Christine was an amazing dog host! Great communication, caring for my senior dog, and we did an intro with her dog Shrimp ahead of time to make sure they would hit it off together. She sent pictures and updates, and was very accommodating for our crazy schedule. 10/10, would absolutely hire again.

Hope is very sweet. She is taking care of Marley very well. She also updates with the photos.

Lucia and Cham made Rev feel right at home! Their home is calm and welcoming and just the place I'd want to leave my dog while I'm away. Rev will definitely be back. :)

Niyuan is an amazing carer. She has a real love for animals and they seem to really sense that in her. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Danielle and Joel were amazing at looking after our dog and I will definitely be booking with them again. We got consistent picture/video updates, they were super responsive and it was so reassuring to see that they treated her like one of their own! Our dog got to go on hikes and many walks during her stay. Thank you!!

I had a weekend trip planned and sadly family and friends couldn't sit Aggie, though was recommended by a friend to try Rover. So with about a week before the trip, I wanted to find a neighbor that was communicative, responsive, had and has current experience with dogs, and is familiar with dog sitting. On a brief search, I found Marlene and Marlene's mom with lots of positive reviews and close by to me! I reached out, checked in a bit, and made arrangements for a pre-dog sit meeting for everyone to meet one another which gave me peace of mind. Marlene was responsive, communicative, and thoughtful. I appreciated the photos Marlene sent me during the weekend. Aggie's an older foster dog, and Marlene was quick to share some questions and concerns which we were able to figure out together on a brief phone call which I really appreciated. I'm new to Rover, and our conversation helped me to be communicative about Aggie's conditions as an elder dog, reassure Marlene, and to update Aggie's profile. I was happy to see Aggie when I picked her up and Marlene and Marlene's mom were very kind, thoughtful, and open about sharing the latest of Aggie's conditions. If you're in the east bay/Berkeley/Oakland/Emeryville area, I recommend Marlene and Marlene's mom!!

My dog Fred has always had a little bit of anxiety when I go out of town. But not when he stays at Mariola’s place. He’s always so happy to see her and her daughter, and always looks healthy and calm when I go to pick him up. I can’t say enough about what a relief it is for Free to have a second home at Mariola’s place.

Catherine was amazing. She cared for our 7-month-old puppy, Cricket, for a whole week while we were away, and we felt completely at ease and new that she was in great hands. From when we first met her, it was clear that Catherine is a real dog person -- warm attentive and genuinely excited to spend time with Cricket. It was obvious that she truly cared about her and enjoyed having her. Her dog, Kizmet was also a sweet role model for Cricket. Catherine sent the cutest photos and videos of Kizmet and Cricket cuddling and napping together, along with daily updates from the dog park and their adventures. She sent photos, videos, and little notes every day, which really put me at ease knowing how happy and well cared for Cricket was. The day we came back we arrived home at 8:30 at night and she tired Cricket out with lots of park visits so she would be tired when we got home. And she even gave Cricket a bath before pickup! We’re so grateful to have found Catherine. Nothing better than truly feeling at ease when traveling knowing that your dog is in such loving hands. Thank you, Catherine! You're the best. We'll definitely be in touch again the next time we're away.

Luna is a wonderful dog sitter! Cosmo, my dog was thrilled and happy to have stayed with her and her lovely dog, Jim! Jim was also the perfect fur host, showing Cosmo where they should play and that it was okay to run around and play together. Luna has a large and lovely yard and Cosmo enjoyed the serenity of the yard and home. Cosmo can be shy and aloof, and he does not react well to negative energy. But, he warmed up to Luna because of her thoughtful and positive approach to care giving. I trusted her to take good care of him. And, she did! Cosmo can be a velcro dog as he is with us practically 24/7, so it eased our anxiety to know that she was there for him. Thank you Luna for taking good care of Cosmo. Much aloha, Diane and Philip G.

Porsche was an excellent dog sitter for our 7 month old puppy. She sent us regular updates of him going on walks, playing with other dogs in the park. Our pup came back to us healthy, happy, and very tired from all of his play time. I definitely recommend hiring Porsche to watch or walk your pup!

Ashish was WONDERFUL! He sent tons of photos and updates and made me feel so relaxed about leaving my dog with Ashish and his family. My dog obviously also was so comfortable at Ashish's home. Thank you Ashish and family for hosting Theo. I am sure we (Theo that is) will be back.

Ross was wonderful! Luna and Riley had a great time during their stay. He was friendly, responsive, and followed all care instructions perfectly, including giving medication. The girls were happy and well cared for, a truly perfect stay! I’ll definitely book with him again.

I’ve sent my Max to two different kennels and he always comes back so sad, to the point that he doesn’t respond to us petting him. I wanted to try something more personable so I tried Rover. Maria was great and sent me photos and updates of Max during his stay. She noticed he wasn’t eating and made him special food for him with my permission of course. He came back so happy this time! He literally was smiling and happy to see us. One of her neighbors stopped my husband on the way out to tell him how much all the other neighbors liked Max. I’m sure they met him several times during his walks with Maria. I would highly recommend her!

Abigail was wonderful to coordinate a sit with by offering a meet and greet, flexible with timing and some last minute changes, and took Manchi on lots of walks and hikes!
