We were really happy with Penny. She gave us the confidence to leave town and know our cat would be in good hands. What made us book with Penny was not only the reviews, but also see the repeat customers and her saying to be experience with cats. We noticed many great sitters are good with dogs, and not many list cats on their profiles. From the first contact, Penny was very (I mean VERY) responsive. I found myself trying to book while at work and I was the one taking too long to reply Penny. Once we settle our schedule for meet and greet, Penny was ahead of time (which was perfect for us) for our Meet and Greet. During that, we noticed how careful she was around our cat, Sophie. It was reassuring to see how Penny understands cats (and how different they are compared to dogs). This was our first booking with Rover and Penny explained each step of the way, what to expect and so forth. We went ahead and booked with Penny. Once the appointment started (we booked 2x/day drop in visits), she provided a very detailed report on each visit with lots of pictures (even adding her personal editing capabilities on some pictures, which was a nice touch). We just adopted Sophie 2 weeks prior to our booking and we are also learning what she likes or not. As Sophie is a special needs cat (she requires 2x/day medication). Penny identified Sophie was getting a bit nervous to take her medication, and knowing cat behavior she found newz ways to give Sophie her meds. The communication with Penny was crucial to ensure our peace of mind. We never setup an expectation but she probably understand owners well and set a high bar moving forward. We will definitely be another repeating customer. Thanks Penny for your dedication and patience with our girl.

Tiffany was amazing and was able to come last minute for drop in visits for my cat when I was out of the country and another Rover sitter I booked never showed. She was able to come the same day I messaged her within the hour, which is more than I could have asked for! She left Duke with fresh food and water and a clean litter box and tried to get him to come out to play (he very shy). Would totally recommend!

David takes great care of our wild Wire Fox Terrier puppies and our Double Crested Green Amazon Parrot! We feel safe when we travel.

This was my second time booking with Kiki and she does not disappoint! I was so grateful she could check in on my cat after a last minute request. Great communication. Teddy is always in great hands with Kiki and I look forward to booking with her again!

For our trip out of town, Sara provided excellent care for our cat (Portia). Sara was SUPER responsive in her communications, giving us daily updates and following Portia’s rather involved feeding habits (dry + wet + treats), as well as giving her some much appreciated interaction with toys, etc. It was our first trip in a while, and we were a little anxious, but Sara’s updates and caring, professional manner gave us confidence that Portia was in good hands. Evan was a great communicator, he sent lots of messages/pictures of our dogs, and spent more time with them than he had to. Our older dog, Floki has a complex eating routine and Evan had no problem following it. I would highly recommend him!

Daniel watched our cats again over a longer trip and did another outstanding job. Even though we were in different timezones, Daniel was incredibly thoughtful and was able to take care of a few surprises without specific instruction. Daniel has excellent written communication and knew exactly when to reach out, and what information we would need.
