Dog Boarding in Blacksville

This was our second time using Solar for sitting our elderly dog. Even with a last minute booking he was extremely attentive and flexible. Will definitely book again.

We are from Tennessee, and needed an out of town sitter for a few days for our Black Lab. Our daughter had used Megan before, and luckily she was available. Our dog Gus and her Labs became fast friends, and Megan treated him like one of the family. Megan gave lots of updates with feedback and pictures. I would 100% recommend her!

She was very relaxed around my shy dog. Seemed like Nova had a great stay!

As always, Amber and her family took care of my puppy as if she was theirs. Lots of play time with other pups and lots of care from the family. So much appreciation for the stay.

We loved Jess so much. She really came thru for us in the 11th hour and was so very thoughtful with Chloe. We will definitely have Jess look after little miss queen Chloe next time I’m visiting West Virginia!!!

Lexi took on a challenge with my little geriatric guy and did an amazing job with him. He’s 16 and has separation anxiety to top it off, so he requires pretty much constant companionship and extra care. Lexi asked us tons of good questions when she picked Max up and followed every instruction to the T. Max even got to spend some time with a puppy and with another dog who stayed with Lexi while he was there, and Lexi made sure that would be ok before we left for our trip. Having Lexi to care for Max while I was away made me feel a million times better about leaving. I don’t get away much anymore because he’s really too old for me to leave, but this was a big family trip and we had to go. Thank goodness Max had Lexi!

I can’t recommend Megan enough. My dog had the best time on her pupcation; she looked genuinely happy and comfortable in the photos I was sent. Going on vacation is so much more enjoyable when you know your dog is being cared for with so much love.

Our dog was well taken care of and we received regular updates. Highly recommended.

Tessa was able to take our pup last minute after another person cancelled. She had a nice yard for him to run and play in and he seemed to have a good time! I also received a few pictures.

Our dog was very well taken care of. Very responsive and sent pictures often. Would book again.

Mckayla and Christian were the BEST hosts to moke; they even got him a sweater and a toy! He was so well loved and taken care of—thank you both!!!

Joni took excellent care of my dogs. She was very diligent with sending updates and photos. She was happy to answer any and every question we had before boarding our dogs. She truly treats the dogs as if they were her own and spoiled them like crazy. Very happy with everything. Both dogs came home happy and tired from all the fun

Aria was fantastic with Sophie. The photos helped us relax while we were away. I would highly recommend her.

We had a great experience leaving our 2 dogs with Megan! She kept in contact with us and sent pictures to keep us updated on how the dogs were doing. She has a spacious house and fenced in yard so I know our energetic girls had plenty of room to run and play! Our one dog has separation anxiety and Megan was sure to keep an eye out for any symptoms and was able to take good care of her. We would use Megan again and recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter!
