Dog Boarding in Auburn

Grant was fantastic. Mack was introduced to the other dogs gently and cautiously. We received some wonderful pictures and comments every day showing all of the fun Mack was having. When we picked him up he was happy, healthy and excited to see us but also a little sad to leave.

Tamara was fantastic. Kaboodle loved his stay. He was worn out once we got home which is a plus because he has plenty of energy to spare. It's clear he had a great time!

Michael is the best! He's attentive to the needs of the pet as well as the owner. You can't go wrong with Michael, I highly recommend his service. Also appreciate the pictures. Thanks again Michael for your loving care.

Aron was a very gracious host who took care of my Buddha. Buddha enjoyed being with all the other dogs. I was a little concerned at first at how many dogs were there but Aron did a great job of keeping them all together. He clearly has a gift with animals and loves what he does. Welcome to paradise! Linda & Dan have such a peaceful, grounded demeanor that our dog’s body language around them was calm and relaxed from the very beginning. She so clearly trusted and liked them both right away, and the videos they sent us showed her continuing to have fun and be happy there throughout her stay. Their pond was of course a big plus for our water-loving retriever! We also appreciate that they only take one or two dogs at a time, to simplify the social dynamic and to enable them to give each dog ample attention. Their behavioral coaching was relaxed and positive. Boundaries were clear and successful - Poppy wanted to do what they liked. And their gardens are so beautiful they could charge admission! How wonderful to be able to leave our loved one in such good, kind hands. Thank you, Linda and Dan!

Jamie was awesome! My dog, Murphy, was well cared for and Jamie made her part of the family while I was away. It was hard for me to leave Murphy for 2 weeks, but Jamie sent me pictures and updates of Murphy every day and I know she had a blast playing with Jamie’s kids! Jamie’s house was a home away from home for Murphy.

Michelle is very friendly and is awesome with communicating. Always in a very timely manner. I left my meeko with her for a long weekend and she was constantly sending updates and easy to reach. Will definitely book with her again!

Jena was amazing with our dog Hugsy - she sent us so many pictures throughout his stay so that we always knew he was in good hands :-) We highly recommend her!

Sohui was amazing. She did a meet and greet with Macy prior to her stay. She also sent us daily photos of her. Sohui was very responsive to any concerns that we have regarding Macy’s stay. Would definitely book again with her next time.

Shannon made us feel so comfortable leaving our baby with her. She gave us lots of updates and pictures, made sure she’s in good hands. Our dog looked so comfy and happy staying at her place. We will definitely come back for her boarding/daycare service! We recommend her 10/10!

Alesya is the best! It’s always nerve racking when we are taking a family trip and the need to pick a dog sitter becomes a need. We are always a little anxious and worried because we have two small dogs and they can be a handful. Alesya, made the experience very calming and reassuring. She made our first night, the most uncertain night, stress free and my dogs clicked with her quickly. Even though my dogs had really never spent time with other dogs, they had a chance to socialize and learn to play well with other dogs she was boarding. It was like they were on vacation as well. They looked healthy and happy when we picked them up and it was okviois they had been treated very well. I would highly recommend Alyesa to anyone looking for a good trustworthy and responsive sitter. She will be our family’s goto sitter anytime we travel. Thank you Alesya and family!!!

Pam took good care of our boy?. He’s still a pup and can be challenging, but Pam met the challenges and we returned to a happy healthy boy. We had a hiccup in our travel plans, but Pam was very flexible and worked through the issues with us. We’d love to have Pam care for Brutus on our next trip!

They did a fantastic job with our puppy, Noah, so much so that Noah didn’t want to leave their house when we went to go pick him up 😂 We were very nervous about leaving our puppy for the first time with people we’ve never met, but they eased our minds, were super warm and welcoming, and Noah took to them right away. They sent us messages and pics while he was in their care, which helped us relax and enjoy our trip. I would 100% recommend them and use their services again and again. Thank you for making our first ever experience on Rover a wonderful one.

So glad to have found Sandy for our 11 year old dog. I felt very comfortable having our pooch there even though she hasn’t been watched by people outside of the family often and has an anxious tendency being away from home. I hope Sandy will have Stella back

Alba and her family took great care of our dog Cece. They sent frequent updates and were very mindful of her schedule. We appreciated that they took time upfront to learn about her personality to make sure they could give her the best care possible. We felt very comfortable leaving Cece with them and hope she can stay again in the future.

Nadya and her family treat my pup like family. My girl knows when we’re on our way to their house and she gets so excited. I truly feel so comfortable leaving her with them. They are so sweet, welcoming and accommodating.

This feedback is for two reasons. First, I want to express my immense gratitude to Gregory for saving us during a very stressful moment. Our original sitter canceled the booking just two days before we were scheduled to drop off our dog. We found out after 5 PM on a Friday, which was incredibly stressful and frustrating, though we understand that unforeseen situations can occur. What was particularly upsetting was that when I searched for a new sitter, the fees were significantly higher due to the short notice. I reached out to Rover support and was disappointed to learn that there is no real contingency plan for last-minute sitter cancellations. A sitter's trustworthiness and reliability are paramount to building the company's reputation. This is why Gregory was such a blessing. He is a true asset to Rover. He took exceptional care of our German Shepherd for an entire week. He provided daily walks, ensured our dog ate on time, dedicated time for play, and made sure he had plenty of rest. We are so grateful for his professionalism and care. He is highly recommendable, and we will definitely be requesting his services again.
