House Sitting in Purdy

We had Kat do some house sitting for our doggo when we’re out of town, she was WONDERFUL! From the start, Kat was very communicative, friendly and treated our dog with plenty of love. She was also super respectful of our house. We would absolutely book her again! She truly did a great, great job.

Annie stayed at my home for over a week to care for my family's elderly dog. Our sweet dog requires a high level of interaction because she receives medication multiple times a day, and she needs a consistent routine and companionship, so she requires a special touch. Upon meeting Annie, our dog instantly responded to Annie's sensitive, gentle, and loving disposition. While we were away, Annie checked in with us every day, sharing photos of our sweetheart and her activities for that day. Upon our return, I could tell our dog had received excellent care because her eyes were bright, she was relaxed, happy, and engaged. In addition to caring for our dog, Annie made sure our plants were watered, that all packages were picked up promptly, that the garbage was taken out, dishes were clean and that the house was tidy. She even went above and beyond by washing and drying the sheets and towels from the guest bedroom and guest bathroom. I feel so fortunate to have had Annie care for our home and beloved family dog. I highly recommend her, and I look forward to having her stay at our home and be a companion to our loved one again soon.

Codi is always awesome with our dogs when we’re out of town. She goes out of her way to make sure we’re up to date on the pups and never worried. She even went out of her way and took the trash out on trash day when I forgot 😁 Always a great experience!

Teagan was a fantastic house and pet sitter. Teagan was very responsive from the initial meet and greet with our pups, they instantly warmed up to her. During our trip Teagan communicated with pictures and updates everyday allowing us to fully relax knowing our home and furry baby family were in good hands. When we returned our house was well taken care of and the dogs were doing great. I would absolutely recommend Teagan to any of my friends and will use her as my house sitter going forward.

Megan was amazing! She was able to look after our 3 dogs last minute after our buddy who was suppose to look after them fell ill. She was very communicative and sent lots of photos. We are incredibly thankful for her help!

This was my first Rover experience in almost 10 years. Our 16yo terrier just wasn’t a great fit at her kennel anymore so we connected with Keleia. Trusting someone you don’t know with your home and pet is a big ask and she did just great. Keleia is calm and quiet and I think our dog Shelby appreciated that energy. Jerry’s care of our three cats and two dogs was amazing as always!!! He did housesitting for several days and left everything immaculate. It did not even seem as if we had company in the house. All the pets seem very happy, well-adjusted and cared for upon our return. Pictures of each pet multiple times a day gave us examples of how well they were socialized with him. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Jerry’s care and commitment to honesty, integrity caring and service. Truly makes our vacations carefree.

Hannah was amazing with Chief! She took very good care of him while he was scared and anxious. I would highly recommend Hannah for any dog sitting! She sent pictures every day and made sure to keep us updated on how he was doing!

Hannah was great! She met us ahead of time, which was really nice, and we felt really comfortable having her at our house taking care of our animals! Will definitely book again. :)

Bronwen did an amazing job looking after Star! She was punctual, regular with updates, followed all of our care instructions to a tee and left the house spotless (probably cleaner than we left it if I’m being honest). Highly recommend!

We had excellent experience with Melissa housesitting and watching our pets already two times. She maintained our house and garden in a great shape, and our pets were happy as well. We use Rover for many years and believe that Mel is one of the best people here.

Bri and Jamal were fantastic with our senior dog. They took great care of her. They left our house as clean as it was before and we could not recommend them more.

Michael did a great job with our Old Man Otis and our non conventional home (we line in a 37' Class A Motorhome) Thank you Michael! We will for sure use you again when we are parked in Gig Harbor.

Erica was the best. She was calm and sweet with our two excitable Labradoodles and communicated well during the evening. Our Doodles loved her! She was sensitive to their needs and followed our instructions well. It was New Years Eve and it can be loud around our house so we were glad to have her with our “Girls. Will definitely have her again.

Megan is absolutely wonderful. We were pretty nervous to leave our 2 challenging poodles for the first time, and for a whole week, but it was a breeze. Dalton needs a LOT of exercise, and Diamond is slow to warm up and has feeding challenges, but Megan did great with both. She was perfectly communicative giving multiple daily updates with pictures and was quick to respond as well. Excellent in both dog and house sitting. We look forward to working with you again, Megan!

Ashanta is amazing! She kept us updated and sent pics/vids every day. It was clear she cared about our dogs as if they were her own. She also took care of our house, such as, took out our bins on garbage/recycle day. She’s very attentive. We will definitely be using her again in the future.

Penny was absolutely a wonderful dogsitter! We couldn't have asked for a better person. She gave us peace of mind with regular updates & pics. Our house was EXACTLY as we left it. She was so easy to communicate with and helped with the few things we asked her to keep an eye out for. Whenever we travel next, We will definitely be asking Penny to stay with Doug again. Cannot recommend her enough!!!
