Dog Boarding in East Palo Alto

Margaret and John are amazing, we are so grateful to have found them and will definitely be rebooking for future trips. We adopted our first dog, Chevy, over 3 years ago and had previously only left her once with another sitter, which was a horrific experience for us all. She's a nervous girl and takes a while warm up to new people, which has meant we've avoided leaving her in the care of anyone. Adding in the fact she's 80lbs and can pull suddenly and hard when spooked, makes her tricky to handle for the average sitter, so she requires a very special type of person to care for her. During the meet and greet before booking, Margaret and John were super knowledgeable about dogs, especially nervous pups, and knew all the things we usually advise people on first meeting her (avoiding eye contact, slow, calm movements, generally just ignoring her and letting her check out her new surroundings). Our other pup, Sprout, is an easy going, happy-go-lucky boy who's relatively easy to care for, but is also a big guy, at 70lbs. From the first encounter we felt that Margaret would be more than capable of caring for our pups and we were absolutely not disappointed. She provided regular updates and Chevy was even comfortable enough zooming around in her backyard, testament to the calm environment Margaret had set up. Margaret is well on her way to becoming on Chevy's "friend" list after only 24h in her care, and we look forward to having her care for Chevy and Sprout again in the future.

MinJun and Mi Ran are the best rover host you would want to find. They really love dogs and treated our dog as if their own. They took great care of our dog and even offered him a clean bed when they noticed his crate was dirty. They sent us a lot of pictures and updates and we would definitely trust them with our dog anytime!

Aspen’s second stay with Fang was even better than the first! Fang is so thoughtful and caring and took excellent care of Aspen. She made us feel so comfortable with a ton of pictures, videos and updates. Will 100% book with Fang again in the future. Thank you, Fang :)

Milo is so sad when coming home from Jesse and Kimmy. He has so much fun there, and he can’t wait to go back and play again. I always know he’s in good hands!

Jifu did an amazing job with Benito. He was very fast with his replies and Benito came home tired out and happy! Would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Athena was well taken care of all week long. At our initial meet and greet, our sometimes skittish dog felt very comfortable with Manli. Manli made sure she knew exactly what our dog needed, and she sent photos every night. We are very happy with the care Athena received!!

Marivel and Alvaro took great care of our pup Apollo. We will definitely book with them again. Apollo is a rescue who’d been surrendered 3 times, he has some anxiety issues and leaving him wasn’t easy but had to be done and M&M made it easier. Thank you!

Christopher was fantastic with my two pups while we were away on a road trip! Toko tends to be a bit skittish when anxious, and Christopher took both Arya and Toko on walks regularly without any issues. He gave me detailed daily updates, was very communicative throughout our trip, and sent me the best glamour shots of their faces! I absolutely recommend him for watching over your furry family members.

Tracy was great with Teddy. Loved her updates and I can tell she took great care of him. Will definitely leave Teddy with her again next time we travel.

Olga, igor and their kids did a fantastic job taking care of Kiki. They were very easy to work with on drop off/pick up timings and made sure to learn about Kiki's needs and quirks. Great communication during the stay with regular photos and videos. Kiki lived her best life-walks, the dog park and snuggles. I wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future.

We live in Los Angeles but when we had an event in Palo Alto, we knew we had to bring Misha to see her absolute favorite babysitter!! Tilliana is the best! We have used her before when we were in the area and can’t say enough good things! Our tiny girl is usually very reserved and skittish but Tilliana brings her out of her shell and gets her having the time of her life. Misha thinks she is being rewarded with an awesome pup vacation rather than dropped off with a babysitter. Tilliana is a win-win for parents and pups alike!! We have a couple trips coming up and have decided it is worth flying up and dropping our sweet girl with Tilliana before leaving - she’s that good!!

Ollie's first stay with Zhiya was a success! He is a senior pup with failing eyesight and anxiety. Zhiya showed such kindness and cared for him like he was one of her own. The fact that he actually napped at her home is a sign that he was at ease and felt safe. She reported that Ollie got along well with her two well-behaved pups and cat. Very grateful and will book in the future without hesitation.

Christina was very responsive and thoughtful in all our interactions. She was able to take my dog somewhat last minute after my original boarding plan fell through. In our meet and greet she asked all the right questions about his personality, likes and dislikes, how he walked on leash, food, habits, etc. She has a nice house and a fully fenced yard for the doggies to play in. She only takes one dog at a time, but she has her own dog so my dog had a buddy to hang out with. I would definitely use Christina again.

Michael and family provided quality care for our pup. We were kept informed through regular pictures and messages through the rover.com system.

Caesar was beyond excellent!!! He is outstanding in every way: beautiful care of our Ozzie, lovely photos every day, and specific details about how and what Ozzie was doing.

Jasmine is our go-to sitter! She’s so easy to communicate with and truly spends quality time with Franny, playing with her, taking her out on walks, and making sure she’s happy.

Boone was given so much love and attention while we were gone. He was a prince in heaven. Loved the daily pictures and check ins. Much appreciated!
