Dog Boarding in Cardiff-by-the-Sea

Harley absolutely loved spending the weekend with Olivia and Sebastian while we were out of town. They took excellent care of her and treated our dog like it was their own. They went above and beyond, even taking her to the beach and then giving her a bath and towel rubdown after. Harley received the Royal treatment all weekend and had a blast playing outside with their sweet dog Zuko as well.

Linda & Zach were amazing with our lab, Coral! They sent pics and kept us updated, great communication throughout the whole process. They walked her, and she played with their dogs and lounged on the couch. She was living her best life with them! I highly recommend them and would definitely have them watch our dog again!

Thank you so much to May and Mark for such excellent care and love for our fur baby, Cody. He loves everything about his time with Pepper, on walks, and chillaxing at home. We love all the adorable photos and appreciate knowing Cody is in great care when we are away! 🐾❤️🐾

Takako and Eric were so great. My dog is usually shy and has a separation anxiety but he had so much fun with them and their doggies!! I would highly recommend!

We could not be more grateful for Mya! She was extremely attentive to our dog, sent us multiple updates throughout the weekend, and when our flight was canceled she was amenable to changing our pickup times. We will definitely book with Mya again!

We were so fortunate that Lori watched our 7 year-old mini goldendoodle at her home for two nights - she was amazing! We received many pictures, they went on frequent walks, and even adventured to the beach with our permission! She took in our doodle with such amazing love and care and was always proactive in communication and responsive during our trip, putting our mind at ease. Highly recommend!!

Kimberly took care of our mini cream dachshund, Hunny, over the weekend and we couldn’t have been more pleased! As first time Rover users, we appreciated the meet and greet that was arranged to make sure all the pups got along. That was very reassuring, being first time dog owners. We also loved getting daily pictures and updates of Hunny. She was obviously getting lots of loving attention. Without hesitation, I would recommend Kimberly to anyone who is in need of a caring, attentive caregiver to look after their special furbaby!

Cherie was wonderful with our pup! We had never left him with anyone we didn’t know but we could tell as soon as we met her that he would be in good hands. We’re so appreciative we found Cherie for this last minute need.

Kris was amazing with Boomer! I felt so comfortable leaving him in her care. I was out of the country for 10 days and knew he was in the best of hands. I got just the right amount of communication/ pictures via texts. I highly recommend her for a dog sitter.

This was my first time using Rover, and it went very well. Cynthia clearly knows how to handle dogs and made my dog feel comfortable at her house. Her dog was friendly, and the two got along well.

Liz took excellent care of my Labrador. She walked her and provided affection and good care. I recommend her, and will leave Moonshine with her again.

Evan was amazing with our dog. Provided updates and pictures/videos throughout our dog’s stay. And was responsive and helpful!

Carol watched our 12 year old shihtzu for 2 weeks when my husband and I went abroad. We were nervous because this is the longest we’ve ever left her with someone who wasn’t family, but Carol’s communication, care, and ability to treat our fur babe like her own quickly put us to ease. We will definitely be booking Carol for future trips and highly recommend her!

We had a wonderful experience with Amy. She's extremely caring and well organized. Everything went very smoothly and our pet came home happy!

Shannon was amazing with our mini Havapoo Benny! He stayed with her for a whole week and we got great pictures and updates throughout. She has such a sweet bernedoodle cash that Benny loved playing with. We would 100% have Benny stay with her again!
