House Sitting in Castroville

Rain was absolutely fantastic at caring for our two dogs while we were out of town. She took them on multiple walks, fed them on their routine, played with them, stayed for extended parts of the day with them and sent us daily photos and videos of them and status updates. She was incredibly communicative, responsive and helpful and we will gladly use her services again.

Genie was amazing! I received so many happy pictures of my pups while on vacation. They absolutely loved her. They got more excited to see her than my sister who popped in. I only wish she didn’t move out of the area the day I got home because I would have loved for her to be my permanent dog sitter. If you live in the Monterey area, I HIGHLY recommend reaching out to her.

Sara was an exceptional dog sitter, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care she provided. We have two dogs, including one who is very elderly and requires a great deal of extra attention, patience, and gentle handling. Sara went above and beyond to make sure both dogs were not only well cared for, but also comfortable and at ease while we were away. She was attentive, reliable, and clearly experienced with handling dogs with different needs. It gave us real peace of mind knowing our senior dog was in such capable and compassionate hands. Sara kept us updated and made sure every detail of their routine was followed closely. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible, kind, and dedicated dog sitter.

Nicole was Amazing!!! Firstly I had to add extra day due to flights changes and she was more then willing to accomodate. When we did the Meet and Greet, my dog grab his leash and wanted to go with her straight away. It was love at first sight for him!! She was very professional with confirming my departure and arriving times, and any special needs for Salvador. She followed all instructions to a T. This was the first time in 5 years, I have left my dog for longer then 48 hours, and first time I have left Salvador with a housesitter in America (We are from Australia). She eased my mind with regular updates. I returned to extremely clean house and very happy puppy. Nicole went above and beyond, including extra tasks not asked of her (like collecting chicken eggs and dealing with propone filling). I would recommend Nicole to anyone who would like someone to love, care, and walk their love ones. I have a couple more trips coming up this year and definitely will be booking Nicole again.

Spencer was great with my dog. He stayed at my home when I was in vacation and everything was in order when I got back. Spencer was very accommodating even when airline delays caused me to have to stay overnight in a different town because I missed my connecting flight. Will definitely have him watch my dog again.

Kostya was FABULOUS with our girls! Not everyone can handle high-energy working-line Belgian Shepherds, but Kostya hit it off with them from the moment he arrived. He is kind yet firm, with an innate dog sense that is hard to teach. He also dealt well with two "special needs" girls, one who needed daily eye drops and one who needed paw booties put on every morning and taken off every night. Those booties are challenging to fit on the dog's foot just right, but when we got home, we saw that Kostya had nailed it. Kostya is professional, responsible, and cared for our dogs and our home as if it were his home. We count ourselves *very* lucky to have found him!

We just moved to the area and on the lookout for an amazing ROVER for our golden retriever. We were blessed to find Jenna 💛 Dynamic personality and so so sweet, we all took to her right away! Jenna stayed at our house and took excellent care of everything. She went above and beyond with walks, pictures and updates. Very informative and communicative. So grateful for you! Thanks for being the best! We will definitely have Jenna back to hang with Pungo when we’re gone.
