Doggy Day Care in Colfax

We have found our go-to day care in Grass Valley! Aron has been great with our puppy, providing comfy nap areas indoors when he gets tired from playing (unlike big all day play facilities where pups have no choice but to be in the same space as the loud, active dogs all day). Aron has also been very flexible with us and our schedule. As life’s timing would would shift around, he was always accommodating of our pickup/drop off needs. We will be bringing our dog to Aron again and again.

So grateful that Amanda is willing to deal with our high maintenance puppy. His training is slow going he’s a high anxiety high energy breed and he’s a puppy and neither me nor my husband really knows how to train dogs very well. So, he’s very rough around the edges but Amanda has been very patient with all of his requirements such as tethering timeouts and squirt bottle treatments for his humping habits. So grateful she is willing to take this little work in progress despite all his warts.

Logan was really good with my dogs. She took them on walks and adventures and they had a great time. I’d highly recommend Logan to take care of your dog or dogs.

We started with a meet and greet, and right away Jasper responded positively to Breanna and Edward’s calm, welcoming energy. That first interaction made us feel comfortable moving forward with them watching him. This was Jasper’s first doggy sit after one that didn’t go very well before, and Breanna and Edward were patient, attentive, and very respectful of his rules and pace. He took some time to settle in, which is very normal for him, and they handled the transition beautifully. As the day went on, he relaxed and even took a nap, which told us he felt safe and at ease in their care. They communicated well throughout the day, followed his routine, and were understanding when he wasn’t interested in eating at first, something that’s typical for him in new environments. We really appreciated how thoughtful and calm they were with him. Overall, this was a very reassuring experience, and we feel confident moving forward with additional stays. We would absolutely recommend Breanna and Edward to anyone looking for reliable, kind, and attentive dog sitters.

Laura was great! Keeping me updated with photos and texts. She was also flexible with my hours. Definitely recommend her.

Murphy loves his play dates with Amanda. I love the peace of mind that he is happy, safe and having fun with new friends. Amanda communicates quickly and easily. 100% satisfied.

Leslie is wonderful!! We had a party and our dogs stayed with her for the day and night. She has 3 small sweet dogs of her own who got along great with our dogs. Her set-up is great--she has a very nice, clean, and secure fenced in backyard. Inside the house, she has dog gates up so that no one can run out the front door. She can also keep the dogs separated from each other, if needed--some would be in the kitchen and some would be in the living room. She has hardwood floors and washable rugs so you don't have to worry about your dog having an accident. And she works from home, so she is home with the dogs a lot. She fosters Pomeranians for a Pomeranian rescue and has a heart of gold! I would highly recommend Leslie. I trust my dogs with her!!

Amazing, loving home! Ginger has a blast playing with her new furry friends. If you're looking for a safe, fun environment for your fur baby, this would be the spot.

My two “kids” (an almost 3-year-old Lab and a 9 1/2 month/old Golden Retriever) had a great time again at Michelle’s today, and got their much-needed exercise while I worked! This is the second time they’ve visited Michelle’s, and they’ve had a great time.

Thank you Leslie and Michael! Zeus had a great time playing with Daisy and being lovingly cared for by you. I appreciate the videos and photos sent to me while I was away from him. He had never stayed with anyone outside of family and it comforted me to know he was so happy. I will definitely reach out again should I need a sitter. All the best to you

Our pup's stay with Whitney went great! We were especially thankful that Whitney was available under short notice. Looking forward to having our pup stay with Whitney and her family again.

Nicole and Jarrod made my pup feel right at home in their lovely house. Their yard is spacious, they actually sleep right next to your doggie at night, and the fact that Nicole has a veterinary science background is a huge plus. I highly recommend this sweet family.

Our little Henry Etta spent the afternoon with Sara. It was the first time she had been left with a sitter and as soon as we walked into Sara’s home, I could tell Henry was comfortable. Sara sent a photo midway of Henry happily napping. It all went well, Sara was very kind, and we will be booking again.
