Dog Boarding in Aptos

Jenna and her family took such good care of our puppy. She sent photos and daily updates of how he was doing which made us be able to enjoy our vacation with peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. She was also very flexible when we needed to make a last minute change to the pick up date. Jenna even let us keep a frisbee that our puppy enjoyed playing with while at her house. Definitely will bring our puppy back to Jenna’s home the next time we leave town.

Arianna and her husband took amazing care of our dog Bailey during our wedding weekend in Santa Cruz. This was our first time using Rover and Arianna set the bar super high - we really appreciated the updates throughout the weekend and her flexibility with drop-off and pick-up due to our hectic wedding weekend schedule. Would highly recommend - thank you Arianna!

Mike and Patty took “Buddy” into their home and treated him like family. Exercise, running around the house playing with their dog “Scout” with doggie door to beautiful, and fenced-in backyard. His first time away from us and what must have been like a fun filled week at a luxury summer camp. He seems more socialized around other dogs also. Cath and Brian were super friendly and took great care of our dog. Highly suggested! We would use them again in the future on our next travels.

Kika had a great time with Nathan and they have a great location for dogs to get plenty of beautiful beach walks.

Yajaira was great!!! She sent lots of pictures and videos, and took on the task of helping my new puppy learn to play with her dog Luna! Jax was happy and upon return didn’t give me any problems.

Yu took such amazing care of our 3yr old Golden retriever while we were away for nine days on holiday. I was so impressed with her communication style, she would send pics and videos each day with a little blurb about her day. I thought she went above and beyond with her care taking her for long walks and runs with other dogs. I will definitely reach out to hear in future when we travel and can't recommend her enough. The only hard things was I think our dog was a bit sad for the first week, she really enjoyed playing with other dogs Yu was watching.

Nancy is an incredibly committed and caring pet sitter. I left my young and highly needy (separation anxiety) doggie with her over the holiday, and returned to find my pup happy and calm. I highly recommend Nancy!!!

Cyndy is wonderful with my dog. My dog had a great visit and seemed happy and tired when she came home. She sent me lots of updates and cute pictures. And she was flexible on pick up time when we had traffic on our way back. We look forward to the next visit. Thanks!

Denise was able to watch my dog while I was in town and did such a wonderful job. Her home is spacious and the yard was perfect for Jude to run around in! They took very good care of her, she was almost reluctant to leave with me :) will definitely be reaching out to them again the next time I pass through

From the moment we met Lisa we could tell she was a calm, caring animal lover. Since moving to the are in late 2018, we hadn’t traveled without our dog. The pandemic certainly didn’t make it easier but we had had a bad experience with a day care/ boarding facility. Our dog is more human-oriented;in home boarding is better for her than being surrounded with loads of other dogs. We had several friends recommend Rover and we finally took the leap of faith. We did a temperament test to assure that our pup and Lisa’s dog would tolerate one another. Her dog is terrific—such a laid back guy. Drop off day was hard for both of us. Lisa gave updates twice that day which eased our minds. Daily check-ins thereafter showed our dog relaxing and smiling. When we picked her up she was looking great, not stressed out and playful. We are so appreciative to Lisa and her pets for taking such good care of our pup.

Baron had an awesome stay, it was clear they enjoyed each other. He had lots of attention, walks and outings and I received lots of updates so I knew all was well. We would book with Nicole again in a heartbeat!

Deborah and her family were totally welcoming to my dog Rosa. I would recommend her unconditionally. She followed all instructions carefully, walked Rosa energetically, and provided excellent feedback about their time together.
