House Sitting in Wildcat Lake

Allison took great care with our fur babies. Three of them. We also very much appreciate the care of our home as well. She communicated and provided pictures of the babies while we were away, keeping us very much at ease during our time away. Allison is an awesome caretaker.

Max watched our dog, Ziggy, for 4 days. We got daily pictures of Ziggy playing in the snow and hanging out in the house. Max even kept our chickens fed and collected eggs each day. It was very appreciated. We will definitely reach out to Max again if the need arises.

Being new to the area we were nervous about finding someone to watch our two small dogs and aging cat. And with Anna I think we hit it out of the park. In Nor Cal we had many good experiences with pet setters but with Anna it was so much more than good. She paid attention to my concerns, truly cared for our animals and home and wouldn’t hesitate working with her again if we have the opportunity to do so.

Alexia was great! She was on time, responsive, and made our dogs feel loved while we were gone. Our house was well cared for as well. We will definitely use Alexia again!

Overnight went super well. Sha took great care of the pups and our house! Even with a couple meds and special instructions for one of our dogs. Really appreciate how easy everything has been and the pupdates we get!

Violet was fantastic - great communication and regular photos. My pups were happy and the house looked great when we got back! I'd highly recommend Violet and look forward to having her pet sit for us in the future!

Penny was absolutely a wonderful dogsitter! We couldn't have asked for a better person. She gave us peace of mind with regular updates & pics. Our house was EXACTLY as we left it. She was so easy to communicate with and helped with the few things we asked her to keep an eye out for. Whenever we travel next, We will definitely be asking Penny to stay with Doug again. Cannot recommend her enough!!!

Gabby did a perfect job of watching our house and our two kitties who are less than a year old. She regularly sent pictures and updates, and asked questions when appropriate. This was the first sitter I have booked through Rover, so I was a little nervous before I met her, but I never once felt like I had to wonder how the kitties were doing while we were away. We will definitely be returning customers for our next trip.

Sarah is so fantastic! She house and dog sat for me for a week and not only were my pups happy, the house looked like she hadn’t touched a thing. So relieving to know she’s there to make a vacation better knowing my home and puppies are in good hands.

Super attentive and took such good care of my dogs which I was out of town. She sent lots of updates and photos through the app which were so great to get and made me not worry about my dogs while I was gone. I will be using her again until the future for sure!

Katherine put my mind at ease while we were on vacation! She took great care of my cat and house.

We hired Kim to housesit with our dog for 5 days. She was personable upon meeting, our dog seemed to like her, and we enjoyed talking to her. She took good care of our house while we were gone, but there were some communication issues. For context, when I first contacted her I made her aware of a few key things: 1) that our dog was reactive towards other dogs and he wasn't to be walked while we are gone and only to be let our in our yard, and 2) that he is used to having someone home all day because we work from home, though I specified that a few hours away was ok. We also talked about this in person at our meet n greet and Kim assured me she'd clear her schedule of other jobs and if she went out, it would be short periods for errands. The first communication issue occurred right before we left, she messaged to say she was going to come ½ hour after the scheduled time in Rover, forgetting that we had actually agreed for her to come earlier than was scheduled so that she could reacquaint herself with our dog and house. I let that slide since I hadn’t officially updated the arrival time in Rover, as it was an agreement we made via messaging. The second issue was when she messaged to ask how he is on walks — which concerned me since we had been very clear about not walking him. The third issue occurred on the last day, when I noticed per a Ring notification that she had been gone for 4 hours, so I messaged her to check in, as we were worrying not only about our dog but also if she was ok. After 5 1/2 hours away from the house, she returned and messaged me to say that she was walking other dogs and was running errands, so she apparently forgot what she agreed to in our earlier conversation. She didn't apologize but assured me that our dog seemed fine. It caused us unnecessary stress for all those hours while we were stuck on a plane not knowing if she was ok or when she was coming back. While Kim may very well take good care of dogs that don't have special needs, in our case we needed someone with more attention to detail so we could relax while traveling without worrying about our pup.

Alexa is the real deal! We are so lucky to have her watch after our somewhat high-maintenance pup. She is caring, experienced, dependable, professional, and a great communicator. She provided really good walks and attention while we were away. She comes highly recommended!

Desiree was so loving to my sweet Adelina. Treated her just like I do. I was able to go on my trip without a care in the world knowing my baby was taken care of and loved exactly like I do. Desiree was very communicative through the whole weekend and sent pictures. She definitely helped put my mind at ease so I could enjoy my vacation with my family. She is now Ady girl's new, permanent doggy sitter :)
