Dog Boarding in Shaw Island

Nick and Rebecca are amazing! We needed a last minute sitter for our chihuahua when we were visiting the island and they were super happy to help! They are incredibly kind and you can tell they love animals!!! Alvin was extremely well taken care of and I felt very comfortable leaving him with them! They were very responsive and sent updates letting us know he was fitting in just great! They also have the sweetest Golden Retriever!!! I can’t recommend them highly enough! They should be your go to sitter on the island!! Thanks for taking such good care of our little guy! :)

Kelsey is the absolute best! My dogs have separation anxiety but had the best possible care to help them through it! ♥️ I highly recommend Kelsey!! She was so easy to work with and very kind! ♥️

Great communication and my dog was really well looked after. He came home so clean! Daisy and her family were wonderful hosts and I’d gladly use them again.

This was Pocket's second stay with Allyson. I got a few pictures during the stay and when I picked her up she seemed very calm and tired. I will happily book with Allyson in the future!

Bill & Gerie are fantastic! They were so easy to communicate with and provided exceptional care for our active dog. We will use them again in a heartbeat!

Sarah took wonderful care of our baby Percy! She was very communicative and really went the extra mile to spoil him. I swear he came home with better manners too!

Brianna continues to be an exceptional and competent boarding option. She’s quick with communication, keeps the photos coming and keeps our doggos happy and healthy. Couldn’t ask for more!

Kevin and Kayla were amazing with my dog Patches, as we adapt from a move from the mainland to the island. Patches was going through some anxiety being left alone for longer periods while I was working, so I opted to board him overnight with Kayla and Kevin rather than leaving him alone while I worked. Now, when we arrive for drop off, he knows his way to their apartment and can’t get there fast enough. He gets so excited at drop off and has made himself right at home there. Would highly recommend!

Murphy enjoyed his two night stay with Dan and Patricha. Trotted off with them without a backwards glance and returned happy and well. They seem like careful and caring sitters, great communication, and I'd be happy to have him hang out with them another time.

I have a rambunctious puppy and I trust Kelsey with her. She always has a great time and is completely knackered after every stay. Kelsey’s dogs, Bagley and Brooklyn are very sweet.

Linda is great! She is willing to pick up and drop off if nearby. I am so greatful for her hospitality and professionalism. My pup seems so happy to see her and mingle with her pups as well. To top it off, she sends pictures throughout the day which is much appreciated. Will continue to use her services while in San Diego. Thank you Linda!

Haley had a fantastic time with Marta. Both her and her husband are clearly dog lovers and took excellent care of her. I highly recommend her. We will definitely use her again,

Emilie is a wonderful and experienced dog sitter, and took very good care of our dog Ria for two nights. She sends a lot of photos and messages to make sure you're fully updated on what your pup is up to, and answers any questions that you have quickly. Emilie is also very accommodating, as our dog is on a raw diet and she was willing to follow my detailed feeding instructions (despite her dog not being on a raw diet), plus she even dropped our girl back at home as we were running late coming back from our trip. Emilie seems kind, gentle, but firm with the dogs that she cares for, and has a sweet golden named Osco at home that seems to be a good influence for our hyper girl. We're so grateful to have found a trustworthy and reliable sitter and definitely recommend her to anyone looking for day care or boarding services.

Virginia was wonderful!!! Our pups came home very happy and settled after two overnights. She sent pictures and kept in touch and that made us feel at ease. Highly recommend!

Our dog Russer is shy around new people, so upcoming to a 2-week vacation we decided to send him for a trial sleepover with Kendall. Kendall was experienced, confident, and professional. She is quick to respond to messages, and gave great updates for how things were going. Her home is beautiful and tidy. We would definitely recommend Kendall, and feel at ease leaving Russer at her home for our upcoming vacation. You can tell she loves animals very much. We feel so lucky to have found her!

Lisa and her daughter, Sara, took the best care of our dog over a long weekend. They took her on fun excursions, played ball and sent us lots of photos. Our dog felt very comfortable in their home and was a tired, happy pup when we picked her up. We will definitely be using them again!!

Thank you Ryan, Lora and their wonderful family for looking after our dog Mango during Christmas this year. Mango was well looked after and the communication with Ryan was great. We were getting multiple updates with photos everyday. We would recommend them to anyone who needs loving family too look after their dog.

Teddy had a great stay with Andrea! He’s a very hyperactive and high anxiety dog, but I can tell he felt very comfortable at their home 🥰 she updated me throughout the night with photos of teddy relaxing and she is a very sweet caring person!

Lola came back from a stay with Marlisa socialized and happy. You can tell she and her son are such dog people! Thanks for taking such good care of my girl.

Our dog Leo (Golden Retriever x Bernese) stayed with Alyssa and Justin for two weeks. He settled in quickly and clearly had a wonderful stay with them! Alyssa and Justin provided updates on Leo during his stay to assure us he was doing well. And they gave him lots of walks and attention which he soaked right up! We will aim to board Leo with Alyssa and Justin in the future - I think it was a great experience for everyone!
