House Sitting in Confederate Corners

We had to leave unexpectedly for over a week and our 2 regular dogsitters were unavailable. We have multiple dogs and cats, including a 160-pound Great Dane. We were lucky to find Sophia on Rover. We met her in-person hours later and we (and our managerie) liked her. She came to stay in our home a few hours later. Sophia did a wonderful, though not perfect job, (she missed walks on a couple of days), of watching our home and animals. Our dogs clearly love her, she administered our Dane's medicines correctly, sent us pics of their walks, brought in mail, and we were able to attend to an out-of-country funeral with no worries about our dogs, cats or home. She gave us peace of mind. We came home late, but she stayed and waited. She was very friendly and respectful...and our home was left spotless. We highly recommend her and would use her again.

Lisa is fantastic! She did a great job with both my dogs while we were out of town. They absolutely loved her and they were very well taken care of. Would 100% recommend her!

Sara is great with Dakota and Dakota enjoyed the company! This is my first time having to use a pet sitter while being out of town for work so I was hesitant at first, but Sara eased the nerves and will definitely be asking Sara to watch Dakota again in the future.

Thank you Jawharrah for your gentle loving care of our “old boy” Tochi. His behavior since we returned on Monday made it quite clear he spent his weekend in good company. And speaking of company … thank you, Rover, for finding quality care givers like Jawharrah. We would not have been able to travel 3,000 miles from home for the family wedding without the knowledge and confidence that our 12 year old canine champion would be in good hands. Well done. Samatha was very responsive, sent pictures throughout her stay, and replied quickly to emails. My dog took to her immediately!

Greta is not only an incredible pet/house sitter, she is just a wonderful human being. She’s timely, communicative, kind, and a true lover of animals. We just got back from a trip and came home to an immaculate house and very happy pup. She is our new go to, for sure!
