Kieran took great care of my dog. She was communicative and shared frequent updates. My dog was well pampered and tired after lots of cuddles and playtime. Will definitely recommend having her host your dog!

Vicki and her dogs were great with our dog. I had peace of mind that she was well looked after. Our dog played all day and was very tired that evening, which was perfect.

We'll definitely be booking with Tannis again. Our little Peach is an anxious but Tannis and Bubba were such great hosts and put all our minds at ease. So welcoming and responsive, safe and secure environment and sending lots of pictures so we could see that she settled in quickly, even on her first visit. Five stars.

I was happy I could leave Jack with Morgan at such a short notice. She said that he was more to himself that day and that was probably due to the fact that he had an encounter with two aggressive dogs the day before so he wasn’t too sure about seeing a new dog in the house. Thank you for being so patient with him!

Katy and Rachelle were very attentive and caring with our puppy, lots of pictures and feedback about her day and she clearly had a great time there! Would highly recommend to all.

As an admittedly overprotective fur mom, leaving my dog Penny with someone new was something I never imagined I’d feel truly comfortable with. After moving to Victoria from Saskatchewan, I needed a sitter I could fully trust — and I am so grateful I found Monica and Bruno. They are such a warm, caring couple who treat Penny like their own. When we pull up to their home, Penny’s tail starts wagging and she runs straight to their front door, excited to see them — which brings me so much peace. Throughout the day, I always receive updates and photos, and it’s obvious she’s relaxed, happy, and well looked after. Monica and Bruno have gone above and beyond for Penny, and I feel completely confident leaving her in their care. If you’re looking for reliable, thoughtful, loving sitters, I can’t recommend them enough. Penny adores them — and so do we!

Baxter had a wonderful day with Amy and made a few new doggy friends:). How great that he had a few kids to spoil him as well. We look forward to another stay with Chris and Amy
