House Sitting in Arcata

I can't give Zalie enough stars! This was my first time using Rover for house sitting. I was terribly anxious as this would also be my first time leaving my pet with someone for a few days. I can't thank Zalie enough for her kindness and commitment. Zalie showed up early, stayed late, sent me a ton of photos every day and kept me in the loop about day to day activities. I'm so grateful for Zalie being a best pal to my little guy whilst I was out of town. If you need a pal for your pet, don't hesitate!

Thank you Celia for taking care of Poppy while we were out of town. I really appreciated the photos and the communication. It helped me rest at ease knowing she was in good hands and was able to stay in her own home while we were away. I appreciate your kindness and care.

This is the second time Alex and Kelsey have stayed with our fur babies. We returned to very happy pets and a super clean house. They send pictures daily which reassures me and is very appreciated. We’ve got them booked for a longer trip next month and feel very confident that our babies will be well taken care of. Thank you!!!!

Alex is FANTASTIC. Would highly recommend. My partner and I had her house sit and take care of our big dog (who can be reactive) while we were away and she did amazing. We got daily updates, pictures of their adventures, and the house looked incredible when we got back. We will definitely be hiring her again!

Zach is an amazing, kind sitter. He took great care of our pets for over two weeks, and gave us peace-of-mind while we traveled to Japan. Our Pyrenees mix (140 lbs) is very particular about people, and immediately warmed up to him. Zach quickly bonded with our pets, sent us daily updates and photos. He stayed in our home and kept it tidy. We feel very fortunate to have found him and will be calling on him again. Highest recommendations!!

Annalee was dog sitting my two ladies, Liberty and Ophelia, and my 4 goldfish at my house while we were on a camping trip. She did an amazing job taking care of my animals and I really appreciated her checking in twice a day with a detailed message and photos. She was so quick to respond to my questions and really made me feel comfortable about going on a trip without the doggies. I can absolutely recommend Annalee as a house/dogsitter. She is so polite and thorough

Deanna was absolutely amazing with Esther!!! She took her on all kinds of adventures and kept me posted with pictures and videos. Esther looked SOOO HAPPY !! I would recommend her to anyone.

My boys were living their best life with Wendy! She took them on lots of adventures where they made many friends ? they were well taken care of and loved and I received many photo updates throughout Wendy’s stay. She was very communicative, but also let me enjoy my trip. Look forward to having her again.

Vanessa was such a great sitter, and both dogs loved her! I got plenty of updates and pictures which made me feel great knowing everything is going well at home! I definitely recommend using her and I will be booking again soon!

Jolie was a wonderful dog and house sitter, we came home to a content dog and clean house. She sent us photos of our dog and daily reports, walked her 3 times a day and checked in with any questions about our dog's care. We would definitely have her sit again.

Skyler was great! She was very communicative sending photos and keeping in touch. Everything was in great condition when I returned home and Lilikoi was happy. I highly recommend Skyler.

After my dogsitter canceled just a day before Thanksgiving, i found Jeremy and he offered to come over right away and to discuss the details for his stay in my place for the following days. Jeremy had a great way to connect to my girl and she fall in love with him right away. That's usually not her nature. I knew i can trust him and felt very lucky and relieved. He handled her accidents and her bloody heat without complaining, only with compassion for her situation. We hope we will see him again!!

Halley was so wonderful! She stayed with our tripod jazz all day and sent so many photos. She made sure to get him the right amount of exercise and take him on beautiful walks in his stroller. She arrived on time and was so caring. We will definitely hire her again! Jazz approved!

Tyler took great care of our dogs as well as our house, and is an excellent communicator. Rest assured your pets and home will be well taken cared care of with him!
