House Sitting in Alameda

Nicky was a wonderful caretaker for our anxious dog when we were traveling! She sent very cute photos and was super flexible when we had to make a last minute change. She is now our go-to for dog care assistance.

Diana took great care of our elderly doc (and the rest of our brood - 3 cats and 2 dogs in total). Everyone did great and we'll be booking again as soon as we have another travel opportunity. Thanks Diana!

Sasha is amazing. We have a very nervous border collie and she didn’t do well on our vacation last year. We searched for someone that was patient, empathetic, and loved to throw tennis balls and Sasha fit the bill. She sent us pictures and texts to help put us at ease.

Somewhat of an odd review because on the day I was supposed to leave on my trip, I wrenched my back and had to cancel. However, at least for that day I didn't feel comfortable walking my dog, fearing really hurting my back. So Tami came that morning and took my very suspicious dog on their first walk together. By the time they got back, they were fast friends. By that afternoon I felt comfortable enough to take the dog on easy walks so I didn't need Tami for the rest of the three days. However, she kept offering to come by each day and take Lucy for her walks if my walk wasn't feeling well. I really appreciated her remaining on call and following up. I look forward to actually having Tami and Lucy spend a few nights together in the future.

Best. Dogsitter. Ever. I’d like to add my review to the already long list of stellar reviews for Heather. Heather dog sat for my two dogs during a 2 day work trip recently. At our meet and greet she was calm and confident (even with my excitable pit bull girl) and the girls loved her. She sent regular updates during my trip, and even made herself available to do one extra feed/walk when my flight home was delayed at the last minute. When I got home, I found an apartment that was cleaner than how I had left it! She’s wonderful and you shouldn’t hesitate to book her.

Laura did an excellent job house sitting with Echo. My dog is reactive with new people and Laura was willing to go through several meet ups to build a relationship with her. Despite Echo having a reaction when she first arrived, Laura stuck it out and waited for Echo to re-acclimate to her in a new context (i.e., at the house instead of the park). I got updates and pictures every day. Echo was a happy camper and got lots of play time. Will absolutely book with Laura again!

Melina is an incredible critter sitter - she’s the only person we’ve trusted for years now to make sure our fur babies are safe and sound when we have to leave them at home! Our house is always exactly at we left it, if not better and cleaner! ;) Thank you as always for caring for our crew like they were your own, Melina!! Until next time…

Qishu did a great job taking care of the boys and even putting up with their rough housing and cleaning up after them! I really appreciate all she did and Ian too !

Josie was wonderful, responding promptly to a last minute request for dog sitting and then taking excellent care of Odie. Many photos and updates were provided, and Odie returned home happy and exhausted - just as I would hope! I would definitely book Josie again.

Ashley was amazing with my two dogs while I was away! She was very communicative and put me at ease during my trip. I have already booked her again and want her to watch my dogs any time I am away in the future! Overall, a great experience.

Dane was an excellent dog sitter. He stayed at our house, took care of three dogs and got them lots of exercise through walks and playing ball. He was a great communicator and sent lots of pictures of our happy dogs. I highly recommend him!!

Dennis is an absolute gem and we are so lucky to have found him! Our dog Beau is a large and rambunctious rottweiler and Dennis is great with him. He also took immaculate care of our home while he stayed with beau and we returned to everything just as we left it. I would highly recommend his services to anybody

Cara was kind, calm and communicative. She gave good attention to our senior dog and when we returned from our trip, both of our dogs seemed at peace. The house was left very clean as well. I will definitely be asking Cara to watch our pups again!

Michelle was amazing! We reached out last minute, only a week before our trip and Michelle was super prompt with responding and setting up a meet and greet. While we were gone she did a great job of keeping us updated about our pup and sending pictures. We have a senior dog with some health needs and specific care requirements and she took such good care of him. The house was left cleaner than when she came! I would highly recommend Michelle - especially to folks with senior dogs.
