House Sitting in Lake Hallie

I am happy to recommend Janet as a pet sitter. We left our 21-year-old cat and 8-year-old, 70-pound dog in Janet’s caring hands. She stayed in our home while we were on a two-week vacation. She responded quickly when I sent her a text message. She also sent us pictures of our fur-babies.

First time using Rover and was a bit tentative. Took a chance with Brittney, who stayed at our house with our 3 dogs for a week. They warmed up to her quickly! Checked in periodically and she was quick to respond. They seemed well taken care of and happy upon our return. I feel she is trustworthy and was pleased with her service.

Rae Ann did a great job with Ari when house sitting and also left the house very clean and in good shape. I would use her again.

Emily is a treasure for any animal or human! We have had her for Cody, and today she took great care for our newest furbaby. She gave Levi a fun filled day, sending pics along the way. Her smile and attitude are contagious. 🙂

Christine was amazingly prompt, responsive and considerate. Went above and beyond with a 10 week and 10 month old puppies will definitely be having her return !!!

Emma took great care of our dogs! This was my first time using Rover and would definitely have Emma help again. She made sure the dogs were well taken care of and kept me updated on how everything was going.

Laura stayed at my house and watched my dog Marty for 8 days. She was absolutely wonderful! She sent regular updates and pictures, which made being away so much easier. It was clear that Marty was happy and well taken care of the whole time. She even picked up after herself before leaving. Super reliable, thoughtful, and caring—I’d definitely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!

Kristy is the best! This was my very first time leaving my dog (Ruby) for an extended period of time, and I am so happy that my nervous dog had a someone as patient and knowledgeable as Kristy. She took the time to earn Ruby’s trust, and I know Ruby received the best care. Kristy communicated exceptionally well—I didn’t worry while I was away and could enjoy my vacation.

In the six years that we have had our dog we have never had a sitter or boarded him so when we needed someone last minute we were very nervous in our search especially since I could not picture leaving him in a kennel all weekend at a boarding place. After hearing great things about Rover we decided to reach out to Carissa since it seemed others had a great experience with her. I can tell you that all of her reviews are accurate! She made the entire process so quick and easy, the way she interacted with our dog made me so much more comfortable especially when he took an instant like to her, and coming home to a happy boy was relieving. I highly recommend her for your fur baby!
