Christine was an amazing dog host! Great communication, caring for my senior dog, and we did an intro with her dog Shrimp ahead of time to make sure they would hit it off together. She sent pictures and updates, and was very accommodating for our crazy schedule. 10/10, would absolutely hire again.

Hope is very sweet. She is taking care of Marley very well. She also updates with the photos.

Lucia and Cham made Rev feel right at home! Their home is calm and welcoming and just the place I'd want to leave my dog while I'm away. Rev will definitely be back. :)

Niyuan is an amazing carer. She has a real love for animals and they seem to really sense that in her. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Will definitely be a repeat client! We left our 1-year-old dog Stevie with Danielle for 11 nights. It was our first time using Rover. Couldn't be happier with how she was cared for. Having multiple dogs around really helped Stevie's separation anxiety and Danielle helped with OUR separation anxiety by sending loads of photos and videos. Danielle is flexible, always responsive, and thinks ahead of time about possible conflicts with other dogs. Really appreciate having her as a resource. Will definitely book Stevie here again!

I had a weekend trip planned and sadly family and friends couldn't sit Aggie, though was recommended by a friend to try Rover. So with about a week before the trip, I wanted to find a neighbor that was communicative, responsive, had and has current experience with dogs, and is familiar with dog sitting. On a brief search, I found Marlene and Marlene's mom with lots of positive reviews and close by to me! I reached out, checked in a bit, and made arrangements for a pre-dog sit meeting for everyone to meet one another which gave me peace of mind. Marlene was responsive, communicative, and thoughtful. I appreciated the photos Marlene sent me during the weekend. Aggie's an older foster dog, and Marlene was quick to share some questions and concerns which we were able to figure out together on a brief phone call which I really appreciated. I'm new to Rover, and our conversation helped me to be communicative about Aggie's conditions as an elder dog, reassure Marlene, and to update Aggie's profile. I was happy to see Aggie when I picked her up and Marlene and Marlene's mom were very kind, thoughtful, and open about sharing the latest of Aggie's conditions. If you're in the east bay/Berkeley/Oakland/Emeryville area, I recommend Marlene and Marlene's mom!!

Mariola took excellent care of our dogs while we were away. I really appreciated hearing from her each day and all the photos she sent! We would absolutely call on her next time we need a sitter!

Catherine might just be the best dogsitter I've ever met! She was so incredibly warm and friendly, and provided plenty of updates while I was away. Larry seemed to be having the best time with Kizmet and other furry pals, too, and I'm so glad he had his own vacation! Will definitely rely on Catherine again.

Luna is a wonderful dog sitter! Cosmo, my dog was thrilled and happy to have stayed with her and her lovely dog, Jim! Jim was also the perfect fur host, showing Cosmo where they should play and that it was okay to run around and play together. Luna has a large and lovely yard and Cosmo enjoyed the serenity of the yard and home. Cosmo can be shy and aloof, and he does not react well to negative energy. But, he warmed up to Luna because of her thoughtful and positive approach to care giving. I trusted her to take good care of him. And, she did! Cosmo can be a velcro dog as he is with us practically 24/7, so it eased our anxiety to know that she was there for him. Thank you Luna for taking good care of Cosmo. Much aloha, Diane and Philip G.

Porsche did so well with my sister’s dog. The dog is anxious/used to be a stray but Porsche has so much experience with sensitive dogs and she made Pepper feel right at home. She gave many updates and pictures which also made me feel reassured at all times!

Ashish was an absolute lifesaver during the holidays and took such wonderful care of Kinako. He was incredibly responsive, kind, and easy to work with, and made the entire experience stress-free during a busy travel time. When weather delays impacted our return, Ashish was flexible and gracious about extending the booking, which we truly appreciated. He followed all of Kinako’s feeding and medication needs perfectly and was especially thoughtful and patient with Kinako’s anxiety around new people and other dogs. Ashish also sent daily photos, which meant so much to us while we were away. We felt completely at ease knowing Kinako was in such great hands and would enthusiastically book with Ashish again!

Ross was wonderful! Luna and Riley had a great time during their stay. He was friendly, responsive, and followed all care instructions perfectly, including giving medication. The girls were happy and well cared for, a truly perfect stay! I’ll definitely book with him again.

I’ve sent my Max to two different kennels and he always comes back so sad, to the point that he doesn’t respond to us petting him. I wanted to try something more personable so I tried Rover. Maria was great and sent me photos and updates of Max during his stay. She noticed he wasn’t eating and made him special food for him with my permission of course. He came back so happy this time! He literally was smiling and happy to see us. One of her neighbors stopped my husband on the way out to tell him how much all the other neighbors liked Max. I’m sure they met him several times during his walks with Maria. I would highly recommend her!

Abigail was wonderful to coordinate a sit with by offering a meet and greet, flexible with timing and some last minute changes, and took Manchi on lots of walks and hikes!

Sherry was great with my shy and nervous pup, Seven. She was very gentle and gave Seven space. I could tell Seven was comfortable and cozy and Sherry’s home. She also sent pictures and updates. Thanks Sherry!
