Dog Boarding in Portage

We had our baby stay with Kathy for a week during the historic heat wave. Kathy and her husband were very nice to accommodate our early departure and late arrival at no extra charge. She let us to drop off Rocky the night before and stayed up almost midnight for us to pick him up because our flight was delayed. She kept Rocky and other dogs cool and calm during the heat wave. Definitely have Rocky stay with Kathy in the future.

When I first met Maria it was like visiting an old friend. I got the best feeling from her and her lovely home. Everything was clean and geared towards the dogs-lots of dog beds, comfy rugs and a big mattress on the floor for a big cozy cuddle puddle. My little Bode likes to be alone sometimes and Maria put his bed in bathroom cause that’s where he liked hanging out and was most comfortable. Maria was sensitive to his needs. Such personalized treatment! Being a senior dog, my Bode isn’t good at stairs so Maria carried him up and down stairs for the many yard/pee times. These things are really huge to me and for my guy, who in the last 10+ years had previously only been away from home for just a weekend. Now a week!? No worries. Maria treats all the dogs like they are her own. I got so many pictures and videos it was so comforting to see him eating, sleeping, walking around, like it was his own home. The next time I have to go out of town I will definitely feel comfortable leaving my little guy at the ‘senior center’ with Maria. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Kelly was great with communication, and provided a wonderful experience for my dog while we were away. Definitely booking with her for future trips!

Andrea was a wonderful sitter for Mario. When I came to pick him up he was calm and happy, very well cared for. We feel lucky to have found such a good dog sitter- it' s the ideal situation for our older people oriented dog - lots of attention and a yard too! (We have moved to an apartment from the house he knew).

Dennis and Lynn were incredibly nice and easy to work with. They’ve got a great backyard, and Max was able to investigate and get comfortable with during the meet and greet. Dennis and Lynn were communicative and I received plenty of videos over the two nights they watched Max, and he was clearly very happy and comfortable in their care. I will 100% have Max stay with them again.

Scott and his wife went above and beyond for my dog. She has never been left anywhere and had some major anxiety mishaps and they took it in stride. They truly enjoy the animals they take in and treat them as family! Could not have asked for better. Thank you so much!

Shantel is an excellent pet surrogate mom for our fur baby Porter. Porter stayed with her for 2 weeks & took good care of him. She sent updates, photos & videos daily. Maggie was great with my dog Sammy. She kept in communication with me, sending me messages about his nights and days while there and included pictures of him. He always looked so happy and very comfortable there. Maggie also made drop off and pick up of Sammy so quick and easy as I always seem to be in a hurry when I am trying to leave for my trips, lol.

Irey is absolutely amazing! My dog was so happy and comfortable from the minute he got there. He has everything to make your pet feel at home and treats them like part of the family! I wish I could give him more stars! 😁 His communication is excellent so you can totally enjoy your time away without one worry for your pup!

Kristina always takes excellent care of our pups. They are both elderly. Both blind. And both have special needs. One is diabetic and she is comfortable giving them their shots. I feel safe leaving my dogs with her any time we go on a trip. She treats them like her own.

Our dog Penny stayed over for a night and had an absolute blast at their house! She had sooooooo many friends to play with and I think might've played a little too hard, but she had a great time!

This was a good first time experience on Rover. Tinker had a wonderful time hanging with Tobi and getting to be a part of her "pack" for a few days. We were able to have a pre-visit to see if it was a good fit (and it was!) Lots of updates and lots of playtime with photos. So happy everything worked out so well. We have another upcoming trip and will surely reach out again. Thank you so much Tobi!! :D

So awesome! Milo has a blast with her pup Lob and I am pretty sure made fast friends. Luisa was amazing with updates and pictures and funny stories about the two. If I could give more than five stars I would!

Ryley and Juyeon were the absolute best! They were attentive, caring, responsive and super helpful when CJ had a last minute accident requiring medication. We also received adorable pictures which made things even better! Thank you for taking such great care of our CJ.

Diahann and her family did such a wonderful job taking care of our pup! She sent us regular updates with photos and videos, and she was always super prompt in her responses. Drop off and pickup were a breeze, and she made us feel at ease the moment we met her. We will 10/10 come back to Diahann in the future!

Heather took such great care of our dogs while we were away! They loved being loved on by her and her family. They came home happy and tired and we were so grateful to be able to enjoy our trip without worrying about them. They will definitely be visiting her again. 😊

Beth was great with our fur baby! She sent many pics and updates, and went out of her way to make our pup feel comfortable and at home. We were very nervous to leave our dog with a sitter at all, but it went so well that we will definitely be bringing her back to Beth in the future. Thanks Beth!

Thanksgiving week was our first time leaving our pup George with Quang. We appreciated the daily pictures or videos we got to let us see how he was doing. We've had a negative boarding experience in the past (a big facility with dozens of dogs) and it's so nice to know that George was in a home and seen and cared for. He's home with us now and happy, but we know we can leave him with Quang again and not worry. Thanks, Quang!

This is our second time using Misa, and our dog dragged me from the car to her door, he was so exited to see her and her family! She sends cute photos and is flexible and very easy to communicate with. My pup and I both feel lucky to have found her.

Cheryl took our request at 2am when we desperately needed boarding in order to have emergency C section. She treated our dogs like they were her own for a total of 5 days which meant the world to us in our hour of need. They had plenty of exercise, affection and made new friends to play with. We can’t thank her enough
