Dog Boarding in Coloma

I cannot recommend Michelle enough! My dog stayed with her over the Christmas week and she treated him like a king. She was so thoughtful and even bought him a squeaky toy for Christmas and gave him prime rib after she got my approval. She sent photos/video updates and eased any worries I had of being away from my dog for the week. If you’re looking for a great dog sitter, Michelle is the one to trust!

Shannon watched our Shiba Inu for a week while we were on vacation. Shannon provided us pictures and videos everyday and we felt at ease knowing Yuna was well taken care of. We had a meet and greet at Shannon’s house. Shannon and her family are very kind and sweet. I left comfortable leaving Yuna in their care. Thank you again Shannon for taking such great care of Yuna!

This was our second time leaving our dog with melissa for the weekend and he didnt want to come back home. Excellent host and a very beautiful fenced property.

Alexa is amazing. She's really cares about the dogs. And she sent us daily updates, including photos, which put the entire family at ease. In fact, the dog was having such a good time with Alexa my kids were worried that he wouldn't want to leave. I can't say enough nice things about her. You and your dog will be happy!

Walee was great. She sent photos of my dog every day. I thought I didnt need them but as the week went on I enjoyed them more. My granddaughter and I looked forward to them each day. He had good new fur friends his size to play with. She took him on walks on her nice street. Cared for his phobias, understands dog behavior , and I knew he was cared for with love.

Sara was so kind. I could tell my dogs would enjoy their stay. Her property is large with plenty of space for my standard poodles to have an adventure. She catered to the needs of my male who had not had positive experiences with other dogs. She listened to me when I described each dog and what their personalities were. I really felt like they were safe and in good capable hands. Will be booking again. Thank you Sara

Sunny loved his stay at Michelle's house! He got so much attention and had plenty of room to run around and play. Michelle and her husband took great care of him and we will definitely be back again.

Milo had best possible time/ care during our vacation and his special needs time with Amy and Justin. He had a small cut wound on his tail and we were hesitant to board him at a private big scale kennel. He needed wound care, medication administration and visit to veterinarians clinic. Amy and Justin went above and beyond to provide this. We were very lucky to find them on Rover. They kept us frequently updated and they were very clear in their communications. We were able to enjoy our vacation at peace. Milo has definitely found a new vacation home for himself as well.

This is our second visit with Amanda. We're so happy to have found her to care for our fur-child prima donna! Her 'puppi-ness' can be a challenge at times but Amanda handles it with ease.

We have used Sharon and Albert twice to dog sit our two dogs. Sharon is super responsive and easy to communicate with to set up meeting times and book our dogs stay. Her house is well set up for dogs, with secure fencing around her beautiful yard and a lock on the front gate to prevent dogs from running out. She is conscientious about the mix of dogs that she takes, and we felt very comfortable about the other dogs our two pups would be interacting with. She sends multiple daily photos, which is much appreciated by those missing their doggos. I recommend her highly.

They did a fantastic job with our puppy, Noah, so much so that Noah didn’t want to leave their house when we went to go pick him up 😂 We were very nervous about leaving our puppy for the first time with people we’ve never met, but they eased our minds, were super warm and welcoming, and Noah took to them right away. They sent us messages and pics while he was in their care, which helped us relax and enjoy our trip. I would 100% recommend them and use their services again and again. Thank you for making our first ever experience on Rover a wonderful one.

Amazing! We didn’t come back until late and they were able to accommodate 1 extra night. My pups were so calm when they usually jump on me.

We have just picked up Jake from his first week-long stay with Linda. We could not be more delighted with the care she provided! Linda’s beautiful fully-fenced property provided ample space for Jake to run, play and explore with her very friendly and gentle dog Meeka. Linda and her husband are clearly dog-lovers who treat their guests like members of the family including snuggling with them during evening television time. I received daily photos and updates from Linda that provided peace of mind and allowed us to fully enjoy our vacation and still stay in contact with our pet. We have already booked time with Linda for other planned vacations and I enthusiastically recommend her!

Elizabeth was great with our dogs. They had a great time and were tired out from all the playing and walks. It was especially nice to see all of the pictures and updates about the dogs while we were away. I would definitely recommend Swansboro Vacation Care.

Barbara and her family are excellent hosts! They made sure Charlie was comfortable and part of the pack. We really appreciated her communication and updates. We will book again soon!

Jena (and family) are amazing. The care and attention they put into our senior chocolate lab Guiness was amazing. He's can take a bit of work at times, but they rolled with it. Great communication before the booking and throughout. Just a top-notch sitter and family. Guinness was spoiled with all the house time and ear rubs, and didn't want to come home. I would highly recommend Jena (and family).

Irina once again did an amazing job with caring for our two little rascals. She's a very sensible caretaker who instinctively knows what's best for the health of our two dogs. I like that she kept us updated on their daily activities and also sent us pictures. I can honestly say that we feel at ease leaving our two little babies with Irina.

Elaine’s care of our sweet two young kitties was truly wonderful. We received the most thoughtful lovely updates regularly with photos. She brushed and cuddled them and even cleaned them before we picked them up. I felt totally at peace and happy to have my precious two in her care. I am so grateful I found her and we will be back soon!

I am so happy to have found Grant and his pack! My dog Duke had a great stay--lots of excercise and supervised fun with new friends. He got to meet the resident cat and did great with him. And I loved that Grant stayed in communication throughout. Will certainly return in the future!
