House Sitting in Alamitos

From the first time I met Rose for our meet and greet, I was so impressed with how organized she was - she asked thoughtful questions and took detailed notes about how to care for our two dogs and three cats (including one very high energy young dog). She definitely has a way with animals - the dogs loved her immediately and the cats came out of hiding very quickly! Both Rose and her husband were both so nice and took great care of both our pets and our house. We got lots of photo updates that reassured us that our fur kids were having a great time, and our house was spotless when we got home! We will definitely book Rose again!

We’re so grateful we found Becky on Rover. We needed a new dog sitter for our 9 year old Goldendoodle, Lucy, and Becky was outstanding. Amazing communication, she prioritized Lucy’s needs, and she was just wonderful to work with. It gave us real peace of mind on vacation, knowing Lucy (and our home) were in good hands. We will definitely book with Becky again - thank you, Becky!

Stephanie was extremely attentive and thorough in her care for our dog and cat. Our cat and dog can be a little particular and Stephanie won them both over. Will for sure be asking her to care for our fur babies in the future.

Cali was great! Our pup was so tired from playing all weekend he just wanted to cuddle on the couch when we got home. We got lots of pictures and updates. Our house was well kept too. Would recommend and have Cali watch our pets again!

Tiana was efficient and did everything we asked. Very thankful how she kept in touch and sent us photos. We definitely knew the dogs were well looked after while we were away.

Fluff is a very introverted and reserved dog. He rarely lets strangers pet him and is quite selective about who he allows into his circle. Even though Sophia has done one drop-in visit before, it was a huge step for Fluff to welcome her into his world. Sophia was wonderfully patient with him, giving him the space he needed while also making it clear that she was there for him. She took him on plenty of walks, made sure he was fed, and even gave him his evening massages. I could tell from all the adorable photos and videos she sent that he was gradually becoming more comfortable with her. She was also very respectful of our home and I truly appreciate the care and attention she showed both to Fluff and to our space. We’d love to have her pet sit again!

Kathy house sat our house and took care of our cat - Pierre - while we were away overseas for a couple of weeks. We usually have friends take care of him for short trips, but this being an extended period of time over a holiday period, we thought of having someone house sit for us. It was our first time with Rover.com, but everything went really well and to our satisfaction. Kathy is very professional and understands cats (Pierre adopted her from her first visit). A few days prior to our departure, we met one last time with Kathy to cover Pierre's habits and preferences. Kathy came prepared with questions after having read our instructions on Rover. While we were away, Kathy sent us regular pictures and updates on Pierre and the house in general, which helped us enjoy our trip even more, knowing the Pierre was in good hands. We will definitely think of hiring Kathy's services again the next time we leave for a trip!

Joy is absolutely wonderful! Managing my dogs is no small task - Joy handles everything with patience, professionalism, and genuine care. It’s clear she truly loves animals and treated my dogs like they’re her own. She is reliable, communicative, and always keeps me updated with thoughtful notes and photos. I really appreciate how attentive she is to each dog’s personality and needs. Knowing they are in such capable hands gives me complete peace of mind. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and kind, I highly recommend Joy. We are so grateful to have found her!

Andrea did an exceptional job in seeking to understand mine and Gideon's needs, asking thoughtful questions, and providing consistent and comforting updates and feedback. She is pleasant and seems to have a kind heart. She went above and beyond my expectations, and ensured my personal needs were accommodated while ensuring for the well-being of my special needs boi. I would highly recommend her to anybody who may be apprehensive of such services (because we love them so much and hate to be away from them), but she delivered! Diana was absolutely amazing with Winnie, I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She was incredibly communicative, thoughtful, and clearly cared so much about her. I loved getting regular updates, and it was obvious Winnie felt comfortable and well cared for the entire time. It made being away so much easier, and I felt totally at ease throughout. She left my home spotless. I would 100% book with her again and highly, highly recommend!
