Dog Boarding in Costa Mesa

Sunny has cared for our little cavalier Saylor for almost 2 years now, and she also cared for our previous rescue dog who passed away a few years ago. Once we found Sunny, we knew she was the perfect fit to watch our animals, she has a genuine love for dog and it truly shows. When we turn the corner onto Sunny's street, Saylor immediately starts whining with excitement and wagging her tail. I never feel good about leaving her when we go out of town, but I know she is getting the absolute best care with LOTS of love and attention at Sunny's. She sends photo updates every day which are wonderful... Saylor always looks so happy and content. If I could give Sunny 10 stars I would, we honestly couldn't ask for a better sitter!

I cannot state enough just how much I appreciate Liv and how well she took care of our dog Charlie for us. We had to book last minute because our original Sitter had something urgent come up and they were not able to take care of Charlie. We were literally leaving on a flight the next morning and live agreed to take her. For two weeks no less. My dog is an elderly dog and needs special care. Liv was amazing with her and sent a lot of pics and I could see that she was well cared for. I highly recommend her and will be using her again the next time we ever need to take a trip.

Patricia truly loves animals. I knew the moment we walked up that she was the perfect fit for my pup who is hesitant about everyone. His calm demeanor as he met her just made me feel like I was making the right choice. She offered insight into behavior, gave us regular updates, and even spent the time to train my dog a new trick. She’s a true delight, we will be booking with her again!

Wendi took excellent care of our 2 year old labradoodle Maya. She took her on walks, played with her, and gave her lots of cuddles while we were away. We are so glad to have connected with Wendi and will absolutely plan to reach out to Wendi when we need dog sitting again!

Bennie + Jennie were top tier sitters for our cat Zeke. They provided updates at least 3 times a day with lots of pictures and videos. They adapted to Zeke’s very social and active personality and made sure he had a cuddle buddy at bedtime :) They also worked patiently with Zeke’s picky eating to ensure he finished his meals. Our flight got cancelled and rebooked to the following morning but B + J handled it with grace and were accommodating to our situation. We appreciate their kindness and professionalism. Can’t recommend them enough!

Nikcole took such good care of Wendy while I was out of town. She sent me updates and pictures everyday and was super easy to communicate with through the booking process. This was my first time using Rover so I was a bit nervous, but Nikcole made the entire experience seamless. I’ve already booked a second stay for Wendy!

Kristin put me at ease the moment I met her. She took great care of our small young pup and her dog Sophie was so gentle and patient with her. She kept me updated and sent photos which was really nice. Olive was so tired when she came home from all of the constant playtime, it was very clear she had a fun and enjoyable stay :) Will definitely be using her again!

Jeff & Kara! Lucky loved his time with his new buddies at your place and we can’t thank you enough! Road tripping and camping down the coast with our pup was such fun and it was so convenient you guys were just a half mile away from mom’s, whose place does not allow pets. You made our trip possible while taking such great care of Lucky. It made us smile to see how happy he was to get dropped off with you each time. Thank you for the convenience of us being able to pick up for a walk then being available to take him for both nights. Great communication, very easy to work with! Thank you!!

Al did a fantastic job caring for Theo for what was a rather long trip. We loved the pictures that Al sent and we entrust Theo's care to Al anytime. I was especially thankful that a few days before our trip, Al accommodated my last minute schedule change and was able to help me out with care for Theo on very short notice. I look forward to working with Al anytime we need care for Theo.

For so long we've struggled finding people we can really trust to take care of our Soju (a big old great Dane) and we were so happy with our experience with Nathan, Paula, and their two daughters! Our dog is the anxious type and their family had the perfect energy for her. They sent frequent updates with photos to show that Soju was doing just fine. We've tried others before and can really see in our pup's face in their photos that she is comfortable and happy. Thank you so much!! We hope we can have Soju come visit Auntie Paula, Uncle Nathan, and her two new besties again!!

Nicole was super communicative about coordinating a meet and greet before I left Gio with her for his first boarding with her! She took great care of Gio, kept me updated, and my dog Gio seemed to love her and her two Pomeranians!

Jennifer is awesome with Bella, our french bulldog! She’s great at communicating and sending updated photos of Bella. I was glad I found someone who can accommodate her last minute. I would book Jennifer again.

I was honestly pretty nervous leaving my 4-month-old puppy, Rue, for the first time, but Amanda completely put me at ease. She did such an amazing job caring for her and treated Rue like her own. I really appreciated all the updates and pictures she sent, which made me feel so much more comfortable while I was away. It was clear Rue was having a great time, especially with all the fun outings Amanda took her on. She was attentive, responsible, and genuinely caring. I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience and would absolutely trust Amanda with Rue again.

Catherine is great! She sent me lots of updates and a ton of photos. She also gave my dog his liquid meds, which is not an easy thing. Highly recommend!
