Doggy Day Care in El Cajon

Melody was well taken care of and I was given updates and pictures of my baby girl throughout the day, which I absolutely loved! 🥰 Melody has found a WONDERFUL & TRUSTWORTHY pup sitter in Ms.Christina and she can’t wait to see her again! ❤️ 🐾

Let me start by saying I am an overprotective dog parent. My dogs come first and I have only ever trusted our neighbor with them. With our trusted person having some health issues, we needed supplemental help with the fur babies during work days. I was very doubtful as I started this search process. Especially with our older dog, who is very fearful of people and generally takes him having constant daily contact with someone for at least a month before he’ll allow contact without running away (this includes close friends and our dog behaviorist). We were looking for providers that had done the “enhanced background check” on Rover (green bar under the security ‘check mark’-and means they took an extra step in background check). We met with one and the meet & greet went ok, but we thought we should meet with 1-2 more, especially since we were new to this. Although Charlie & Shanna didn’t have the ‘enhanced background check’ (at the time of our looking), I saw the excellent reviews they had in comparison to other providers and decided to go ahead and schedule a meet & greet. It was not going to be a deal breaker if our older dog was afraid upon meeting potential dog walkers, as that is to be expected. However, what ended up happening was truly UNEXPECTED. Approximately 10 minutes of meeting Shanna for the very first time, our older dog allowed her to pet him and was walking TOWARD her, not away from her (if you knew our dog, you’d know how unbelievable this is-our family & friends who know our dogs well do not even believe this happened). My husband & I looked at each other without saying a word, we both knew our look to each other meant “she’s hired!” You hear stories about dog “whisperers,” and I can honestly say Shanna truly has whatever that extra sense is that dogs respond positively to. We also have a puppy who she is incredible with and he loves his day care stays at their place. We have only met Shanna, that’s why this review has her name attached to it. We appreciate that her & Charlie work as a team, as that means they are able to juggle schedules of being places more efficiently so 1 of them is always home with dogs in their home care. To date, we have used their doggy day care and home drop-in services and are very satisfied. Shanna is punctual, always texts before she arrives and upon arrival. They always send photos and updates on how the visit is going, and are very quick to respond to you. We are so glad we took the time to read their reviews and hire them. Their reviews tell the story of their great service and that is why we wanted to make sure to leave one as well.

Bernice is a wonderful host. She not only loves these digs, she is very knowledgeable regarding their behavior and interactions. She treated my puppy like it was hers. I couldn’t be happier with her services.

Cannot say enough good things about Adrian and my pup's day over there! So very kind and friendly (as were their dogs!!), which put this first-time client instantly at ease when leaving my baby. In the evening I got back a thoroughly happy, worn-out boy, who fell asleep 10 minutes into the drive home, with a completely contented look on his face. If I were local I'd come back many times over. I would recommend Adrian to anyone who needs a petsitter!

Cerita is an AMAZING human! I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful experience for my pup. This beautiful, loving family took such incredible care of him over the weekend and treated him like one of their own. It was clear how much time, attention, and genuine affection they gave him — from playtime to cuddles and everything in between. I felt completely at ease knowing he was not just being watched, but truly loved. I’m so grateful for the care they provided and would trust them again without hesitation. Highly, highly recommend! 🐾💛

Mark and Christina give my dog excellent care! They are patient and accommodating, especially as she learns how to be around other dogs. I am comforted to know that she is in good hands while I’m away!

My pups had a blast today! Adriana and Cameron are awesome with dogs, communication was always on point and you can just tell how professional and genuine they are. I received lots of awesome pics and videos throughout the stay as well! Would definitely recommend to anyone
