Dog Boarding in Aptos

Mike and Patty took “Buddy” into their home and treated him like family. Exercise, running around the house playing with their dog “Scout” with doggie door to beautiful, and fenced-in backyard. His first time away from us and what must have been like a fun filled week at a luxury summer camp. He seems more socialized around other dogs also. Elizabeth was wonderful. She had our shorky for 3 weeks. She sent photos and updates on a regular basis. Our little fella came home happy. We would definitely leave him with her again. Thank you Elizabeth!!

We could not imagine better care for Ranger while we are away. I received delightful photos and updates of all his play, fun walks, and peaceful snoozes. Ranger still has quite a bit of young energy and I worried at one point that maybe he was being over the top. Anusha kindly reassured me that Ranger was "being himself" and that's what they most want for dogs who stay with them. Thank you Anusha for loving our boy! He had an amazing time.

Kimberly is always our number one choice for our dog, Shiloh! She sends us photos everyday of our boy having fun and enjoying his stay. We always try to use Kimberly to watch our dog and have always had a pleasant experience.

Juliana was an absolute gem for our first puppy adventure! We’re first-time dog owners with Chandler, our sweet English Lab puppy, and we were a bit nervous booking last-minute care. Juliana made it so easy—she happily accepted him with zero hesitation, even on short notice. From day one, she put us completely at ease. She sent tons of adorable pictures and updates throughout the stay, which meant the world to us as anxious new parents. She went above and beyond by helping socialize Chandler (super important for our outgoing but still-learning pup), and she even worked on some basic training with him. Her own dogs were incredibly gentle and welcoming—Chandler especially adored Cannoli, and it was clear they all had a great time playing together. Seeing how happy and confident she came home made us so grateful. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Juliana again (and we already plan to!). If you’re looking for someone patient, communicative, and genuinely great with dogs—especially puppies—she’s the one. Thank you, Juliana!

Nabil and Sunny were amazing with my Goldendoodle Bambi. They sent many pictures and videos everyday that Bambi was with them. They took care of Bambi with so much love that we were worried he may not want to come back home.. lol. They made sure he got his food on time, took long walks, and even played with his favorite frisbee with him. I am so glad we have found a home for Bambi when we are away.

We had a great experience with Qi! She kept us consistently updated while we were away, sending messages and photos that really put our minds at ease. It was clear our Simba was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. We truly appreciated the communication and attention she gave. Michelle and Michael provided top notch care for Magnus when we were on our week long road trip. Multiple times per day updates with photos and videos kept us apprised of his daily wellbeing. Magnus was happy and relaxed and probably enjoyed being there more than his boring life at home, lol. Thank you, Michelle and Michael!!

Brian and Kyle were very communicative and caring about our dogs. Good quality walks and play time daily. We were worry-free with our dogs in their care, would definitely book again!

This was my first time using Rover to find a sitter for my dog. Nancy and her family took care of my dog like it was their family dog. I would highly recommend Nancy, I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her. I received several pictures of Mimi during her stay. 5 star dog sitter!!!!

Stasha was great! This was our first time leaving Copper, and as a first-time dog mom, I was definitely a little nervous and probably texted her a million times too many lol but she was so kind and patient with all my questions and kept me updated with the sweetest photos and videos. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was safe, and playing and being loved on, and even snuggled up with her at night! We’d absolutely use her services again in the future. Joyce and her family took exceptional care of Frida. They sent me pictures during her stay, communicated frequently and gave all the love and care she needed during her stay. I will definitely bring Frida back when we need again.

We left our 9 month old Great Dane (125 lbs), Beau, with Jenna and her family for a week! We were desperate to find someone since our previously set up dog sitter cancelled on us last minute. We had never used Rover before and had only left Beau for 4 days previously with his dog trainer. Jenna was very quick to respond to my initial questions. She lives almost an hour away from our house, but again we were desperate since we needed care for our big puppy! She made me feel at ease so we booked her. My husband was the one who did drop off and pick up but I was the one in constant communication with Jenna throughout the week. Jenna would send updates and pictures daily. We could clearly see that Beau was loved on by her 4 kids with the pictures they sent! He looked like he was at home on their couches and beds! He was very spoiled there! (I am okay with that for pet sitters!) I was able to enjoy my vacation without worrying about Beau. We will be having Jenna and her family watch Beau again in the next few weeks, the drive is worth it to us since he was so well taken care of ! My husband said Jenna and her husband were very kind. Jenna even made us a collage of pictures of his time with them! Our first experience with Rover was a great one, thanks to Jenna and her Family! Jenna- Get ready to see Beau in 3 weeks! I am sure he will be so excited to see you guys again!

Had a great experience boarding our dog JoJo with Jennifer. Her entire family, including her four legged kids made JoJo feel right at home. It’s clear that Jennifer loves animals, and gives them constant attention and affection while in her care. Throughout JoJo’s stay, Jennifer gave us regular updates with photos which we loved and appreciated. We very highly recommend her services!

Miko and Zuko both loved their stays with Jennifer!! Her family is a perfect choice for any dog. Noah, Jennifer's son, and his sister gave much love to both of our dogs. Jennifer accommodated our dogs' needs and schedule throughly and sent multiple daily updates :) Jennifer and her family are wonderful hosts and dog-sitters!
