House Sitting in Moose

We had the amazing good fortune using Rover for the first time of getting Elizabeth J for 7 days. She kindly met with us for a overview meeting about our very idiosyncratic westie 3 weeks before our departure (i.e. dietary restrictions, barking control, neighborhood issues with wildlife, etc.). The communication with her was amazing -- she responded right away whenever we texted about last minute details and she was very good about sending updates. When we arrived home, Maisie had been obviously well cared for as was our house. Elizabeth is a wonderful person - super responsible, trustworthy, caring, and kind. We hope she is available next time we travel and for sure will look for her again. Highly recommended -- if there were 10 stars on the rating, she'd deserve 100.

Moriah was awesome! She took great care of our boy, gave him plenty of love and exercise, and sent regular updates with photos. She left our apartment exactly as we left it with her. She even washed the towels that she used. We will definitely contact her again whenever we need a dogsitter/housesitter.

Gates was absolutely amazing with Blue, Rizzo, Opal, and Mushu while we were away! He took such great care of all four of our pets, each with their own personality and needs. We got regular updates and photos, which really helped us relax on our trip knowing they were in great hands. When we got home, everyone was happy, healthy, and clearly well-loved. Gates went above and beyond, and we’re so grateful. Highly recommend and would absolutely book again!

Abby took great care of our 3 dogs! She was communitive and took some pictures of our fur babies. Abby also kept the house clean, washed our sheets and left the dogs some of their favorite treats. I really appreciated that Abby was flexible with our schedule. I asked her to stay another day and she didn't hesitate to help us out. Thank you Abby for everything!!

Stephanie was great with our two big dogs! She handled them well and left the house looking tidy.

Liza and her whole family are wonderful. They took excellent care of my 4-month-old puppy and were very flexible with all our needs.

Heather was great. One of our dogs had a bit of a medical scare while we were out of the country and she communicated quickly so we could problem solve together. Really appreciated how reliable she was.

We couldn’t be happier with the care Claire provided for our dog, Butters, our cat, and our home while we were away for a week. Her communication was outstanding—she kept us updated with photos and messages, giving us so much peace of mind throughout our trip. Claire went above and beyond, taking Butters on long walks and ensuring both pets were well cared for. When we returned, they were both content and happy, which was such a relief and made us realize how much better this arrangement was than boarding. On top of that, she took excellent care of our home, leaving everything spotless and well-maintained. Claire has truly earned our trust with her reliability, compassion, and excellent care for both our pets and our space. Ana has been a fantastic house sitter, leaving my house cleaner than it was when I left! She watched 2 of my Labradors for 9 days, and one of them is still a puppy. I was a little nervous because I hadn't left my pup before... but she understands dogs well and they got a lot of exercise, which is exactly what they needed. I highly recommend her and would definitely use her services again.
