House Sitting in Powers Lake

We love having Deanne home sit our pets! Every time we have had her we have presented her with big challenges. This time we had relatively short notice to travel to Ohio State University to have our 1 year old dog have a total hip replacement performed. Deanne rose to the challenge to watch our home, our other two dogs and cat on short notice so we could make the trip. We were exhausted when we left but knew Deanne could step right in and take over. It was stressful to make such a long trip with our dog and have her go through such a major surgery and then return home with her. But having Deanne sit put our minds at ease. We also did not have a firm date as to when we could return so we had to keep Deanne updated and remain flexible. We never worried about our pets and home as we knew they would love seeing Deanne again. This allowed us to focus on our dog and her surgery and recovery. Deanne sent updates and photos every day and handled our flexible schedule with grace and understanding. Deanne is simply the best (especially with challenging circumstances)! We give Deanne our absolute highest recommendation (there are not enough stars here for her)! Thank You Deanne for making an important and stressful trip so much easier for us!

Kya was great with Brody! We were very lucky to have her at our home and with our fur baby. This was the first experience having a dog sitter (outside of friends or family) and Kya made it a great one. We will for sure use Kya in the future as she left our home clean and spotless, Brody loved her and was perfectly taken care of! THANK YOU!

Jason agreed to watch our special needs dog in our home at the last minute. Our Scooter was well cared for, meds administered, and happy when we came home. We got pictures and texts confirming he'd received his meds on time and letting us know when he was heading home. House looked great and Scoots was happy.

Emily was excellent to work with. She was very responsive and provided me updates and pictures throughout the stay with Freya. Freya took to her right away, despite the fact that she is usually hesitant with new people. She was also respectful of our house while house-sitting, which is very appreciated.

Shalynn provided excellent dog sitting for our dog within our home. We were looking to keep our dog in a familiar environment so the house sitting was a service we wanted to try. For many years we were hesitant. However, Shalynn is a professional dog sitter, and has worked with our dog as a trainer. Like a professional she spent time at our home prior to our trip to understand any instructions as relates to taking care of dog and our home. We received pictures during our vacation which we appreciate. It was nice to get away knowing everything is well on the home front. We plan to rebook with Shalynn in future.

Thank you Terri for taking such good care of Shiloh! Our trip was unexpectedly extended and Terri was able to adjust her schedule to accommodate at the last minute! It was reassuring to know that Shiloh was well taken care of while we were trying to figure out how to get home. She kept the house clean and orderly while giving my senior dog the love and special attention that he needs.

Savanah is fantastic! This was our first time using a sitter, and we could not have had a better experience. As soon as we had our meet and greet with Savanah, we got the feeling that she would be an amazing sitter—and we were right! She stayed at our house for three days and took great care of our very particular (aka spoiled) three-year old Dalmatian. She knew exactly how to go about making friends with our doggo, and spent lots of time playing and cuddling with her. Savanah sent us lots of text updates and photos, so we were totally at ease while we were away. We highly recommend her to anyone!

Chris was great. The animals were well cared for and my house was spotless when I got home after being gone for five days. It was so nice to come home. I would definitely use Chris again to house sit. She is wonderful.

Ashlee was wonderful! We were out of town and had little to no cell service in the area but every time I got in a better service spot I was able to see multiple updates from her. My dog is a senior boy with multiple medical issues including some spinal damage that has caused partial paralysis. She was able to follow instructions and give him his meds and his routine. I came home to a very relaxed and happy dog so I am confident she took the best care of him. Previously when having my aunt or mom take care of him, I would always come home to an anxious fur baby but not this time! Thank you for all that you did for me and Leonidas, Ashlee! Would highly recommend 10/10 ?

Brandi is so sweet, our dogs absolutely loved being home and having such a caring and kind person there while we were away. She took our pups for walks, was sensitive to our one puppies skittishness and did so well managing through those situations. I highly recommend Brandi, especially if you have a pup who scares easily.

Joshua was great. We do not often use Rover, but have, for the most part, had great experiences from this App. We have a friend who watches our fur baby AJ. But we needed someone and requested Joshua. He was kind, prompt and AJ took a liking to him right away. Joshua arrived on time, checked in with us. Sent pictures to let us know how AJ was doing… Joshua’s communication was wonderful. I would highly recommend Joshua for your pet sitting needs. Thanks Joshua!
