Dog Boarding in Colfax

I have always felt uneasy about leaving my dog Savvy. She is an energetic, athletic Dobie who needs a lot of off leash exercise. So when I saw that Grant has 5 acres for the dogs to run and play, it sounded perfect for her. Like most Dobies, Savvy is super attached to her person and feels abandoned when I have left her before. I decided the answer is to keep her so busy running and exploring, she would be too happy and tired to miss me. Grant takes steps to keep visiting dogs calm and less anxious with a comfort pad, re-assurance, and maintaining a quiet routine without distractions. Sienna was fantastic! McGee loved his stay there and, while excited to see us, was also bummed to leave. I highly recommend her!

This couple is the sweetest people ever. From our meet and greet I knew Charlie would be in heaven since he immediately found the pond ❤? Our drop off was no different and they were willing to work with us if we could swing adding a day to the family trip but Disneyland is way too much for another day ? will definitely look for them in our future plans. They are safe, loving and Charlie came back so happy-go-lucky.

Amanda was very accommodating and flexible! It was our first time leaving Oso alone with anybody but Amanda and her family made sure he felt at home. We Would definitely let Oso come back! Thank you 😊

Diane G goes above and beyond sent me pictures and videos and my dog was just so happy to be there took any worry away from me. It was a great experience for me and my puppy.

Otis seemed to have a great time with Kristine, Joe, and all the pups at their house! They were very easy to communicate with and sent cute photos and updates. It was comforting to know that they were giving Otis lots of love and cuddles throughout the weekend.

Kandra is amazing she will always be my go to person so open with communication great with Phoenix. I never have to worry about my baby when she’s in her care.

Ruby was amazing! She was an excellent communicator and provided daily pics and videos of my boy Merlin. I know he had a blast hanging out with Cooper and the kiddos since he rarely gets much excitement when he’s home with me, haha! I will definitely use Ruby again in the future, and I know Merlin is already looking forward to the next visit!

It was our first time leaving Harley overnight and our second time using Kelsey and her family. They are wonderful!! Thank you so much for taking such good care of our pup❤️

Khamire was taking care of my dog Rea for few days and she was amazing. Rea loved her, she had a lot of fun and I got all the updates every day so that I didn’t have to worry about her for a minute. Great experience ❤️

Loved Debra’s home! There is a large yard with a creek for pups to play in. Unfenced driveway area so dogs are leashed when outside and on walks. I gave Debra permission to take mine off lead while in the more private back area. I’m sure she had a great time. Debra’s Luna is a sweet companion pup. Debra sent pictures each day - it appeared a good time was had by all!

Aleysa and her boys took such great care of my Taylor, I didn't think she would want to come home. Aleysa sent videos and pictures of her on walks and getting cuddles. It made our day while we were away.

Lisa is wonderful! Our two German Shepherds were taken care of so well by Lisa. This was the first time we have ever left them and we were very nervous. Lisa kept us in the loop on how they were doing and truly put us at ease. She is such a gem!

As an owner to a very anxious pup, Samantha absolutely set me at ease from the start. She assured me that my two pups would be in their own kennel with no line of sight to any other animals and her background with large animals meant she that she had no hesitation handling my 95lb pup. Samantha sent multiple updates throughout the day and photos whenever she had my pups out to play in her arena. I could not have asked for a better sitter.

Jena and her family were fabulous. They have a nice house with a wonderful and secure backyard. My dogs love their two children. I feel really secure leaving my dogs with them. They are now my go to Rover sitters.

So pleased to have found Aron. This was a first time leaving our two dogs away from home, overnight. We have one dog who is very attached to my husband but Aron knew just how to work with him. Grateful!
