Dog Boarding in Howard

Lucy enjoyed her stay with Heather. We received daily updates and pictures, which were really appreciated when leaving a member of my family somewhere new for an extended period of time. I would be happy to have Lucy stay with Heather again in the future.

Our dog came back happy!

Our dog came home very happy and seems to have had a great experience! She sent us cute pictures of how he was doing and made it so we didn't have to be worried about him. Very highly recommended and I'm so very happy we met her! We'll definitely be bringing our puppy to her again!

Melissa was wonderful! She took great care of our dogs and was very responsive throughout the process. I also loved the pictures that she sent while the dogs were staying with her!

Shanna is amazing! Our puppy Kurt Russell loves to go visit her. She has great communication and updates us on how Kurt is doing multiple times a day. We feel comfortable leaving him with Shanna and so appreciative of the care and attention she gives Kurt.

Mackenzie is genuinely an awesome person and wonderful dog sitter!! 🐾 She very generously accommodated my dog for boarding on short notice overnight, which is typically VERY stressful for both myself and my dog…however, our experience with Mackenzie was very pleasant!! I was given consistent updates about my dog, sent photos, and reassured my baby was cared for as if I were caring for him myself. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and could tell he was kept as comfortable as possible and given a great environment to hang out, take walks, get plenty of sniffs (my dogs favorite) and snuggles. Side note - he has separation anxiety and Mackenzie did a wonderful job minimizing this for both of us, as it usually takes him some time to calm down after coming home from a sitter’s but he was not even anxious when I picked him up, just happy to see me! Which almost brought me to tears. I will definitely be asking Mackenzie to care for my dog again in the future & know when I say her name to go visit he will be happy to go see her again (: Couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience!!

Denise and her family were wonderful. They sent us pictures while we were gone. We had a meet and greet before hand that went well. Would absolutely do this again!

We were in town for a wedding and needed a place for our dog to stay for the day. This was our first Rover experience and first time our dog has stayed somewhere unfamiliar. Holly was great at welcoming her in and getting her used to the new surroundings, and other dogs. Our pup was definitely tired from playing all day when we picked her up. Thanks again Holly!

Absolutely wonderful! Great communication and flexibility with drop-off and pick-up times. It was obvious my dog had a great time and he took an immediate liking to Kaylyn. This was my dogs first overnight outside of the family and I couldn’t ask for a better experience!

Colleen was very welcoming and did a wonderful job watching our dog Bella. With our dog having anxiety issues being away from us; Colleen was understanding and made Bella feel comfortable to the point where Bella actually ate her supper at night, which was shocking since Bella doesn’t eat when she is away from us. Fantastic! Jeff was amazing. He and Bourbon were best buds out of the gate. He exercised him regularly and Bourbon didn't even know we were gone. Great house, great yard, great neighborhood, wonderful experience. Wish we lived in GB and could use Jeff regularly.

My dog Odie felt right at home at Rebecca's house. She kept me updated and sent me photos during his stay. So happy my guy is well taken care of while I'm out of town. Highly recommend.

Kristal and Scott took great care of my pup. They even let her sleep with them at night since that is what she is used to. They sent me some cute pictures with an update on how she was doing which was appreciated!

This was my first time using not only Rover but a pet sitter in general. I wasn't sure what to expect. I was in a bind and I needed a pet sitter for the holiday weekend so I sent a message to Samantha. After the meet and greet I was still a bit anxious but Samantha reassured me everything would be okay. I got a call an hour or two later from her, telling me that there was a little mishap. While trimming Odin, she cut some matted fur behind his ear and hit some skin. She immediately sent me photos and gave me a breakdown of what happened and how we would move forward. She accepted responsibility for the error and she handled it well. After that, she continued to send me photos of Odin at the beach, playing in the backyard, and having a great time. I didn't know that she would be giving me updates, it was a really nice personal touch. Odin's cut healed nicely and she even followed up with me the following weekend. I was really touched. This is the kind of service you wish existed but usually doesn't. I can tell how much Samantha enjoys taking care of dogs, and I will be certain to book her anytime I need another pet sitter. Overall, awesome experience. I'm really glad I gave this site a shot. Thanks! (^.^)/

Alex and her husband were so sweet and did a wonderful job taking care of my two dogs! They were flexible with pick up and drop off times. They sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the weekend which made me feel reassured and comfortable that my pups were having a good time and getting lots of loves. It is hard to leave your fur babies with someone else but I would 100% recommend Alex to anyone who needs a dog sitter!

We highly recommend Shelby! Our pup had such a great weekend and I felt so comfortable knowing he was being well cared for. She was very good with communication and photos and she even gave him a bath without us asking! We will definitely be happy to use her services again in the future :)

Rose takes such wonderful care of Romeo. She goes out of her way for both pet and owner. I know that Romeo is in great hands when I leave him with her which means I can enjoy and relax when I'm on vacation. Such a sweetie!
